| We attended the Hip Hop tour led by pioneering hip hop legends in New York. The tour was fantastic and led by people who really cared about where they came from! I was led by my brother who is a keen hip hop fan - and although I'm not an expert I do like the music! I loved it - because it was about more than music - it was about people's desire to display their identity and to teach others! I would highly recommend the tour and I would tell anyone visiting New York to give it a go as Harlem, the bronx, the people and the music is such a big part of the BIG apple! The lunch was great and everyone was really friendly and fun! WOW!! | ||||||

| Because of the weather and delayed airplanes, my tour didn't happen! I met John who appolozige for the inconvience and gave me a mix cd (free of charge) and gave the ticket value back. So next time I come to New York I will call them and schedule my tour, because they said I should do so and they will lay for me the red carpet! John was very kind and we spoke for a while about the todays bew york rap scene! So considering the sadness of not having the tour I am not totally sad because of the chat I had with him! Next it will be better! | ||||||

| This was a totally awesome tour led by a genuine old school hip hoper by the name of DJ Caz (of the Cold Crush Bros). I enjoyed it immensely. You got a real feel for the origins of hip-hop. Get to see parts of N.Y that most tourists don't. Boogie down Bronx and Harlem both. | ||||||

| A look into a side of hip hop you don't get access to that easily. The tour was lead by Mikey D and his man Googles. We got to see sites all up and down Queens and heard stories that brought a flavour to the life of hip hop. Entertaining throughout with conversations, pop quizes and other insights. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves hip hop and those who want to know more. | ||||||

| It was an untraditional look at New York City. Not everyone wants to see Times Square and the Empire State Building. New York city created the hip-hop culture and that deserved recognition! The food was excellent!!! | ||||||

| Grand Master Caz is a very interesting man who is part of the Hip Hop culture from its earliest days back in the 1970's. He gave us a fascinating insight into the roots and the pillars of the Hip Hop culture and took us on a tour of parts of New York we would otherwise not have seen. He is not just a tour guide, he is genuinely an important part of the Hip Hop scene. I would recommend this tour for anyone with an interest in Hip Hop and for any family on holiday in New York with teenage kids. | ||||||

| Coming from London, and listening to hip hop for well over a decade now, we really wanted to see all the places it originated from. This tour gave us a great insight into how it got started and we could picture the scenes of the early days due to a great running commentary as we passed these places on our tour bus. These guys know what they are talking about, and tell you in an amusing and inspiring way. The graffiti hall of fame was a highlight for me, as I had always wanted to see this. The food in the restaurant was lovely and gave us a great chance to chat to our fellow hip hoppers on the tour. All in all we really recommend it, and when we come back to New York, will be taking the other tours available. We cant wait to return!!! | ||||||

| If you ever take a tour take this one. The best inside look at this area of Hip-hop. Brings everything you know to life. Not only this but Mikey D is a very genuine guy who makes you feel like a friend and not just a customer. This tour is worth more than the cost! | ||||||

| The tour was fun and insightful...a little long, but fun nonetheless...Manna's Soul Food was dope, excellent food for sure...I learned a lot about Hip-Hop history, and it was fun listening to some of the first songs ever recorded in the name of Hip-Hop...good job, and I appreciate it. Have more cd's for sale next time, and it'd be a perfect tour! Peace | ||||||

| No matter which way you cut it, the figures don't lie. The culture of hip-hop is now a global phenomenon on many levels including socially and economically. Finally, a tour has been put together to not only acknowledge the stats, but to credit those responsible. I may be way off base, but I think the tour should have local [if not national] government support. The popularity of the tour will undoubtedly grow in the coming years, by which point it will have possibly been hijacked by a corporation keen to promote his/her own personal cause. I know it's easy for me to say as an 'outsider', but the fact remains, hip hop culture has, and continues to offer many positives to people from all walks of life, races and ages. In the long tradition of African-American expression, it will surely go down in history and the 'pioneers' should therefore be held in as much reverence as those from the traditions of Blues, Jazz and Soul. Additionally, the tour should become the centrepiece of a wider series of regularly scheduled events and activities that can serve as a living record of the culture for both locals and visitors from across the world. I was amongst the first of the many European followers of hip hop in the early eighties and prompted by pioneers like Dondi, Lee and Futura became a passionate and dedicated graffiti artist. I have since used my talents and skills to inform much of the work I do now both as an artist and professional designer. I'm reluctant to criticise the tour because of the many, many positives. I will therefore, end by saying that with continued support, community participation and of course PR and advertising, the tour and of course the culture, will eventually become recognised as a jewel in New York's crown. | ||||||

| Caz really brings the story alive, ably abetted by the borrowed bling bringing further character! I would heartily recommend this tour to ANYONE with even a passing interest in the music. Its well organised, structured and unpretentious. An unforgettable experience for this Hip Hop old timer!!!!!!! | ||||||

| The information conveyed was interesting. But I wished there had been more discussion between points of interest about the nature of hip-hop culture or some personal stories about the tour leaders experiences with hip-hop. I would still reccomend it for people with an interest in hip-hop. | ||||||
