| Joe is a great entertainer. His charm is witty and he his slight of hand is astounding. He often leaves you with the question, “How did he do that?” But if he told you it would not be “Magic”. |

| Joe was entertaining, funny, skilled and handled himself with all the poise and panache of a seasoned professional. Objects appearing and disappearing, reading people's minds, solid objects passing through solid objects... WOW! I was amazed! The audience howled with laughter and gasped in wonder over and over again throughout the entire show.
Joe's magic was spellbinding and his connection with the audience was instantaneous and lasted long after the show was over. Nearly 45 minutes after the conclusion of the show, many people in the lobby were still hanging around and they were all asking the same question: "HOW did he do that?!"
I give Shenanigans my highest recommendation. If you are in the Atlanta area, this is a MUST SEE. You will not find better entertainment at this price anywhere in Atlanta. It's just plain fun to watch! |

| Joe M. Turner is delightful. His show is really enjoyable - and mysterious in the way that it will leave you wondering..."how did he do that?" This was a nice evening of entertainment and a great time for my friend and I to spend time together. It was also fun to watch my friend get chosen from the audience to participate in one of Joe's shenanigans! Priceless! |

| Joe Turner's Shenanigans is a deceptively entertaining return to the art of Parlor Magic for adults .
Greeting spectators at the door to the lounge in an upscale hotel, Mr. Turner seems like a pleasant and unassuming fellow. However once the show starts, he becomes as polished and professional as any big city entertainer. Calling each member of the audience by name as he involves each in some entertaining diversion, Mr Turner combines deft sleight of hand skills with humor and reminicences of other magical performers.
Magicians will enjoy his inside jokes and references as well as the personal spin he brings to some traditional presentations. Non-magicians will be outright amazed (as many were the night I saw the show)!
For 60 minutes, Mr Turner mixes classics of silks, ropes, money, linking rings, balloons, and the amazing vanish of a spectator's finger ring with music in a well-rehearsed production, yet keeps it looking fresh and original. Even when a deck of cards makes an occasional appearance, it isn't for the usual "pick a card" effect".
The hotel Library, where the show was held, lends itself to a feeling of intimacy, and the cabaret-style seating and bar service had everyone enjoying themselves, even during the pre-show wait. Consisting mostly of local couples and out-of-town visitors, the audience was friendly, receptive and appreciative of Mr. Turner's skills.
After the show, Mr. Turner chatted with guests and even performed a private close-up effect before packing to leave for the evening.
Mr. Turner has developed a strong following in magic-starved Atlanta mostly through positive (and well-deserved) word-of-mouth on Shenanigans. He should be commended for helping revive a neglected performance style in a fun, classy and affordable venue.
If you're lucky enough to be in Atlanta for the one-night a month he performs the show, don't miss it. |

| I've been a fan of Joe's work for many years, but have never had the opportunity to observe a complete show. It was a delight (and no surprise) to discover that the show was filled with strong magical effects, mentalism, manipulation, audience assistance, and music. Joe himself was cordial and charming, obviously enjoying himself along with his audience. The library location was relaxed and intimate. And where else can the public see a good magic show?

| I recently attended the fantastic show "Shenanigans" in Buckhead, Atlanta, GA! What a delight. Shenanigans is presented in an intimate "library/cabaret" style which made for a very comfortable experience. I laughed, I was amazed, and just greatly entertained! Mr. Turner's magic was not only perplexing, but he made me smile while I was being amazed! Not only does the show delight, but Mr. Turner takes the time to talk with the audience and make them feel like THEY are part of the show. In fact, they are! Varying between set pieces and amusing bits of audience participation, we got to feel like we were important to Mr. Turner, and that he truly wanted us to be part of the show, too. Joe M. Turner does a great job at "Shenanigans", you will be thoroughly entertained, but, most importantly, you'll walk away feeling like you've met a new friend who you will want to visit often. |

| What a show! I've seen Joe Turner before. A few times as a matter of fact. I consider myself halfway intelligent. But, how he does what he does is beyond me. Joe doesn't just do cute parlor tricks and he doesn't rely heavily on large props. He's up close, and you still can't see the amazing subtlety of what he does. You need to bring friends, family or co-workers. Shenanigans is a great night out! Your friends will laugh, and you'll have good company as you leave wondering how he did it! |

| Joe thoroughly wowed his audience at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead recently with his captivating magic performance. Throughout the evening, we were constantly asking, "How'd he do that?" Joe is very good at keeping his audience engaged and mystified, as well as providing an exceptionally entertaining show. We all had a great time and look forward to seeing Joe perform again soon! |
