| Travelled from the Liverpool in the UK to New York and this was the one tour that would let me see some of New York that you wouldnt see on the normal tourist trips. Also, being a big hip hop and electro fan, I just knew that this tour would not disappoint, especially with originals from the furious five and fearless 4 with us hosting the tour. The tour was absolutely brilliant. I think the best for me was actually visiting the location where DJ Kool Herc first laid down his first set - the beginning of it all. I felt absolutely honoured to be in the presence of the pioneers from Hip Hop and to hear their stories and see the love they still have for something that happened so long ago. If you are a fan of music and want to learn something of a culture that is as much a part of New York as the Empire State Building then I recommend this tour to you. There are some major historical landmarks which New York and America need to recognise for their effects on music and culture throughout the world. | ||||||

And the ages that went on the tour were varied from 16 to 42.... And we all loved it! Raheim from grand master flash was incredible, insightful and inspiring! | ||||||

| Me and four friends were lucky to participate in the Hushtours last Saturday. Grandmaster Caz gave insight in the whole history of hiphop. The atmosphere was very good. Relaxed. It was really fun. I will definitely book another tour with Hushtours. Verena. | ||||||

| Really enjoyed Caz telling stories about the early days of hip hop! Great to meet Curtis Blow at the soulfood restaurant. I also liked the way Caz involved the group. Suggestions for improvement: - more historical facts about hip hop (a handout and/or tipps for literature would have been great) - more illustration material (photos, books, film) - tipps for current hip hop clubs as well as record and other stores - an outlook on current hip hop trends These are just some ideas : ) Thank you and all the best, Caroline | ||||||

| While you're patiently waiting for the time machine to be invented, the Hip Hop Tour Led by Pioneers of Rap is the only way you can experience hip-hop history first hand! Being in NYC and not hopping on the Hush Tour bus is like going to Florence and not going to see the Uffizi! If you are a hip-hop fan, or are just curious, just DO NOT miss it! | ||||||

| John was terrific. I brought 4 Ca. friends, basically four demanding "president" types. All chiefs, no indians. He sized up the situation very accurately and was able to keep them all happy -- practically an impossiblity. I've known these ladies for 37 years. and this was not an easy task. I, as a musician, loved learning what he said about Hip Hop, something all of us classicists have a hard time understanding. I would very much like to know of a very good tour to hear Gospel singing and some of the the musicians John told me lead your tours. Pls. write me about these. | ||||||

| It has been almost one year since my family and I took the Hip Hop tour of Manhattan, Harlem and the Bronx. The Queens Bridge & Hollis tour is a nice complement for those seeking extra info. I must say that Mikey D. and Mark are very entertaining and you can tell they love their native borough of Queens. They made it as comprehensive as they could, pointing out to us all of the places and events that have shaped the hip hop culture within Queens. Thank you both for an enjoyable afternoon. | My husband is a big hip hop fan & I went along for the ride! But this was great for both of us - he was able to ask questions about things he already knew aswell as finding out new things & getting to see legendary hip hop sites, & I was able to get an understanding of some of the background to hip hop culture. It was also a great way to see some different parts of new york. | ||||||

| Loved the tour. Was engaged and entertained from start to finish. Loved Grandmaster Caz - what a guy - and was really interested in all he told us. Especially liked where we stopped for lunch. This little English white girl got her first taste of the oft' referenced 'collard greens'! | ||||||
