| I had a blast on this tour. It took me around NYC to places that I hadn't been, harlem and the bronx. Grandmaster Caz was an awesome guide, friendly and full of knowledge. We saw a b boy do some dancing for us, the graffiti hall of fame, the place of the first hip hop party, etc. |

| Rap is something you do. Hip Hop is something you live. This tour highlights and explorers the origins and history of this essential culture in a extremely thorough fashion. I would recommend it to any Hip Hop Head.

| Raheem was an excellent guide - he really knew his stuff, the boom box with "The Message" blaring out down the street was a nice touch. The tour was relaxed, but very informative and we learnt a lot about Harlem and the Bronx -so I would recommend this tour for anyone and not just Hip Hop heads! We were in NYC on our honeymoon and I have to say that this tour really was the icing on the cake!

| Muslims go to Mecca, Jews to Jerusalem. For a hip-hopper, there is a pilgrimage too. It's with Hush Tours with Grandmaster Caz, bussing through New York, hitting ever rap landmark there is. I spent 9 days in New York and this was the highlight of it all. |

| Me and my girlfriend were happy to know that Grandmaster Caz was taking our tour. He is a living testament to what real hip hop stands for, his knowledge, enthusiasm and love for it show throughout and he's not bad at a rap or two. We really enjoyed the tour around Harlem and The Bronx although I would have liked to have seen a little more of the areas of The Bronx if there was more time available.
B-Boy Mighty Mouse came across as a warm character and did us a few moves and explained his love and knowledge of breaking.
We saw some nice graff pieces in Spanish Harlem in the school yard and we managed to get a few snaps including a group one with Caz.
The visit to 1520 Sedgwick Avenue where the first hip hop party started in '73 was good to see although it was different to what I expected but it was still good to be there.
The food stop at the soul food cafe was nice, a good selection of everything you could think of to pile into a tray and fill your belly with.
I would strongly recommend this tour as it was a good overall view of where things started in the early days of hip hop and a broad view of things in general over the years by someone who has been there since it started.
Peace to Caz, he's ace! |

| I attended the tour in September and I must say it was more than worth it. The tour was hosted by Grandmaster Caz who gave truly an indepth look in the history of Hip Hop. For me as a more new school guy (as I was born 1976) it was quite intersting to see all the places where it all started. Additionaly Caz could tell you everything first hand since he lived and still lives Hip Hop from the early beginning.
So in all it was a great day and I can just recommend it to everyone who loves and lives Hip Hop or is just interested in this culture. Its really worth the money and time and you will make a great experience.
Keep up the good work Hush Tours!
Best wishes from CGN (Germany).....Andy
P.S. When are you going to offer the BK tour on a more regular basis? |

| My girlfriend and I were on vacation in New York from the UK. I was just 12 years old when I first experienced Hip Hop in 1983 (you can do the maths yourselves! ;-) In the 25 years since, I've been steeped in Hip Hop culture, a fan, follower, and participant in all elements of the culture over the years. I'm well-read in the history and foundations of the Hip Hop, so for me, this tour was the most anticipated highlight of my week-long vacation in NYC - it didn't disappoint!
Not wanting to sound over-dramatic, the tour was an almost spiritual experience for me - visiting the key landmarks of Hip Hop's formative years, was a dream realised! Our host, Grandmaster Caz was a total star - his enduring passion for the culture was sincere and incredibly informative, documenting the birth of Hip Hop in the wider context of life in 1970's New York. It would be wrong to list the specific highlights of this tour here (I actually avoided the reviews before I booked, for fear of reading any 'spoilers'!) Suffice to say the tour was a fantastic experience, well-organised, educational, very 'interactive' with many surprises along the way! Highly recommended! |
