This "tour" is really a visit to 5 chocolate shops, and a tasting. I expected more information about each shop, and what makes it special, than a one-paragraph description!

We enjoyed the tour greatly. Lindsey was an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. Who knew there was so much to know about the chocolate you can buy in Manhattan? She explained the difference in each chocolate shop and answered everyone's questions. Pace was good, but if you can't walk long distances, probably not a good tour.

The tour guide was not knowledgeable about chocolate or New York City. She clearly lead us the wrong way after the meeting place and then said we were taking the scenic route as we walked past the store on the opposite side of the street. She was brief in her descriptions of the chocolates and there should have been opportunity to buy something at each store. Only in one store did an employee speak up and gave a detailed description about their chocolates, which was very welcomed. She did not mention of any of the NYC landmarks we were walking past, which would of added to the overall cohesiveness of the tour. At the bare minimum she should have said something like, "onthe way to the next shop we will walk past Grand Central Station." I realize that this was her first month, but she needs to be prepared with more information on her subject and her surroundings.

Would definitely recommend this tour on your visit to New York. Our guide was knowledgeable about chocolate and the shops we visited were exquisite. The chocolate samples were delicious and enough.

tour guide was very knowledgeable--moved the tour along if you don't like truffles don't tkae this tour--all the candy tasted were truffle-like Think its a bit over priced...$50 is more reasonable than $70

This was a fun event and our guide was both knowledgeable and informative.

It was a great eclectic assortment of boutiques to visit, with each from a different country. Our tour guide, Lindsay was enthusiastic, energetic and very knowledgable about chocolate. She was very easy to talk with, gave us great information and in general made the tour very enjoyable. I am now looking forward to taking some of the other tours.

Lindsey was personable, knowlegable and articulate; she was the perfect tour guide. We had an magical afternoon sampling exotic chocolates in tiny sensuous shops. I highly recommend this tour to all adults, but beware--it may ruin your taste for Hershey's and turn you into a chocolate snob!

I am really into chocolate and NYC history so I really enjoyed this walking tour. There was only one stop that was truly outstanding by my sophisticated taste - La Maison du Chocolat -but our guide was very sweet and knowlegable. A bit pricey for the limited samples we got, but you probably can't eat that much chocolate anyway. If this is your thing, you'll have a great time!

Linzi, our tour guide was brilliant. She made everyone on the tour comfortable and her knowledge of chocolate and the shops was impressive. I was blown away by her ability to educate on a fun and informative level whether dealing with one of the youngsters or an old cocoa snob like myself. The walking tour was just the right length in time and blocks covered. The chocolate sampled on the tour, went from delectable and delicious, to downright decadent in quality and epicurean experiance.

This was a 21st bday mother/daughter treat. All the stops on the visit provided superb choc samples, and the tour guide was very enthusiastic, informative and helpful. We paid up as, being chocoholics, we thought it might be worth it, and also it was a special occasion. We would recommend everything about the trip, except that it is probably only worth half the price!

We visited five places in the SOHO area and got to sample two choices at each. At two of the stops everyone also got to sample an additional signature item. At first I thought only two pieces wasn't much for the money paid, but I was stuffed by the end of the tour! My friend and I split our items in half so we basically got to sample four choices at each business. I suggest bringing along a plastic knife for this purpose if possible. The guide was knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about her chocolate! Be sure to take your water!

My two daughteres gave this tour to my wife for mother;s day. She is a chocoholic. It was hte most pleasant day we had as a family. Almost too much chocolate and i am sorry we did not buy much in the first location, but a wonderful experience for the palate!!!!!!!!
