The info was interesting.
Sat, May 7, 05   11:00 AM sir_steven Male 20-29 Combination Individual
The tour contained 2 parts: 1. Grandmaster Caz / Reggie Reg giving information about Hiphop: how it originated and how it is now. 2. Several places that were important for Hiphop: 125th street, Graffiti Hall of fame, Rucker Park basketball court, etc. The part that I liked most was the information that Caz and Reg gave. It was very interesting even if you know things about Hiphop and how it originated it is interesting.

Rap is something you do. Hip Hop is something you live. This tour highlights and explorers the origins and history of this essential culture in a extremely thorough fashion. I would recommend it to any Hip Hop Head. Peace, B-Boy SikMik

Hip Hop Tour Out of the Box
Sat, Mar 11, 06   11:00 AM shumphrey Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Our family which included parents in their 40's and our three teenagers had been to New York several times and try to do something different each time we visit the city. We are from the Midwest. Found the Hip Hop tour while visiting a New York City website with a link to "Teen Scene in NYC". All of us thoroughly enjoyed the hip hop tour. The history, sightseeing around Harlem, the soul food lunch, the historical stops the tour made and of course our host, Master Caz right on the bus jammin was very cool. Our teenagers did not know what to expect and absolutely loved the tour and the time flew by! To be honest, us parents really didn't know much about the origin of the hip hop movement and it was fascinating and entertaining. Highly recommended for anyone who likes adventures a bit out of the box.

It was okay...

Basically Cas on a soapbox. If you already know what comprises Hip-Hop (style, grafitti, MC, and DJ) you'll be bored the first half of the tour. Make sure you eat breakfast because we didn't eat until 2:30 and the tour started at 11am. Definitely learned a lot about history and culture...great tour for kids and adults alike...I just wish someone had told me 1) this covers the BIRTH of hip-hop through 1981 (not clear on the web site), and 2) it's basically Grandmaster Cas telling his personal journey. It wouldn't have deterred me from going necessarily...I just might have chosen a different tour that featured another era I think.

INTERESTING TOUR BUT MISSED HIP-HOP DEMONSTRATION
Thu, Apr 13, 06   1:00 PM SGIRARDET Female 50-59 International Tourist(s) Family With Children
The tour was quite interesting, the graffiti wall of fame was great and our tour guide was wonderful. The only missing part was a Hip-Hop demonstration to top it off!

Sat, Mar 24, 07   11:00 AM senthan Male 20-29 International Tourist(s) Individual
The tour was dope, GM CAZ has alot of charizma and will keep you focused. Most of the stuff he said I already knew but even so was still cool just to listen to him. I hoped to be taken to see more graf sites and more points of interest, but all good never the less. P.S: the soul food restaurant that you get taken to is tasty S*?T!!!!! Respect to the organisers and GM CAZ

I had the greatest time on the Hip Hop Tour of the Bronx, Harlem, and Manhattan!!! It was so amazing to be sitting on a bus with Grandmaster Caz rolling through all the spots that were, are, a huge part of the development of Hip Hop culture! I am still trippin that i got to throw down some toprock and footwork at the doorstep of DJ Kool Herc!!! This tour made me feel like i was there when all those house parties went down! What a priveledge. What a blessing! I WILL be back to go on the tour again and i will be bringing my entire BBoy Crew from southern California!!! Thank you for a memory that will stay with me forever!!!

Great to see something different from the normal NYC tours, small group made the tour very personal and a lot of great infomation, Grandmaster Caz was a great host on the tour. Well worth doing the tour will be telling friends and family to do the tour when they come to NYC. Many thanks to Grandmaster Caz 10 out of 10

well i just think that the tour itself was fun and i liked it more than the walking tour, but nevertheless it was more for people without or with a veeery little knowledge of hiphop.

Nice trip
Sat, Dec 9, 06   11:30 AM scharne Male 20-29 International Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Trip was nice, Reggie gave a good, short summary of Hip Hop history, and was very friendly and open for questions. We visited an exhibition in the Museum of the City of NY ans walked through Harlem, which was quite impressive. All in all I can recommend that tour, especially for those who are not familiar for Hip Hop culture at all and therefore want to have some insight.
