Great Fun! Our tour guide Burt, was very pleasant and talkative and eager to share his knowledge about chocolate and the various chocolatietiers. My husband, myself and my niece visiting us from Ohio had a great Sunday afternoon enjoying every bite of the finest chocloate's SoHo has to offer. Would definitely recommend doing this tour. |

Burt (the tour guide) was casual, informative and fun. The walk took us through Soho at a leisurely pace to 5 very different shops. Quite a variety of chocolates and shop styles. Try the white chocolates (esp pistachio) at Kim Lee's shop, they were the best samples on the tour (even if you don't normally like white chocolate-trust me). A great way to spend the afternoon, and just as good as the Uptown tour according to Burt. |

Highly recommend this trip through some excellent gourmet shops throughout SoHo. Bert was a delightful guide, the staff in each shop was also very nice and helpful, but the chocolate was the real star. Worth the price, and then some. |

Great tour, very informative, learned a lot about the history of chocolate, where it is grown, how it evolved. Especially loved the tastings and pairing the chocolate with wine as well as the variety of types of chocolate and other pastries.
We have recommended this tour to several of our friends who would like to take the same tour when next they are in New York. |

Being the chocoholic of the family, I didn't hesitate to book the chocolate tour in NYC! My family obliged in joining me. After our first stop at Saks 5th Avenue's chocolate cafe my kids were sold and commented that this is going to be the best tour ever! It's educational, fun and exceptionally sweet! We appreciated the pace of the tour as it allowed us to meet and talk to others. Bert guided us through our choices and we enjoyed his humor and love for chocolate! It was a great way to be introduced to the complexities of chocolate making and we loved trying selections we would never usually make! The tour has changed my children's idea of what great chocolate is and commented that the average chocolate bar just isn't going to cut it anymore! So parents, beware! This tour is going to give you the real thing and nothing compares to the best of the best when it comes to chocolate!

I have been on many walking tours in New York and this is the best. You learn a lot about chocolate and you get to taste some of the best chocolate that you will ever have in your life! Bert, our tour guide was excellent - very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting to visit with. He makes everyone feel welcome. I highly recommend this tour! |

My mom and I really enjoyed the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour! The tour was extremely well planned in terms of the route, pace and schedule. Early in the tour we walked by a food cart where we were able to buy a bottle of water for $1 (a bargain in NYC as compared to $5 at our hotel), and later in the tour, at the 3rd and 5th chocolate shops, there were rest breaks where we were able to sit down, rest our feet and enjoy our chocolate. Our tour guide Brooke was very knowledgeable, considerate and a pleasure to talk with. In each chocolate shop, we received at least two samples and all were scrumptious! Overall, I'd recommend this tour to other chocolate lovers visiting NYC. |

So many tours are available, this one is so unique we just HAD to try it. The guide is fabulous, inserting tidbits of New York information along the way. It was well worth the time and money. The stores visited were wonderful and the chocolate was divine. (My husband doesn't like chocolate, and he LOVED the tour!) Thanks for the wonderful experience, one of my New York highlights. |

The tour itself was wonderful! We did it as part of a bachelorette party - the bride was thrilled! The tour guide, while knowledgeable, made it clear she held tourists in low regards. Comments such as her preference for New Yorkers as she "did not have to worry about them crossing the street and getting lost while staring at buildings" is rather insulting to a group of well educated women that, while from "the middle" as our guide rather dismissively stated, have demonstrated the capability of crossing streets successfully for nearly 30 years. While none in my group appreciated the attitude we got, the tour is still worth putting up with the snarky comments and self aggrandizement. Just have some thick skin and do what we did - have a good laugh over the stereotypical New York attitude (the only time we experienced it, so an unfair stereotype in my book!). We now refer to ourselves as being from "the middle"! |

Decided to take the tour after reading the great reviews and glad we did. We throughly enjoyed it. Learned about the making of chocolate and of course got to taste some of the best Chocolate around. Would love to make the trip on the East Side soon. |

We visited 5 different chocolate stores! Our tour guide, Vince was very knowledgeable and the chocolate was amazing! Adding a stop for wine or milk would be the only thing that could make it any better. |

Tour was fine but overpriced.. 10 pieces of chocolate for $70 doesn't sound like a great deal, but you'll go places you might not have otherwise. |

The guide, Bert, was a delight. We had so much fun on this tour, it's totally worth the money! The chocolates are all delicious, and we went back to Jacques Torres for more hot chocolate the same day! I plan to go on the Luxury tour next! |
