| Getting a down-to-earth tour of the suburbs of NYC was just what I was looking for. I you want to get away from the regular tourist-machine and talk to real people that are passionate about what they do, you should try this tour. | ||||||

| MY 18 year old son and I had a great time on the tour. Saw a lot of New York we would not have seen and learned a lot about the history and culture of hip hop. Grand Master Cruz was great - on only 1 hours sleep! The food at the luncheon stop in Harlem was also good. Would recommend highly. | ||||||

A GREAT EXPERIENCE

| This excursion was surprising, and very dope, for me. First, because I can see with my own eyes the Queensbridge projects, original place of rap artists like Nas, Mobb Deep, or Cormega. I could see too Jamaica and South Jamaica, borough of LL Cool J or Onyx, and Hollis, borough of Run DMC. In addition, I was the mural dedicated to Jam Master Jay in Queens. The surprise was too that the driver was: Mickey D, former component of the group Main Source in their second album: "F*** what you think", he remplaced to Large Professor in this album, he put songs very good in the car. The copilot was a man called Mark, or Marcus, I don't know the last name, and he knew many things unknown to the great audience of hip hop. With great gratefulness, Mario Berón Bruna | ||||||

A True Guide to Real Hip-Hop

| If you are a real Hip-Hop fan like myself then you have to check out this tour. The fact that most of the Hip-Hop ended coming from the borough of Queens places like Queenbridge, Hollis, Jamaica it ened up shaping the sound of Hip-Hop for years which makes this an essential tour. With Mikey D (Main Source) as your tour guide he takes you to places they don't advertise on those NY tourist guides. I was luckily enough to roll in Mikey's SUV which gave you a more real feel than being in a big tourist bus. I also got to check out the famous 'Rooney's' barber shop as seen in MTV' show 'The Shop'. As Mikey seems to know everyone he was definitley the right person to roll with. Massive respect to Mikey D, Mark and Debra. Si | ||||||

| I can recommend this tour, but I have to say that I already knew most of the things the tourguide told us before. It's interesting but maybe not deep enough into HipHop culture. So if you want to know about it, read a book. | ||||||

| I thought I knew all about the birth of hip hop, but it turns out I knew little to nothing. That's why I loved this tour; it was educational and entertaining. The vibe was laid back and fun. Our group was quite diverse; Japanese tourists, British hip hop fans, and even visitors from Montana. Our guide, Grand Master Kas, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, funny, and most importantly, he kept it real. I had a friend visiting me from Scotland, who also loved the tour. I would take any of my future out-of-town visitors on this tour, just so that I could go again! It really was that good. Thank you Hush Tours! | ||||||

| My kids and I loved this tour. Raheim and DJ Red Alert were AMAZING guides. They explained the significance of various stops along the way, and gave us first hand information of how it all started. Their enthusiasm and knowledge were awesome. I would recommend this memorable tour to anyone who loves hip hop. | ||||||

The Best Tour in all of New York

| My best time in New York , by far, was being a part of the Hip Hop Tour, Raheim (original member of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five) was the illest tour guide I could ask for. The tour heightened my awareness and love for hip hop, not to mention giving me a glimpse inside a part of New York I might never of seen. If you are a true hip hop head, dont miss this tour ...it's a classic. --NIEVE | ||||||

| Very interesting to hear a hiphop pioneer tell about his own experience and the origins of the culture. But the tour also gives a unique possibility for tourists to get an insight in Harlem and the Bronx, which is not easily done on your own. It would be an important asset to the tour if the stereo or the sound in the bus were of better quality. It would also make the tour a "must" for visitors if it could be combined with a little museum located in Harlem or the Bronx, where pictures/movies could be shown, information given and music played. Keep up the good work, and God bless! | ||||||

| Great tour - both for me and the students. If I could ask for one more thing, I could ask for a little more information on the impact the Hio Hop movement had on the society, | ||||||
