| I will thoroughly recommend the Hip Hop tour I enjoyed along with 7 others last Friday. Grande Master Caz was a thorough treat to be with for the three hours. He made us all feel very welcome and taught us so much about the social history of New York. We were able to ask questions and to see places we would not normally have seen and put it all into the context of the era and the phenomenon of Hip Hop . He also performed for us . It was the highlight of my trip to the US, Thanks and the food was great too ! | ||||||

| It was a good guide around the town Hip Hop wise, Grandmaster Caz was perfect as a guide through the history of Hip Hop. He's a real entertainer and the perfect man for this type of activity. Nothing but thumbs up for The Hush Hip Hop Tour. | ||||||

| My son and I took this tour after I read about it on line. I'm not a hip hop fan but knew my son listened to it often. We both enjoyed it very much. Me as new to the music and learning to appreciate it's background and importance to it's fans. My son as learning about the history and development of some of his favorite artists. Our tour guide John did a great job and made the walk very interesting. And fun. We agreed that during our next trip to NYC we will take the whole day bus tour and see even more next time. | ||||||

| First off I was really excited about this tour way before it even began. It was also the clincher that brought myself and my friend - another hip hop fan from the early 80's (when it hit the UK in a massive way) over to New York, so I was hoping for a real insight into the roots of hip hop and I wasn't disappointed. Grandmaster Caz is a legend. he lived and breathed hip hop from the very beginning, so I was made up to see him take our tour. He's also got a large personality and he's a funny entertaining guy, so there wasn't a dull moment on the tour and every single one of us were listening to his every word while occasionally asking him questions, which he was happy to answer. He also dropped his rhymes live on the bus, so made it all feel very special. I don't want to give anything away, but I highly recommend this tour if (like us) you lived through the scene and feel a strong bond to it . You love the Beatles...... you go to Liverpool and take the tour. You love Elvis...... you go to Gracelands. You love hip hop. then you need to go to the birthplace of hip hop in New York and take the Hush Tour - with a legend of hip hop. | ||||||

| Meaningful, powerful and REAL experience. 100% recommended. This is more than a tour, its a deep dive into the world of hip-hop, and it will get you stuck off the realness. | ||||||

| I work in NYC and booked this tour when my 20-year old son came to visit. My son likes all music genres but is a big fan of hip hop music. He loved the tour - I think it was the high point of his trip to New York. I went along for the ride, but thoroughly enjoyed the venues, history and music. The 4-hour tour went by quickly. Grand Master Caz (Cold Crush Brothers) and Mighty Mike Cee (Fearless Four) were outstanding guides and did a great job with a very diverse tour group. I enthusiastically recommend this tour if you want to learn more about hip hop and the City neighborhoods where the culture arose. | ||||||

| An excellent tour. Some how they manage to cater to everyone from Hip Hop fans to complete newbies. This really is more than a tour of famous sites and more of a trip for anyone that wants to get out of Manhattan and wants to see where (and how) the rest of New York lives. I took my 14 year old nephew and he had a great time. I will be recommending this to everyone I know that visits the city. | ||||||

| Hey folks, you have already seen the empire state building, 42nd, the statue of liberty, the Met? Allright then the Harlem Walking tour might be just right for you. It brings you back to the roots of Hip Hop. Our tour guide had a lot of Charims, was always open for questions and new A LOT! Explore Harlem and Hip Hop, I would fully recommend this unusual NYC experience. Malko Ebers | ||||||

| Well, What can I say. I am a hip hop "head" from England and was well looking forward to this tour. Me and my girlfriend didn't really know what to expect but were going in the knowledge that we would see some sights that you wouldn't usually see doing usual tourist stuff, and also learn new stuff about Hip Hop. We were'nt disappointed. From start to finish everything about the tour was first class, the way it was run (Hush Tours Stand Up!!!!) company on the coach, the importance and general knowledge learnt from every site, the amount of time taken to explain where we were and how relevant the sites were and just the general overall feel of everything involved in the day. As i said Hush Tours were brilliant in every aspect of the day, and the whole tour for me (and my girlfriend) exceeded our expectations, however special mention needs to go to our tour guide on the day, the amazing JDL (Jerry Dee Lewis) form the pioneering Cold Crush Brothers. He was on point everywhere he took us, describing everything brilliantly and telling us his experiences and insights and what it was like back in the day. His passion and love of Hip Hop was apparent (obviously he was there, and had a big part to play) and it felt like he was loving this as much as we were. He was the perfect tour guide, always willing to answer questions and also willing to have a photo taken. Good lookin' JD!!! Overall, I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone. If you are well into your hip hop, you will fully appreciate everything here (and going to 1520 Sedgewick and meeting a legend is worth it anyway!!!) If you're slightly into hip hop, you get to see where it all started and learn more about the culture from a legend who was there. If you're not into hip hop (why not!? Only kidding!!) this is a chance to not only learn about the essence of an important component of not only American, but also Popular Culture, but also to see parts of New York that you wouldn't neccesarily have otherwise seen, with a great group of people, an excellent tour guide and a well organised friendly company. What are you waiting for....see where it started and where its at!!!!! | ||||||
