| Wassup, A review straight outta Amsterdamned! The hush tour was legendary and a lot of fun! A great honour to talk and eat with Caz and Reggie Reg. Inspiring, never forget it and will pass on the Hush Tour message! Big up. Some postive critics to improve the tour: - maybe an extra stop to look at a freestyle battle (beatbox, streetcorner) - some more Hush-tour stuff (shirts, caps) for tourist to buy during tour With love, Ray & Pum | ||||||

| The tour was excellent. It is amazing to think that you can sit there and tour these historical neighborhoods as the history of hip-hop is orally described to you from the perspective of a real hip hop pioneer. My tour was led by Curtis Blow and included everything from lunch with the man, to an improvisational turn at performing "The Brakes" live on the bus, to a question answer session. The group was small and manageable, but that will surely change as more people hear about this wonderful experience. Overall it was well organized, although a bit more discipline could help make time for a few more spots. The only complaint I would have is that we did not go to Brooklyn or Queens. They should consider lengthening the tour to include at least one of those sites as well as the sites we did cover. I would not mind another 1-1.5 hrs to see those sites, the possibilities are endless. I had a great time. It was the best tour I have ever been on and should be emulated in other cities that have historical or cultural significance that is ignored by the mainstream. | ||||||

| The tour was an authentic one with wonderful tour guides (what's up Caz and Reg!!) that kept the tour exciting and fun. I got to see parts of NY that I otherwise would not have gone to, and got to learn the history and stories behind where it all started. The four hours that the tour lasted were just not enough. Nobody wanted it to end. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that loves hip hop, wants to learn about hip hop, or anybody that just wants to have a good time! | ||||||

| This was a great highlight of our trip to NYC. We live in Oakland, CA and have been waiting for years to go on a tour like this one. Our Guide, Rahim, was very informative, personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. We gained much insight into the origins of Hip Hop and of Harlem in general. We highly recommend this tour and we'll definitely do another one on our next visit! | ||||||

| The tour was great. Grandmaster was awesome and very enthusiastic. He provied lots of information. The organizer of the tour, Debbie (I think) was also very helpful and very nice. We had a great time. Lunch in Harlem was cool as we got to eat collard greens and black eyed peas. The only thing I would suggest is that if we could see more of the actual sites that Grandmaster Cass talked about--the actual block where some of the partys occurred, etc. But, the tour was a blast and we have already recommended it to lots of friends, both who live in NYC and who don't. | I thought I knew all about the birth of hip hop, but it turns out I knew little to nothing. That's why I loved this tour; it was educational and entertaining. The vibe was laid back and fun. Our group was quite diverse; Japanese tourists, British hip hop fans, and even visitors from Montana. Our guide, Grand Master Kas, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, funny, and most importantly, he kept it real. I had a friend visiting me from Scotland, who also loved the tour. I would take any of my future out-of-town visitors on this tour, just so that I could go again! It really was that good. Thank you Hush Tours! | ||||||

| The Hip Hop tour was very knowledgeable, interesting and extermely fun. The comentator "CAZ" was the bomb and nontheless Deborah we really do appreciate you waiting on us due to the Dumb taxi driver. I will most definetly take the tour again. My people the tour is well worth your money not only is it fun it's a learning tour of our roots back in the day when Hip Hop started and you will also get a chance to see some memorable landmarks. | Grandmaster Caz and Debra gave us more than we could ask for. We had a chance to be with one of the founders of hip hop and that in its self is priceless. I will always remember Caz's passion and dedication to the art of Hip-Hop and I can't thank Debra enough for HUSH productions and her commitment to the experience. Thank you! | ||||||

| What an amazing experience to be part of the congregation at the Hip Hop Church. Debra very kindly escorted me herself, and introduced me to Kurtis Blow on arrival. The night was full of energy, and wonderful entertainment. I almost forgot I was in a church! The Pastor has created a great thing, and I hope it continues to be as strong as it is, with whoever replaces him. I was made to feel very welcome, and enjoyed taking part in the singing and dancing in the pews. An experience I will always remember fondly, and something I will never experience anywhere else! | ||||||

| Knew a fair bit about hip-hop's origins before we went on this tour, but found out ALOT more! Grandmaster Caz is a superb host, filled with knowledge and alot of humour and happy to take questions at any point... It's amazing to see the many spots that you just wouldn't be able to find ithout a dedicated tour-guide pointing them out. Seeing the hall of fame, Spanish Harlem, Malcolm X's Mosque #7, the Apollo and so on was amazing. RECOMMENDED! | ||||||

| Hip Hop is a rich culture and social movement that has sprung from the streets of NY and exploded into a global phenomenon. Hip Hop is a positive movement that gave an identity and voice to those who previously had no voice in our culture. It's important to understand the history of Hip Hop and ALL the facets of Hip Hop, not just the commercial versions seen on TV or heard on the radio. Who better to learn from than one of the pioneering groups, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Rahiem hosted our tour and he was amazing. I could have talked to him for hours. He has lived Hip Hop and seen it flower and change over the years. If you get Rahiem as your tour guide, LISTEN TO HIM, he has some really thought provoking ideas that I largely agreed with. He is a teacher who is willing to share more about the culture than just the sites on the tour. Take advantage of his time and learn as much as you can. As you walk through the streets of Harlem, use all your senses to take in the beauty and culture of this neighborhood. It's well worth the $25 ticket price...the best part of my 6 day trip. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the tour. It was nice to hear more detail about the history of Hip Hop and how Harlem contributed to its creation. Raheim was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the elements of Hip Hop. He made everyone feel comfortable as the tour progressed. Just as a suggestion, it would be nice to have a way for the tour guide to project his voice. We were a group of only 7, but will all the traffice on the streets, it was sometimes difficult to hear his remarks. We would definitely encourage others to participate in the tours, if visiting NYC. Thanks, Kyle, Kim and Dasja | ||||||
