| My sister (same age), myself, and my nephew (13) took this tour on May 12, 2007. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. We travel quite a bit and have taken many tours in many different cities, including other tours in New York. We were impressed with this tour and the Pioneer of our journey -- Grandmaster Caz. He provided musical history accompanied by relevant audio (at the aid of his assistant) through the speakers of the bus. Growing up in that error and in The Bronx gave me and my sister an advantage over the other passengers. We found ourselves playing name that tune in the first 4 seconds of each song played. GM Caz was passionate about hip-hop and making sure our group understood the importance of it, from its early beginnings to current day. My sister and I were born in Harlem and grew up in The Bronx. Telling my nephew about how it was for us growing up was not enough. Before this tour, you could actually see him roll his eyes when a sampled song came on the radio that we already knew, but an upcoming artist decided to rap on top of the old track. Hearing it from GM Caz made it relevant to him and now we finally have the credibility we deserve -- thanks GM Caz. I loved that the bus started in mid-town and went to Harlem and then The Bronx, and back. The stop off for lunch at Manna's was at the appropriate time. The timing of the entire trip was perfect. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has ever questioned the importance of hip-hop in our culture and lives. We will probably do this tour again on another trip to New York and take the Walk this Way tour in hopes of getting a different Pioneering Legend for his/her perspective. |

| The items given to us should have been ours to keep rather than having to give them back at the end of the tour. It would have been a nice gift as part of the tour.
Also, the restaurant didn't accept credit cards, debit cards or checks....just cash. People should know this in advance so they could bring cash. We had just enough cash to eat a small lunch. If we would have know ahead of time we would have had more cash with us. |

| The tour was great! I learned a lot and I consider myself someone with a decent knowledge of hip-hop. Our tour guide was so into it all, it made the tour!! It was a great family outing and we now have a few extra bits of information about Hip Hop and New York. |

| I loved the tour. I really got a great insight into the culture of hip hop, I thought I knew a lot already but learnt so much more from Caz. He was an entertaining guide.
Really enjoyed his impromptu performance on the bus and also the b-boying performance at Ruckers Park.
My only negative comments would be that we spent a large time in the bus, I would have liked to see more sights and also I would have liked to spend more time in the Bronx as the majority of the tour focuses on Harlem.
But still, highly recommended! |

| I am in agreement with most all of the reviews but would like to stress how great this was for my 13, 15 and 20 year old boys. They thought it was "hella tight" and posted their pics on myspace right when we got back. The history was interesting and this is something to do that not everyone has heard about so it makes it even more special. Thanks for a great time! |

| Went on this tour with my two sons aged 18 and 16 expecting just to go along for the ride. I was pleasantly surprised as Grandmaster Caz tok us all back to the days when hip-hop began. It was quite an education for all of us and I would recomend it highly to anyone with an interest in the roots of hip-hop and the new rap artists! |
