At Zerve we believe the best way to learn about an activity is from the people who have experienced it. So we set up Zerve ratings and reviews to allow anyone who has participated in an activity to rate it and provide a quick review. Zerve ratings and reviews offer the following benefits for you:
To view an activity's (or seller's) rating summary, click on the starred rating or the number in parentheses next to it. You will then see a Ratings Summary similar to the following:
Each Ratings Summary breaks the ratings down into the last 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and the sum total. The 12-month period is the one used to determine the starred rating and the point total in parentheses displayed with the activity and seller information throughout Zerve.
The total number of reviews that have been written for this activity/seller.
3 points are added for each 5-star rating. 1 point is added for each 4-star rating. The total of all these points is displayed in the Positive Points column.
3 points are subtracted for each 1-star rating. 1 point is subtracted for each 2-star rating. The total of all these points is displayed in the Negative Points column.
The Overall Rating column contains the sum total of the Positive Points and Negative Points. (Note: 0 points are added or subtracted for each 3-star rating.) The Overall Rating is the most important value for each activity/seller - the higher the Overall Rating, the better.
This represents the number of 4- or 5-star ratings, as a percentage of all ratings submitted. (3-star ratings are considered neither positive nor negative and are not included in either the numerator or the denominator.)
The average starred rating given to this activity/seller. For example, if an activity had 2 reviews, one for 5 stars and another for 4 stars, its average rating would be 4.5.
Zerve will email you to review a purchased activity a few days after it takes place. Simply click on the link in that email and write your review. Alternatively, at any time after an activity takes place, sign in to your Zerve account to submit a review. Only Zerve members who have purchased tickets for a specific activity can review it.
Once submitted, reviews are immediately posted live on Zerve. Please be honest, mature and thoughtful in your comments. You are 100% accountable for the reviews you post, including slanderous statements.
As specified in Zerve's Terms of Use, Zerve may remove reviews due to profane language, links/scripts within the review, or any other reason that Zerve deems to be detrimental to the purpose of the review system.
