Not the normal sight-seeing of NYC....

| We meet Grandmster Caz, who is a very friendly and funny person. After we got on the bus he told us some things about hip hop`s history and we meet a B-Boy in Harlem, who showed us some moves and some of the visitors had the opportunuity to learn some B-Boy moves. We visited also some historic spots of Harlem and the Bronx and had lunch at a soul food restaurant. I can recommend this tour to everybody, who likes to see NYC from a different side and everybody, who is interested in hip hop culture. This tour is organized very good and informative. The tourguides are very friendly. | ||||||

| September 2009 met with the legendary Mike D, and his crew and scooted over the bridge to Queens to hear his thoughts on Rap & Hip hop. There was 8 on the tour and I think we were the only couple who didnt know the history or most of the rappers he mentioned - by the end I knew my 'Ladies Love' from my Grandmaster Jay alright. Good fun, and Mikey D is so passionate - shame he only hit the UK for the first time this year though. We hit the Queensbury projects, 5 points graffitti, Hollis, Jamaica and then his favourite Barbers!! The soul food stop was great - the original Technics 1210s on display with all the platinum discs aswell. We had a great time Mike. You kept me laughing the whole tour (especially how the bad boy rapper was struggling with his allergies that day!!) Only downside was at times it seemed a bit stretched out and the lads werent sure what to do next or where to go. Apart from that, yeah it was worth the money and we have the memory of watching the man in action Freestyling away on the bus without any anti-histamines!! Paul & Claire Garstang, UK | ||||||

| I have been into Hip Hop since the late 80's - among loads of other musical styles and was looking very much forward to this tour (after being told about it by a friend who did it a few years back). I was on the tour with my wife (whom is not THAT into hip hop), but we both learned so much! Not only about Hip Hop and the origins, but also about American history (although it might "only" be 30 year old history) We were fully entertained throughout the entire trip! Grandmaster Cas was the perfect host for this. Friendly, witty, knowledgeable and fresh! I have a few friends that will be going to New York and this tour will be highly recommended! | ||||||

| Caz was great! We are long time fans of Hip hop from NY and knew much of the info already but still learned a lot and were very entertained. The tour description emphasizes "celebrity guides" so we had anticipated that we would be meeting Kurtis, Rahiem, Reggie or others as well. We loved the sites but wish we could have toured places inside too. The Apollo Theater; for example, was a cool stop but we couldn't see it well from inside the bus. While the lunch was fine, we would have preferred skipping it and having more actual hip hop tour time. The stop killed the momentum and was a distraction from the tour. Overall it was a really interesting tour though that we would reccomend and would definately take another Hush tour. | ||||||

| Grandmaster Cas is a great tour guide and Hip-Hop historian. My wife and I booked several tours while in New York, however, this Hip-Hop tour was by FAR the BEST!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, it should be a requirement for all who are interested in Hip-Hop. The city of New York has and continues to benefit from Hip-Hop. The least it can do is mark the historic sites which are visited during this tour. AWESOME! AWESOME and MORE AWESOME! If you are reading this and think that it may have been posted by someone who works for this tour, your are WRONG!!!!! I am a regular person who traveled from the South who experienced this fantastic tour. I have not had the chance to see the other tour guides in actions, I have witnessed Cas and he is excellent. | ||||||

| This tour was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in New York. Our tour guide, grand master Caz with his big personality and his legendary status within the realms of Hip hop made this tour interesting, fun and equally accessible to those with an interest in the music and those with little or no knowledge. The tour takes you through Harlem and the Bronx, both areas that have to be experienced if you want to get a real flavour of the city . Overall, this 4 hour tour is packed with historical information about hip hop with visits to significant sites, guided by a legend who shares his incredible memories and experiences of the birth of the music. It was a true priviledge to be in his company and we left feeling that it was the real deal. We would like to extend a big thanks to Hush tours for providing what has been an excellent experience. | ||||||

| Despite a thunderstorm in the middle of our tour, our guide valiantly showed us a number of locations with entertaining anecdotes about the early days of hip hop. Now that I read about the history of hip hop, the places come alive in a different way. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this tour for any serious hip hop head who respects the thought of learning the history/roots of something you love. Grandmaster Caz was great and koo to kick it with. He's very knowledgeable. Listen to his stories, take it all in, and just flow with the tour. You're visiting the Jerusalem of Hip Hop. To visit these actual spots after a lifetime of living/loving hip hop is amazing. Go to the tour you'll love it. | ||||||

| It was the Pioneers tour taken by Cold Crush Legend Grandmaster Caz, assisted by music master and co tour guide Puerto Rico. Took in many stops in Harlem and a few in the Bronx. Saw site of Herc's first party in Sedgwick Avenue, plus various clubs in Harlem. Take a camera, you see some great graffiti. Only wish is that tour took in the Bronx River Projects too, maybe they can be added? | ||||||

| The tour was great. My sister and I have been to New York a few times before but never got a chance to see the parts of NYC that we got to see on the tour, like the South Bronx and Rucker Park. Grandmaster Caz was our tour guide and did a great job of educating those that didn’t really know much about hip hop while keeping the others that did know a little something something interested too. Caz is definitely passionate about hip hop and the history of it; I can’t think of a better person to lead this tour. If I could change anything, I would say that the bus could be upgraded | ||||||

| This was a totally awesome tour led by a genuine old school hip hoper by the name of DJ Caz (of the Cold Crush Bros). I enjoyed it immensely. You got a real feel for the origins of hip-hop. Get to see parts of N.Y that most tourists don't. Boogie down Bronx and Harlem both. | ||||||
