| I have been into Hip Hop since the late 80's - among loads of other musical styles and was looking very much forward to this tour (after being told about it by a friend who did it a few years back).
I was on the tour with my wife (whom is not THAT into hip hop), but we both learned so much! Not only about Hip Hop and the origins, but also about American history (although it might "only" be 30 year old history)
We were fully entertained throughout the entire trip! Grandmaster Cas was the perfect host for this. Friendly, witty, knowledgeable and fresh!
I have a few friends that will be going to New York and this tour will be highly recommended! |

| Despite long times on the bus and spending the last quarter of the 4 hours tour for lunch break and driving back to manhattan , i can recommend that off the beaten path experience, especially if you are into hip hop. Caz is such an charismatic and authentic guide that you should do this tour just listen to his involvement into the rap game which is by the way also one of the best introduction to the early days of hip hop out there. his storytelling alongside the sights made this to one of the most memorable experience of my nyc adventure. enjoy! |

| I highly recommend Hush Tours NYC, if you are looking for a guided cultural tour with a difference. If you have time, you may want to consider at least two tours. I booked this tour using the online booking system, as I am from Australia. Hush Tours is not the run of the mill guided tour. It is much more and you are bound to learn something new, even if you are an avid hip-hop fanatic and expert yourself. I found the company to be prepared, on time, upbeat and host Grandmaster Caz is a natural talent, who will ensure you are guided tour an interactive experience of his backyard, NYC. I toured in Aug 2009. It is a positive experience. |

| Well, I was really disappointed since the focus of the tour was so narrow and there was no information about political reasons that started Hip Hop. It was just a tour in a bus showing us the house where the first "hip hop party" took place and a short drive through Harlem to show us an area used in some old movies, but nothing about the real start of hip hop.
So, in my opinion it was kind of a rip-off and nothing to really inform about the beginning of Hip Hop. Moreover, Caz just happened to be bragging about his involvement in the birth of Hip Hop and nothing more. |

| This tour was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in New York. Our tour guide, grand master Caz with his big personality and his legendary status within the realms of Hip hop made this tour interesting, fun and equally accessible to those with an interest in the music and those with little or no knowledge. The tour takes you through Harlem and the Bronx, both areas that have to be experienced if you want to get a real flavour of the city . Overall, this 4 hour tour is packed with historical information about hip hop with visits to significant sites, guided by a legend who shares his incredible memories and experiences of the birth of the music. It was a true priviledge to be in his company and we left feeling that it was the real deal. We would like to extend a big thanks to Hush tours for providing what has been an excellent experience. |

| The guy (grandmastercash...or something) was a sort of celebrity in new york's hip hop world. He knew lots of rappers and lots of significant places and he was funy too! There was a nice and relaxed atmosphere in the bus and there was also some cool old school rap.
The cons are: The bus was old and without air conditioning. They sold to many tickets so that there wasnt enough space for all of us. At the end of the tour we all stopped in a restaurant/take away......crowded, dirty and, because we were running out of time, we had to eat in the boiling hot bus!
In the end the tour made a good impression...try it! |

| This is the best tour I have ever been on; the rise of hip-hop delivered with great social/political context, and lots of fun surprises. |
