| Quite simply the highlight of me and DJ Prin-ce's four day visit to NYC from the UK. It surpassed my expectations in terms of the depth of knowledge and love for the roots of Hip Hop from the Hush Tours team, but especially the guide Grandmaster Caz. I thought I knew something about Hip Hop, but soon realised that I didn't know a lot...and still have a lot to learn. Quite simply, this Hip Hop tour is an essential part of your visit to NYC regardless of whether you are into Hip Hop culture or not. Respect to the four elements of Hip Hop...Peace! | We went on this tour with Grandmaster Caz, He's a good guide there was only one negative thing, me and my mother were there on a day that a Large group dancers ( or whatever ) went with us... so when Caz asked who liked his song almost everybody puts there hand in the air.. but ofcourse only the large group gets that song.. thats a lillte pitty .. In general, it was a great tour !! | ||||||

| It was ok, not too bad but itwas just a little overview. I wouldn't recogment it to those who are already informed about Hip Hop history. In adition the tour should last longer in comparising to the price. Nevertheless the guide was nice. All in all, ok but not overwhelming. | ||||||

| Understanding the begins of Hip-Hop and Rap. One recommendation: Add more of the newer rappers as part of the tour. So, you'll get more young people involved in the understanding of the beginning of Hip-Hop. | ||||||

| OMG!! I absolutely loved it. I have been on MANY NYC tours and this was completely different. It was interesting, fun, interactive and educational. I currently live in Brooklyn and love when I have opportunities to see other parts of the city. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to hip-hop lovers and people who just want an exciting/different experience in NYC. All of the landmarks were historical and the Graffiti Wall of Fame was amazing!! Grandmaster Caz was the guide and what a lucky woman I was to have a forefather of Hip-Hop giving me a tour and history lesson. He was VERY funny and honest. And now I can't stop seeing him on every show and documentary of hip hop....He is even my MySpace picture right now :) | ||||||

| I wish we had more places to visit where we could get out of the bus. I wish we had listened more music and less talk. It is too expensive to be in the bus for nearly three hours and eat at a $4.99 all you can eat buffet. I have eaten soul food all my life, and was disappointed. The host was kind and funny; but patronizing and not very open to dialogue. I am not crazy about tours and was trying to have a positive experience. Had it been less expensive and lasted 2 hours only, I would have enjoyed more. | ||||||

| My granddaughter and I (at her request) found Hush Hip Hop Tours online. Grand Master Cas led our tour and was extremely informative about the origins and evolution of Hip Hop. Like many musical pioneers, he had his own story to tell about the very beginning of Hip Hop and how some of his early material was used without his inclusion in future financial gain. Our bus was not especially lively or open to interaction, unfortunately. I think we ended up mostly with tourists and folks who weren't into the rap. Cas was extraordinarily knowledgeable and the B-boys were terrific, too! The tour could be expanded in a way that would encourage more participation and questions among those with a desire to know the genre. Too, the significance of Harlem as the cultural heartbeat of Black Americans could be expanded. I will recommend this tour and I would also take other visitors on it. Many kudos to the founder of this tour, Debbie, and Grand Master Cas for undertaking this important effort. | ||||||

| The information conveyed was interesting. But I wished there had been more discussion between points of interest about the nature of hip-hop culture or some personal stories about the tour leaders experiences with hip-hop. I would still reccomend it for people with an interest in hip-hop. | ||||||

| We very much enjoyed our tour and found our guide Raheim both interesting and professional. Only one of us on the tour is a hip hopper but my wife and I ,who are 'oldies', felt more of a connection to what the music and lyrics express. Raheim's knowlege of Harlem and hip hop in general is inspiring and infectious. My wife and I probably won't be doing the groupie thing anytime soon at hip hop concerts, but we will recommend anyone interested in bridging the generation and cultural gap to do this tour while enjoying the history of a 'way cool' place! | ||||||
