It was my wife's surprise 55th birthday, so I wanted something special and it was. Mark was excellent he took us on the subway and oriented us to the town. He pointed out great places to eat and to visit. He knew everything about New York, he was a wealth of information and made us feel at ease about travelling throughout the city.

In addition to some amazing photos that Marc took, we also got a great tour of the city along with some back ground along our tour. Marc also gave us some great time saving tips on other attractions we were going to see that day. Highly recommend this tour. You will walk away with great photos and great memories.

Our tour was more than I thought it would be. Mark taught us how to use the NYC subway system which was a huge benefit to us. He was a wonderful source of information on New York. My only complaint was that sometimes I was not close enough to him to hear what he was saying! You do have to be in very good walking condition to take this tour as the pace is fast. Unfortunately I was not. Even though Mark slowed his pace and made every effort to adjust his speed to accommodate me, it was almost more than I could handle. But I am still glad that I went. An especially nice touch was ending our tour in such a lovely area as Greenwich Village. The neighborhood was peaceful and not nearly as crowded as Manhattan! I would definitely recommend this tour to any first-time visitors. And the pictures are just a bonus!!

This tour was definitely worth the money. Marc was very informative with all the areas. We knew what places we wanted to spend more time and investigate on our own. We are recommending Marc and this tour to our friends who are visiting New York. Everyone should do it. Great pictures too!

Marc is awesome! He listens to what types of photos are important to you and puts his own creative touch on them. We ended up with fabulous family photos and many touring tips as well. I highly recommend this tour!

Our first vacation in New York, me and a friend had the pleasure of taking the Best of New York city walking tour and absolutely loved it. Our personal guide Kennedy was terrific! Kennedy provided exceptional photography along with alot of knowledge about New York City. The combination made this tour and our trip to New York a truly memorable experience. It was a great way to get acquainted with what New York has to offer. It was a very informative, fun, and memorable tour! Not only will you get superb professional photos, but Marc also dropped some serious knowledge about the city, the people, how the city functions, and its history. This was a great way to get a sense of New York, at the same time having family pictures and memories to keep (and no one was missing from the shot). we were not disappointed with this tour. Marc was knowledgeable, abliging and fun! We had 5 kids in tow and nothing was too much trouble. He left us with a confidence to get around New York and surrounds, using the subway or walking and a great sense of how the place ticked. The photos were a bonus and we have some wonderful shots that are priceless. Make sure you head into Brooklyn!

This was perhaps one of the best activities I've done in a long time. The photographer was extremely professional, courteous and made the day extremely enjoyable. We were able to see many areas of the city we wouldn't otherwise have seen on our own. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone thinking of a unique gift idea. It was worth every penny and the photos were excellent!! I can't wait to see the prints I ordered so I can frame them!! I can't say enough good things about this trip! There wasn't one thing I disliked about it!!! SO FUN!

We came to New York for an extensive surgery for our son. With a couple of days before his surgery we wanted to see as much of NYC as we could in as short a time as possible. PhotoTrek was perfect for us. Our photographer, Kennedy Moore, was so knowledgeable about the city and enthusiastic that he made us love the city too. He was attentive to the needs of our medically fragile son and took time to rest when he needed to and kept up a running dialog of fun facts while we rested so we didn't miss out on anything. It gave us time to relax and enjoy just having some fun time together and learn where things are. He also taught us how to use the subway and get around the city. We have wonderful family pictures and lots of good memories of our trip. We all agreed this was this best thing we did while here. Every city should have this. Thank you Kennedy for a wonderful experience and great pictures!

Ask for Jimmy...his knowledge of the history of NY is fantastic...it is his passion, and it shows. I am not saying that the other tour leaders are not great, as we only did the tour with Jimmy, but I doubt anyone could surpass his passion and enthusiasm, which he passes on to his group. I must comment that I said to my husband that it seems like Jimmy is doing this tour for the first time...and by that I don't mean his knowledge, I mean his enthusiasm. He has obviously done this tour over and over and over again, but he does not make you feel like that, it feels fresh and enthusiastic....thank you Jimmy.

Marc was great to work with. We have some very special pictures from our tour. He shuffled the schedule to avoid some weather issues. He had some excellent spots planned that provided unique backgrounds for our pictures. It was nice to have professional pictures with NYC backgrounds. We would definitely recommend this.

Marc out guide was very efficient and enthusiastic and gave priority to our requests for locations to suit our personal needs.

My fiancé and I took a tour with Marc and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome. He was knowledgeable, polite, funny and made the 2 of us completely comfortable. We arrived in NYC the day before the tour and we noticed that every picture we had was either me takin pictures of her or vice versa. With this tour we got unbelievable pictures together. I also proposed during this tour and Marc helped me out completely. Because of him we'll have pictures that captured our whole day before,during and after the proposal. Thank you very much. This was my second tour with Marc and he only gets better! Last time my husband and I had a blast on the Best of New York tour and this time my 25-year-old son and I did the Central Park route and had a blast as well. Marc is a very congenial guide and gives interesting descriptions and tidbits of information about all the sights on the tour as well as the city in general. He is great with the camera, too -- the photos turned out awesomely well. Plus he recommended a great place for dinner at the end of the tour. Two gigantic thumbs up from us -- it was definitely a highlight of our week in New York!
