| Pros: - Grandmaster Caz really knows what he's talking about - Caz brings you back in the late 70ies when all began - You'll get an impression why and how they started to create their own thing called hiphop - You'll get out of Manhattan, into Harlem and Bronx - You'll get to know the real story behind the Sugarhill Gang - You'll spend a nice afternoon worth every single dime you spent Cons: - You move around and see many places, but of course it's not the same like when you're visiting old Egypt. New York changed in the last years. You'll see graffitys but of course you won't see the original ones. - You don't go to deep into the real Bronx Once again, it's been a great tour, we enjoyed every single minute!! | Everyone tell's you all the things you have to do when going to NYC. Well, this is one of them it's just a shame not many people know about it! The tour was superb, informative and entertaining and relevant to both hip-hop fanatics and novices alike. Grandmaster Caz was quality from start to finish. We heard some great stories, had some great food, saw some great sites and were lucky enough to witness Caz perform first hand! If you want to do something completely different from the usual tourist stuff then make sure you do this!!! | ||||||

| Quite simply the highlight of me and DJ Prin-ce's four day visit to NYC from the UK. It surpassed my expectations in terms of the depth of knowledge and love for the roots of Hip Hop from the Hush Tours team, but especially the guide Grandmaster Caz. I thought I knew something about Hip Hop, but soon realised that I didn't know a lot...and still have a lot to learn. Quite simply, this Hip Hop tour is an essential part of your visit to NYC regardless of whether you are into Hip Hop culture or not. Respect to the four elements of Hip Hop...Peace! | Caz really brings the story alive, ably abetted by the borrowed bling bringing further character! I would heartily recommend this tour to ANYONE with even a passing interest in the music. | I loved the tour. I really got a great insight into the culture of hip hop, I thought I knew a lot already but learnt so much more from Caz. He was an entertaining guide. Really enjoyed his impromptu performance on the bus and also the b-boying performance at Ruckers Park. My only negative comments would be that we spent a large time in the bus, I would have liked to see more sights and also I would have liked to spend more time in the Bronx as the majority of the tour focuses on Harlem. But still, highly recommended! | ||||||

| Very informative tour with enthusiastic and knowledgable guide, although we didn't know much about hip-hop, we learnt a great deal. Would have missed out on this area if we hadn't done the tour. | ||||||

| I strongly recommend people attend the Hip Hop tour whether they are Hip Hop enthusiasts like myself or just tourists to New York who want to experience something off the beaten path. Meeting a legend like Grandmaster Caz of the mighty Cold Crush Four was my highlight as well as experiencing the sights and sounds of Uptown Harlem and the BX. The Soul Food lunch was also delicious! Next time I visit NYC I am sure I will book on the Queens tour to experience some more of the hip hop sights in the other boroughs and hopefully get to meet Mikey D of the LA Posse. | We went on this tour with Grandmaster Caz, He's a good guide there was only one negative thing, me and my mother were there on a day that a Large group dancers ( or whatever ) went with us... so when Caz asked who liked his song almost everybody puts there hand in the air.. but ofcourse only the large group gets that song.. thats a lillte pitty .. In general, it was a great tour !! | ||||||

| Went on this tour with my two sons aged 18 and 16 expecting just to go along for the ride. I was pleasantly surprised as Grandmaster Caz tok us all back to the days when hip-hop began. It was quite an education for all of us and I would recomend it highly to anyone with an interest in the roots of hip-hop and the new rap artists! | ||||||
