| First time trip to New York City and we wouldn't have gone if it wasn't for all the rave reviews we read. Marc went above and beyond working with us on a rainy weekend right up to the last minute to get the tour in. His recommendations on local restaurants were right on and we ate at every one of them. | This was a great tour!! We travel to New York quite a bit so this tour did two things for us. We got great photos in a city we love. We also got to go and see places we hadn't been to before. Marc really caters to what you want to see and do. He also has a wealth of info of history of the city and what is going on in the time frame that you are there. We would definitely recommend this tour. | ||||||

| We are a just married couple from Canary Island. we strongly recommend this tour to other people like us, that are used to travel a lot and their photos are boring like she she she, he he he.. all the time...and never one photo together but when you have to bother someone else :) We will come back as soon as we can to NYC and call again this tour!! | ||||||

| This is the 1st thing my husband and I did when we landed in New York and we are so glad we did. Mark was very informative and the pictures have turned out amazing. Mark is a true local and gave us many tips and insights that you won't find in a book. Mark is friendly and a seasoned traveller himself and very easy to get along with. I was really afraid to catch the subway but it was one of the 1s things we did with Mark and it saved us a lot of money which I then put towards shopping! If there is one tour to do in New York, this is it! | ||||||

| loved the tour specially because we were on our honeymoon and got lots of pictures together. My husband that doesn't speak fluent english understood everything Marc (tour guide) told us. Also got lots of tips of where to go on our own afterwards and how to use the subway which was veeery usefull. Super recommended! | ||||||

| We had a great time on the tour. We got some great hints about where to eat and some night life as well as learned how to ride the subway. We did this tour at the beginning of our trip which is the best way to do it because Marc's hints helped us for the rest of our trip and we rode the subway everywhere! This is a great way to familiarize yourselves with the city and we felt it was one of the highlights of our trip. We would recommend this tour to others! | ||||||

| This was absolutely one of the funnest items we did on our trip, and we did a lot. Coming into the Phototrek tour, we really wanted to take advantage of the incite and knowledge that a local would give to us, and Marc went above and beyond our expectations. He was very knowledgable, personable, and a fantastic host to his hometown of New York. We will be recommending this trip to all of our friends that visit the great city of New York. | This was a great experience. My wife and I took the 3 hour tour and had such a great tour guide. He showed us all the places that we had hoped to see and now we actually have pictures of us together by a professional photographer! Great service. | ||||||

A birthday surprise

| I booked this tour as a surprise for my husband after reading good reviews on tripadvisor. Unfortunately it had to be rearranged due to bad weather. However, we met Marc the following day and were not disappointed. Right away Marc started taking pictures and telling us our itinery. We started off at Times Square, made our way by subway, where we had a couple of photos taken, to Central Park. After a time in Central Park with it's beautiful backdrop it was on to the magnificent Grand Central station. Another subway ride and it was on to the Brookyn Bridge. We then went to Greenwich Village and Soho. During the entire time, 3 hours, Marc was constantly taking pictures and giving us a running comentray on whatever site we were at, at the time. As you can imagine being a New Yorker he is a font of information. He delivered our disc of approx 151 photos to out hotel a couple of days later. We had to wait till we were home to view the disc and were delighted with the result. I would recomend this tour as a great keepsake of a fabulous city. | ||||||

| Ein gelungenes Projekt und eine schöne Geschenkidee! Wir hatten die 2 Stunden Tour mit Marc gebucht, welche auch absolut ausreichte. Leider hatten wir uns viele Lokalitäten ausgesucht (TS, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Parc, Meatpacking), so dass die Zeit sehr knapp war und Marc im Schnelldurchgang die Fotos anfertigte. Hierdurch blieb keine Zeit die Fotos zu begutachten und ggf. ein neues anzufertigen. Daher war auch ein großteil der Bilder auf der CD später nicht "verwertbar" ( Augen zu, unpassender Gesichtsausdruck etc.). Aus den Rahmenbedingungen holte Marc jedoch noch 30 gute Bilder heraus. Wir würden die Tour wieder buchen da es unvergessliche Bilder geworden sind. Unsere Empfehlung: weniger Orte, mehr Zeit für die Bilder und Einstellungen. | ||||||

| Great way to get your bearings of the city even if you've been there before. The 3 hour tour can get a bit long if you're not in great shape - not because of the content, but because of the walking : - ) Make sure all in your group are up for walking that long! | ||||||
