| Honestly - even if you do not have a mild interest in Hip Hop and are just visiting New York then you NEED to spend 4 hours of your trip on this tour - the history and cultural insight that you learn are what goes towards making New York the place that it is today. Forgot the modern day stereotypes, the tour which was led by Grandmaster Caz (to describe him as knowledgeable is a vast understatement, as he was there at the beginning of hip hop and so I guess he is the knowledge - the spark that created the fire back in the 1970s) tours Harlem, the Bronx and visits key locations that have constituted towards the hip hop "movement". Caz was charismatic and insightful and above all else enthusiastic to be sharing his experience with the group. You even get to sample some delightful Soul Food at lunch (I recommend the Jerk Chicken - spicy). On the coach, Caz's narrative is broken up with samples of groundbreaking records of the early era and various video clips - including one of the man himself with a massive afro and an over the top stage outfit - hilarious! ;-) There is so much more to it and overall I was just privledged to have been a part of the tour. Just make sure you listen carefully to where you can pick up some Sedgewick & Cedar clothing that Caz is now a part of. Book up this tour now! |

| Even if you think you know everything there is to know about HipHop, you'll still learn from these guys. We were lucky enough to have Grandmaster Caz and Reggie Reg as our guides. We had such a good day stopping off at famous landmarks, learning all you need to know about the roots of Hip Hop and visiting Harlem and the Bronx.
Live entertainment too .....the lot in four hours!!! |

| The tour was an authentic one with wonderful tour guides (what's up Caz and Reg!!) that kept the tour exciting and fun. I got to see parts of NY that I otherwise would not have gone to, and got to learn the history and stories behind where it all started. The four hours that the tour lasted were just not enough. Nobody wanted it to end. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that loves hip hop, wants to learn about hip hop, or anybody that just wants to have a good time! |

| I thought I knew all about the birth of hip hop, but it turns out I knew little to nothing. That's why I loved this tour; it was educational and entertaining. The vibe was laid back and fun. Our group was quite diverse; Japanese tourists, British hip hop fans, and even visitors from Montana. Our guide, Grand Master Kas, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, funny, and most importantly, he kept it real.
I had a friend visiting me from Scotland, who also loved the tour. I would take any of my future out-of-town visitors on this tour, just so that I could go again! It really was that good.
Thank you Hush Tours! |

| The Hip Hop Tour was excellent and I recommend it to anyone that will be making a trip to New York. The tour provided you with an indebt history of not only Hip Hop, but the Black History of New York. Caz, our tour guide was excellent and enthusiastic. The Hip Hop tour was one of the major highlights of my trip. The additional members of my group stated that they were glad that I chose this tour as one of our activities.
We were also very lucky, because we were able, to tour the Apollo, which was not on our schedule, and there was also a gentlemen on the tour who conducts, some of the major tours of New York. Therefore we received some additional information on landmarks, great places to shop, and locations on where to buy discount Broadway tickets.
I felt like for the money we paid, we received three tours in one, and it was well worth the money.
The only negative thing that I would say about the tour is lunch. I think that the website should state, that, "Although we do stop for lunch it is not included in the tour, and you must have cash."
Besides lunch, everything was great.
Thank You :)

| The Hip Hop tour was very knowledgeable, interesting and extermely fun. The comentator "CAZ" was the bomb and nontheless Deborah we really do appreciate you waiting on us due to the Dumb taxi driver. I will most definetly take the tour again. My people the tour is well worth your money not only is it fun it's a learning tour of our roots back in the day when Hip Hop started and you will also get a chance to see some memorable landmarks. Caz don't leave the hats at home next time!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha :) |

| We had a blast. I would recommend that the person waiting for us at the p/u spot have a printed sign or badge on with the tour name. When we got to the spot we didn't know if we were at the right place and approach a couple people before we got to the right person. Also, our tour was on 7/1/06. I had my confirmation but was not on the list. There was no problem we were welcomed on the tour. The information was very informative and the time on the bus was filled with music, fun, and hip hop trivia. The stops were interesting. We had a problem getting to the Bronx due to a baseball game. Prior planning could have allowed for another route to be taken. We spend a lot of time sitting in traffic. It was also a little disappointing that we had to return the "bling bling". It would have been a nice souvenir. The food was good and allowed for the foreigners to experience "soul food". Keep up the good work. I would recommend the tour to others that visit NY. |

| It was very informative and at the same time lively - it was nice to get to know the narrators on a personal level. We got to see every hidden corner of Harlem and the true roots of hip hop which made you really appreciate it to it's fullest and get behind the whole movement. Lunch is fantastic! I didnt feel like I needed to eat again for a whole week, the food was that good - real soul food! Stops on the tour included the Graffiti Hall of Fame which oozed vibrance and character, Rucker Park where a few of us shot hoops!,The Walk of fame in the Bronx...awesome. Interaction was great and everyone was involved. Definately is a must do if visiting New York. |

| Most viewing is done from within the bus (not a luxury bus as stated) and too many insignificant pieces of information. Would expect a proper soul food restaurant rather than an "all you can eat "type for $ 4.99 |
