This tour was fun and I learned a tremendous amount not just about hip hop, but about boroughs that tourists normally don't visit. Gransmaster Caz was our tour guide and not only is he talented at all things hip hop, he's funny and really fun to hang out with throughout the tour! These guys really are the pioneers of hip hop so you get the ground floor story about the beginnings of hip hop. Did you know hip hop started with a party?!??! pretty sweet and you get to see where that party happened!

Seriously, if you're into to Hip Hop you have to go on this tour, but even if you're not, you should go anyway and learn loads of cool stuff! We went with friends who're not that into Hip Hop and they loved the tour. Really interesting, even if you know a lot about hip hop, you're garanteed to see or hear something on this tour that you would probably never get to see otherwise. Thanks Grand Master Caz!

My intentions for participating on this tour were to expose my family to everything that I always talked about and to put visuals with stories I'd heard or things I'd read. I didn't actually expect to learn very many new things, but I learned SO much. My mother (in her sixties) enjoyed everything also. Although, she wasn't raised in a community where hip hop was, she understood the stories of the discos and the funk and the jazz that contributed to hip hop. She also learned quite a bit about the culture. Being in North Carolina and only hearing radio rap, the tour opened her eyes to many more aspects of hip hop. My sister also went. She enjoyed everything quite a bit and learned a lot. She absorbed more of the graffiti art/breakdancing elements and on this tour, there was a lot directed towards the two. Grandmaster Caz is a phenomenal person and I would recommend this for anyone. There's so much that everyone can get out of it.

This is an awesome tour, i thought i knew a lot about hip hop before this tour, but i knew nothing. I learned so much about the history of hip hop where it grew from and all of this was from the guys that were there when it started. Grandmaster Cas was an awesome host, his personal insight was great, he was entertaining, answered so many questions and we loved his live performance!

The tour was excellent. Caz is an amazing tourguide, providing you indepth information on how hiphop got started mixing it with a good dosis of humor. It's a true honor to have been able to hear this all from one of the great pioneers of hiphop. I just got back to the Netherlands (my home country) and this experience left with me with a unique story to tell of my own.

My family and I enjoyed this tour so much we look forward to our next family vacation to New York so we can enjoy some of the other ones Hush Tours provides. Grandmaster Caz was the icing on the cake for a unforgettable hip-hop tour like this. Being one of the pioneers of hip-hop, Grandmaster Caz's knowledge and real life experiences exuded his love of the culture in his interaction with the people on the tour bus. He provided a great setting for all walks of life regardless if you knew a thing about hip-hop or who the people he was telling you about. Stopping at some of the starting points and corner stones of hip-hops heartbeat was educational and exhilerating. To be somewhere where great things were created and shared with many generations was inspiring and moving. The Graffiti Wall of Fame and The Bronx Walk of Fame were some of the great highlights of the tour, as was 1520 Sedgwick Ave. We recommend this tour for those who love hip-hop or anyone who wants to learn more about it.

My boyfriend and I took this tour with Grandmaster Caz on our last day in New York. He was a great tour guide and it was fun to learn about the beginnings of hip-hop from a person who was there. I especially liked the Bronx Walk of Fame, the Graffiti Wall, and the performance at the end. I used to live in NY, but had never gone to Harlem or the Bronx on my own. I would definitely go on this tour again and take friends and family!

Fun tour guide and many interesting places to visit. The soul food restaurant where the lunch stop takes one is great. Then Bronx part could have been larger, though, and the price of the tour is quite high. However, great way of seeing those corners of New York a regular tourist itinerary usually doesn't take you! And of course, lots to learn about Hip Hop...

As a fan of hip hop this is something that everyone needs to do. Just the fact that you can spend a few hours with a hip hop legend is well worth it. Grand Master Caz was awesome and provided the coolest information ever. The places we went were great and was sort of like a pilgrimage. Even if you think you know everything there is to know about hip hop history, you will be surprised some stuff you don't know AND you actually go to specific spots that you have always read/heard about....goodtimes fo sho!
