| While you're patiently waiting for the time machine to be invented, the Hip Hop Tour Led by Pioneers of Rap is the only way you can experience hip-hop history first hand! Being in NYC and not hopping on the Hush Tour bus is like going to Florence and not going to see the Uffizi! If you are a hip-hop fan, or are just curious, just DO NOT miss it! |

| I was a little hesitant at first to order tickets for the Hip Hop tour with Hush Tours; but they provided great directions and it was so easy to print up the tickets. The tour was awesome! I learned so much about Hip Hop, and love it even more now than ever. It is one of the greatest highlights of our first trip to New York from Hawaii. I highly recommend it! |

| It was great to meet a legend Grandmaster Caz, he was very enthusiastic, entertaining and had a vast insight to the history of Hip Hop. It was good to visit places like Bronx and Harlem which as tourist you are generally put off visiting. This tour made you feel quite safe going to these areas and highlighted the transformation that has taken place. Time flew by on the tour and you felt like you wanted it to last longer. Our 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son really enjoyed it; their best part was wearing the bling and the kangol hats. Visiting Rucker Park & the Graffiti Hall Of Fame was of special interest to my husband. For my 19 year old nephew, the soul food at the restaurant was the highlight of the tour. Great value for money and would recommend it to anyone visiting NYC with an interest in Hip Hop.

| MY 18 year old son and I had a great time on the tour. Saw a lot of New York we would not have seen and learned a lot about the history and culture of hip hop. Grand Master Cruz was great - on only 1 hours sleep! The food at the luncheon stop in Harlem was also good. Would recommend highly. |

| Grandmaster Cas is a great tour guide and Hip-Hop historian. My wife and I booked several tours while in New York, however, this Hip-Hop tour was by FAR the BEST!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, it should be a requirement for all who are interested in Hip-Hop. The city of New York has and continues to benefit from Hip-Hop. The least it can do is mark the historic sites which are visited during this tour. AWESOME! AWESOME and MORE AWESOME! If you are reading this and think that it may have been posted by someone who works for this tour, your are WRONG!!!!! I am a regular person who traveled from the South who experienced this fantastic tour. I have not had the chance to see the other tour guides in actions, I have witnessed Cas and he is excellent. |

| Really enjoyed the tour. Grandmaster Caz is amazing and very entertaining with his stories and experiences. He definitely exudes sincerity about hip hop culture. I come to New York often, but saw some places I've been meaning to check out. Now, I'll definitely go on my own. The lunch spot (Jacob's Restaurant) was an excellent choice. Thanks for a very entertaining tour. |

| We went on the Hip Hop Tour conducted by Grandmaster Caz on 3/31. Very informative and fun! I think what people may overlook about the tour is that is may give you an opportunity to see other parts of the city that you would overlook if you concentrated only on midtown. Also, the lunch place has really great food. Highly recommended |

| When coming to New York for the first time I had two major goals to achieve, next to just getting to know New York better:
1. Buy sneakers
2. Learn about the roots of HipHop
The Hush Hip Hop tour definitely made me achieve the second goal. We did the Harlem and Bronx tour, with Grandmaster Caz as our tourguide. This man is GREAT! The way he told the story of the early days was just perfect. We were shown different important places and (and this was maybe the highlight of the tour), the place where the first HipHop party ever was given. Cool Herc's place. The place where HipHop started.
For anyone interested in HipHop and/or in Harlem and the Bronx, you definitely need to do this tour. A visit to these two boroughs is mandatory if you want a complete experience of New York. Don't just stay in "save" Manhattan!
If you're looking for some cool sneakerstores, keep your pen and pad ready, cause you need to write down some of the streets you pass. You don't have the change to get off and check out the stores, but after the tour you know where you should head next ;-)
But really. If you want to know more about what happened in the past, as far as HipHop is concerned, do this tour! I know I will do another Hush tour when I come back to New York. Fo sho!
CAZ! You da man. Thanks again for the experience! |
