WOW. This tour was amazing. My boyfriend and I were celebrating Valentine's day early and thought it would be a fun activity, and we were not disappointed. Bert, our tour guide, definitely made the tour a lot of fun - not only was he friendly and enthusiastic, but also very informative and knowledgeable about the different chocolate shops. We visited several boutiques in SOHO, all with their own unique atmospheres, and sampled chocolates at each one. These weren't all your run-of-of-the-mill chocolates either - we had the opportunity to try really creative combinations of flavors that were different from anything I had ever tasted before. It was a great new experience, as well as a fascinating glimpse into the world of New York chocolate.
In short, if you love chocolate, and are looking for a culinary adventure, then this tour is for you! |

This tour was one my wife wanted to do but I enjoyed it very much too. The tour guide, Bert, was exceptional! His knowledge of the tour and New York in general was excellent. His professionalism and friendly nature made for a very nice 2-1/2 hour tour. I enjoyed the walking and chatting as much as the chocolate tour. My wife LOVED the tour. I guess I never knew a thing about chocolate but Bert educated us! The shops we went to were unique and enjoyable too. |

This was a fantastic tour. The tour guide is great. Not only does he know a lot about chocolate, but also the area. He is friendly and fun. The tour itself consists of going to several different chocolate shops and picking chocolates to try. The guide knows all the different kinds of offered. There are some very adventurous types of chocolates to try, and you get to try ALOT!! I enjoyed this tour so much that I will be taking the other one soon. |

I booked the tour for my girlfriend who's a chocolate lover. We both really enjoyed the tour, the chocolate, and the info provided by Bert, our tour guide. It was very neat to learn about the history of the chocolate and the shops. We had a lot of fun. Definitely a good date if your gf loves chocolate. Highly recommended! |

I went on the chocolate tour around Soho with a few friends and found it so interesting. Not only were we enjoying amazing chocolates, but we were learning about it all the while exploring Manhattan in a new way. As a local who loves the city, this is a great thing to do with friends, a significant other or family members! Our guide Bert was so friendly and informative...I highly recommend it! |

We visit New York about twice a year to take in the shows and we are always looking for interesting things to do during the day. We came across the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour doing some web surfing of things to do in NY and we thought we'd give it a try. What a treat! Our tour guide, Bert, was knowledgeable and enjoyable to be with. We learned about the origins of chocolate, how and why chocolates differ and what makes some chocolates better than others. Bert's recommendations at each stop were thoughtful and balanced--he often described what he or others both like and don't like about some flavors, and he encouraged us to try something we may not otherwise try. We enjoyed discussing the chocolates with him and describing why we did and did not like some of the things we tried. Even though it was a very cold day to be walking about, we enjoyed spending our time on the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour and we would definitely recommend it to locals and tourists alike! |

Simply put, if you're interested enough to be looking at reviews, there's no question you should take this tour.
The entire experience was phenomenal. I never knew such unbelievable chocolate could exist. Of course, you should come hungry- you eat a lot of it. But the tour was way more than just a lot of delicious chocolate; it was an experience. The tour teaches you a lot in a dynamic, interesting, fun way. We learned about the chocolate-making process, the history of boutique chocolate, trends in chocolate, and about the culture of New York City in the process. The tour guide was wonderful- he engaged everyone with a natural charm and grace, making sure everyone was having a good time.
Needless to say, I'll be recommending it to quite a few people back home. |

I took my mom on this tour since she is a chocolate lover. We both had a wonderful time and tasted the most delicious and unusual chocolates. Our guide was so informative and personable. It was a lovely tour and I would highly recommend it to not only tourists, but also for locals looking for something different to do in the city. |

Our guide was knowledgeable but not snobby. He was friendly and knew everyone who worked at the places we went to. When we walked to each place, he made an effort to talk to everyone on the group to make us feel comfortable. He really made the tour fantastic. He was honest and and wonderful. The chocolate is amazing and it was great to eat something so decadent ALL DAY LONG!!! I will take this tour again! |

We had fun on the tour. If you sign up be sure to get Bert as your guide. He was really nice and very knowledgable. He made you feel comfortable and kept the group together and moving on schedule, a real pro. You don't get much wine but after the first sip of the liquid chocolate you will forget all about the lack of wine. The others on the tour were very friendly, I guess chocolate lovers are all kind people. |

I brought my chocolate-loving fiance on this tour for his birthday. Being Belgian, he has extremely high standards, but he absolutely loved it!!! Our guide, Bert, was AWESOME, extremely knowledgable, and so much fun - and we were lucky enough to get a "private" tour since the others cancelled (on what turned out to be an extremely frigid day). We will definitely be interested in taking some of his other tours. Even though we are locals, we still had a great time hearing all of his stories and taking his flavor recommendations. Plus, I'm not a big fan of chocolate myself, but even I enjoyed all of the great tastings & learning everything about chocolate and the people who make it. Thanks for a lovely afternoon, Bert! |
