| It was great to be with Grandmaster Caz and a highly international group of attendees. I learned so much and had an awesome time. I was in the city for 7 days and this tour was the best of my entire trip! I totally look at everything with new eyes-graffiti, hip-hop, rap, breaking, everything is different now! Caz is a highly entertaining, charming, friendly, intelligent and informative guide, and the group was really friendly and excited to participate. It was also great to watch everyone breaking in Rucker Park with Mighty Mouse. All in all, in was an honor to spend time with Caz and the group as a whole! |

| The tour was excellent. A faultless history lesson in New York history expertly and enthusiastically told by the legendary Grandmaster Caz sticking to the facts and telling it like it was. Slightly marred by the initial choice of music (nobody want to hear Puff Daddy/P-Diddy/Diddy or LL Cool J past his prime - sticking to the better, non-commercial stuff would have been a far better choice) and the selling of bootleg CDs at the end (especially as this happened directly after Grandmaster Caz's tale of getting denied royalties from Rapper's Delight - a touch hypocritical if you ask me). These minor gripes aside, this is highly recommended especaially if Grandmaster Caz is your guide on the day. |

| I went with a 15 year old boy - and think I had more fun than he did. We learned all about the origins of hip hop (and I learned what the four legs of the hip hop table are) as well as visited important geographic sites in the hip hop world. I even got to learn some beat boying moves! (Now that I know what beat-boying is...).Lunch was at a soul food buffet with classics for the picky (mac and cheese) as well as soul food specialties for the more adventurous - like collard greens. Music accompanied throughout added atmosphere and helped set the tone. Lecture tour throughout as well - with stories, history, anecdotes and a bit of rapping (oops, I mean emceeing). Nice mix of on and off the bus experience. |

| I heard about the tour from a friend who lives in DC and had come to NYC specifically to take her family (w/ children) on the tour recently. My husband and I live in Manhattan and didn't even know about the tour. My husband is really into music and occasionally DJ's for private parties. I got the tickets as a surprise for him and we both loved it. It was fun and really interesting - a great day. Grandmaster Caz was the best guide you could ask for - he's a Hip Hop legend. It was really an insider's tour, and it was well done and professional . The food was great as well.
We had a great group of people on the tour from all over the world - all different ages and backgrounds. There was a mother with her teenage son who learned some dance moves from a professional beboyer (breakdancer). One guy from the tour group actually had a dance off with the professional dancer. Grandmaster Caz did some MCing of his own songs and some freestyling too. Then two guys from the group both stood up and did their own freestyle rap. It was the real deal. |

| I thought the tour was fun and informative. My husband and I are huge Hip Hop fans so this was a great way to spend the afternoon. We did have a couple of suggestions to make the tour look more professional. The speaker box that was used could be update and of better quality, it kept blinking in and out. The explaination of hip hop was great but we would have like to hear and see more relevant facts regarding hip hop and its relevance to NYC.
We thought that they could put the Hush Tour sign on an A-frame so it would be easier to display and take with them during the tour rather then trying to hook it up to the door (which was rolled up while were there) or hooked to a fence in the park.
It would have been nice to be given some time at the graffity wall to take pictures rather then running after the group and having to miss the speakers remarks to take them.
I realize the tour is regarding the history of rap starting with it's pioneers but I think it would be of value to show the connection of how those individuals influenced modern day rappers or show some connections through time, from one generation to the next. sort of a 6 degrees of seperation thing.
Those are my suggestions.
Thanks for a great day. |

| Being from the Canadian Prairies I wanted to see some Hip Hop landmarks while visiting NYC but I was not sure how to go about it. As I surfed the net I came across Hush Tours and immediately booked a Hip Hop Tour. The tour could not have been better. The 4 hour tour flew by as we ventured through areas of Manhattan, Harlem and the Bronx checking out various culturally important sites.
Our "Hip Hop Legends Tour" included the delightful and modest Reggie Reg from the legendary Crash Crew. Other legends came along for the ride as well. Grandmaster Mele Mel from Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five and Easy Mo Bee were also on the bus. We also has the president of the Sedgwick & Cedar clothing line in our attendance.
Reggie Reg was a fantastic host and described the history and culture of Hip Hop well. My wife, who doesn't know as much as I do about Hip Hop, found the tour to be very informative. I also learned knew details that I did not know about before. Mele Mel was hilarious on the tour and always had something to say. The bus was treated to a mini-concert as Mele Mel played emcee and performed "The Message" to us. Amazing!
I highly recommend this tour because this is the best chance to meet some real Hip Hop artists and to understand the whole Hip Hop culture and it's history in NYC. This tour is equally entertaining for Hip Hop heads and people who would like to learn about Hip Hop.
I would go again if I visited New York City just to see who I might get a chance to meet.

| We are a couple from Austria and did the tour as part of our ten days New York stay. Grandmaster Caz really made an effort to convey what hip hop was about in the early days.
So if you want to get an idea of the locations and people that created the hip hop culture in new york in the late 70 s this is probably he best tour you can get.
You also get to see some parts of the city most other tours would not get you to. (Spanish Harlem, Bronx, the Lennox / 125th corner in harlem,...)
We considered it an important part of the cities culture one should not miss.
After all you cant ask Chagal what his paintings meant in the Museum of modern Art, but you can ask Grandmaster Caz. So get there and do so!
Very entertaining and informative! |

| All I can say is this was the best tour I have been on!!! Our guide was Grandmaster Caz....what more do I have to say??!!! Caz was cool, down to earth, entertaining and informative. Even with the hectic traffic and detours due to the Mets/Yank game we still enjoyed ourselves completely. Also helping guide was Madness....he was bananas!!! Loved every bit of it. Lunch set it off too...delicious!! This was a wonderful way to bring our vacation to an end!!
Much Luv,
