Excellent tour around the birthplaces of hip hop. I especially loved the breakdancing introduction, the Big L memorial, and the Graffiti hall of fame. Good times!

My family and I are so glad we decided to take this tour. Grandmaster Caz and Chief 69 were great hosts. If you really want to get up close and personal with the roots of Hip Hop, this tour is a must! GM Caz takes you back to where it all began, he is the prototypical showman and host. His tribute to our 'lost' rappers has to be experienced, he really moved all of us with his performance. Most people would never venture into the areas highlighted on this tour, and most definitely even if you DID, you would not know where to look and what its all about. Trust me, put your faith in Hush Tours, and let them do what they do best. For sure, the next time we are in NYC we will be taking tours with them. Thank you so much guys, we will treasure our time with you all.

Grandmaster Caz was my host and he got everything off to a lively start. He involved the audience a lot early on, which broke the ice amongst the bus full of strangers. There was a live demonstration of break-dancing and some of our group volunteered to join in. We saw the homes of some of the originators of hiphop and some of the locations where the early hiphop venues were. I think that Caz made the tour. He is very knowledgeable about the history and has seen everything first hand from the beginning. He is approachable and tries to answer everyone's questions. He even added a few comments not related to hiphop, such as how Harlem was changing. I'm giving the tour four stars rather than five because I feel that it lost the flow towards the end. It got off to an exciting start with the breakdancing, and Caz was showing us how graffiti and breakdancing are doing today as well as how they started in the past. Towards the end of the tour, we were spending a lot of time on the bus and were stopping for only a few minutes at each site. I liked how Caz rapped for us on the bus, but I felt that the early buzz had worn off a bit by the time that we went for lunch.

This was a great tour of the original NYC Hip Hop scene. The tour was led by Grandmaster Cas one of the pioneers of hip hop. The Bronx / Harlem tour went to alot of places that a normal tourist would never go. It is perfect for an "out of towner" that wants to see more than the Times Square area. I definitely recomend this tour.

My boyfriend and I were on holiday from Australia. It was our first time in New York. We both love Hip Hop music and thought the tour would be a lot of fun. Chief 69 met us at our pick up point and he greeted us for the tour. He has a great knowledge of the hip hop culture and was a friendly guy. Raheem was our tour guide and did a great job. He was entertaining. This tour gives you an insight into a Iand often undiscovered side of NYC. Seeing the Bronx and Harlem was brilliant. We bumped into Doug E Fresh at the Apollo which made my boyfriends day!!! If you are looking to do a tour that is a bit out of the norm give this one a go. The team at Hush Tours will not disappoint!!!

Raheem, well-known from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, is the best tour guide you can get. Full of knowledge, witty and showing his skills on the bus, he takes you to the places where it all began. From the official birth place of hiphop 1540 Sedgwick Avenue to the graffitti wall of fame and the Apollo Theatre. Hush Hiphop Tours is an absolute must-do for everyone with hiphop running through their vains!

I loved this tour!! To start with, you're shown some iconic places and landmarks in Hip Hop history, not just by a tour guide but by (on my tour) an absolute hero of my mine..The LEGENDARY Raheim of The Furious Five.... If anyone can give an honest insight to what happened in The Bronx back then, who better? We were shown locations of interest from recent Hip Hop events as well as important venues of the early days like the building on 167th St which once was The Disco Fever, areas where artists like Doug E Fresh live and finishing of with THE most important....1520 Sedgwick Avenue, where it all began with the legendary Kool Herc parties. This tour was an awesome experience for a Hip Hop old-timer like me and Raheim finished off with an impromptu performance of The Message. A really nice dude and the perfect way to end a 4-month trip around the world. GIVE IT UP FOR RAHEIM!!!
