| Our family which included parents in their 40's and our three teenagers had been to
New York several times and try to do something different each time we visit the city.
We are from the Midwest. Found the Hip Hop tour while visiting a New York City website with a link to "Teen Scene in NYC". All of us thoroughly enjoyed the hip hop tour. The history, sightseeing around Harlem, the soul food lunch, the historical stops the tour made and of course our host, Master Caz right on the bus jammin was very cool.
Our teenagers did not know what to expect and absolutely loved the tour and the time
flew by! To be honest, us parents really didn't know much about the origin of the hip hop movement and it was fascinating and entertaining. Highly recommended for anyone who likes adventures a bit out of the box. |

| It was an untraditional look at New York City. Not everyone wants to see Times Square and the Empire State Building. New York city created the hip-hop culture and that deserved recognition! The food was excellent!!! |

| Fun and different tour where I learned alot about Hip Hop culture and shared the experience with my 19 yr. old son. It was interesting to see and hear about other parts of New York since my tourist experiences have been pretty much limited to Manhatten - theatre, dance, restaurants and shopping.
Grand Master Caz was charming, engaging and informative. Even the range of diversity of the other tour goers was interesting. I thought the tour was well organized although could maybe be compressed into a little shorter time span, but maybe not considering the miles covered.
I would particularly recommend this tour to families with children ages 12 and older since it is more challenging to find activites that both parents and teenagers can enjoy together.
Lunch was great! |

| I went on this tour with my Mom and brother and sister. We had no idea of what to expect...then Kurtis Blow walks on the bus! It was great to learn all the history of rap and to see some of the places I had heard about. The taping at the Apollo was the best part and the grafitti wall. They could have played more music on the bus.... |

| This was my first time in NYC but it will definitely not be my last.
The tour was great! It gives you an inside look of the start of Hip Hop. Kurtis Blow was my tour guide and did a wonderful job telling the hip hop history and linking it to the sites along the tour. The tour also gives you a chance to see Harlem and Bronx. I recommend this to the "old and new school" hip hop fans. |

| My wife and I took our two teenage sons on the tour when we were on holiday in New York. We had expected to endure the tour rather than enjoy it. The opposite was certainly the case. The day we went it was very very cold. New york was just getting over it's biggest ever single snow fall. The warmth of the greeting we received along with the burning enthusiasm made sure it was all worthwhile.
The guides, Rahiem and Red Alert gave us a lot of good information with passion and humour. There was loads of interaction with us. I was personaly struck by the fact that neither of these guys needed to be there. It was not a chore for them. They were obviously keen to impart their love of Hip-Hop and Rap to a wider audience.
The highlights for me were the performance on the bus by Rahiem and the meal in the very good restaurant in Harlem. The boys loved it all.
There are only two small points I would like to make that might improve things slightly: firstly it may be an idea to forget the hat and bling, give them to the guests to keep, or at least let them know when they are given out that they are only on loan. The other thing is that I'm sure an arrangement could be made to allow the tour guides to get a key for the graffiti wall, particularly as this tour promotes such a positive image of the art.

| My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the hip hop tour. We were greeted warmly and the day proceeded from there. Rafim did two amazing "raps" that made it clear to me that hip hop is clearly poetry to a beat. The group was an interesting mix all fun to be with. We found the tour to be educational and just plain fun. Be prepared that a lot of the places that hip hop originated have changed hands through the years, but we were still given the information to allow us to understand hip hop culture from its origins. We recommend it highly. |

| My kids and I loved this tour. Raheim and DJ Red Alert were AMAZING guides. They explained the significance of various stops along the way, and gave us first hand information of how it all started. Their enthusiasm and knowledge were awesome.
I would recommend this memorable tour to anyone who loves hip hop. |
