| I was a little hesitant at first to order tickets for the Hip Hop tour with Hush Tours; but they provided great directions and it was so easy to print up the tickets. The tour was awesome! I learned so much about Hip Hop, and love it even more now than ever. It is one of the greatest highlights of our first trip to New York from Hawaii. I highly recommend it! |

| I thought this tour would hit a few hip hop highlights, teach me a few things, but it went way beyond that. It renewed my love for NYC and the old school scene. Raheim from Grandmaster Flash had a lot of insight and wasn't afraid to get controversial. There was a whole lot of love on our tour bus -- the leaders totally encouraged the budding rapper and b-boy in our group to share their talents. This is a tour company with heart and a lot of respect for its customers. Whether you are a hip-hop know-it-all or just curious about a fundamental part of what makes this city great, you should go on this tour. |

| The guy who lead the tour on Friday, October 31 was a faded out hip hop star,
he really didnot give much information on the subject. People on the bus seemed
to know more about the subject then he did. He kept getting off the subject. He
really needs to bone up on the subject. Aslo most people are not interested in
his personal political opinions. He really didn't make too much sense.
The raps he shared with us were good. But really I think he need to tell us moreabout the whole culture of HIP HOP.
Tour was not worth the price. |

| For someone who discover for the first time NY, Hip Hop Tour should be a part of the complete experience. Nowadays you cannot define New York city style without Hip Hop Culture. Cannot ignore it, or maybe if you go there exclusively for shopping... hahaha. How you could discover on your own the spots, how you could find out THE places, who else should guide you better than the one who made history? Those are only few reasons for taking the Hip Hop Tour. I enjoyed a lot those hours, and now I regret a lot for didn't have enough time to know you guys better. Congratulations for a very good ideea and for your generosity to share with us your experience. So: Suzi loves Hip Hop! Thank you all, THANK YOU Grandmaster Caz!

| It was something I could enjoy with my children. I enjoyed the on/off bus breaks... Participant involvement was a nice touch. I especially enjoyed the stop by the Nike tribute to Men's Basketball while in Harlem. My children who are bb enthusiasts also enjoyed that quick break. Caz was entertaining; as well as a turn off. The group and their questions also add to the tour, along with attendee’s personal experiences. I would do the tour again with a new group. It would be good at the beginning of one’s visit to NYC to set the tone for other excursions while in NYC. Lunch was the best food I had while in NYC, with much variety; being a diabetic I appreciated the lunch stop. A give-a-way would add to the tour! |

| 1. Too long for what it contained.
2. Although we enjoyed the food very much the restaurant did not have enough seating and we ended up eating our food while sitting outside on the ground/sidewalk in front of a boarded up storefront.
3. VERY disappointed that all we saw of the Apollo was a 5 second stop out front. The Apollo was highlighted in the description of the tour so I assumed there would be more emphasis on it.
4. Curious why no mention was made of the band "Queen" as the beat of "Rapper's Delight" is eerily similiar to "Another One Bites the Dust" and the song that Grand Master Caz was singing "We are the champions" is also a Queen song.
5. More actual hip hop music on the tour would be good.
6. The info on Graffiti was great. It is an incredible art form! Would have liked to see more authentic graffiti rather than what seemed like "staged" graffiti outside of the school. (Did those artists get paid?)
7. The tour started off really well with the breakdancing. It got the tourists involved and hyped about what was to come. Could use more tourist involvement thorughout. You need to sustain the interests of the youth ( and their parents) who have short attention spans.
8. The four pillars (legs) of hip hop was a wonderful way to set up the tour but it seemed to not go anywhere. Could you have the tourists try out some authentic equipment at a stop in the Bronx as a hand's on experience of one of the legs? I think the four legs has a lot of potential because everyone can undersatnd the analogy/metaphor, but its potential needs to be explored as an easily accessible construct to which people can apply what they learn, it all just needs to be more explicit. |
