Brilliant start to your holiday

| This is a great idea to start your holiday, as you see the major areas of New York city. Mark is helpful and guides you well, we were a bit unsure of the subway but he just took us on and showed us how wrong we were. The pictures are fantastic and well worth the time and effort the guide puts in. The best idea I think is to book the guide at the begginning to give you a running start. Having a native NY resident who will answer your questions no matter how stupid really helps you enjoy the city more than you would have thought. | ||||||

| We were 2 girls in NYC celebrating our 40th birthday and were so impressed with this tour! We had a blast! Marc, our tour guide, was alot of fun and very knowledgable. He was also very accomodating and customized the tour so that we could see all the sites that interested us, which included all the neighbourhoods, major landmarks, shops and even places we never thought of. Marc dropped the photo disc off at our hotel and we couldn't wait to see the pictures. They were great! He took so many that there are lots of great ones. We had the best time on the Brooklyn bridge and those are some of our favourite pictures. This tour is so worth it and we would recommend doing it early in your trip as there was no way we would have seen a tenth of the great sites that Marc showed us on our own! | Like everyone who goes on holiday , my wife and i wanted great photo's of our trip to the world's greatest city and marc did that for us. Within ten minutes of reading the reviews on the web we had booked ourselves a 2 hour stroll for our first morning in NY and i can't stress how happy we are we did . We met Marc first thing and told him we wanted to see Central Park , Times Sq and Brooklyn Bridge , he showed us those places and much more along the way including 5th Av , LIttle Italy , Greenwich Village , Chinatown and so on . Not only did we learn a lot about NY from Marc but he showed us lots of handy tips like riding the subway and good places to eat and drink around the city , this is one of the reasons you should book your tour as early as possible into your trip as you get a good feel for where everything is and how long it takes to get around .Marc himself is very friendly and easy to talk to and puts you at ease right away if your worried about getting your photo taken in front of people as you are walking around , in fact after a while we felt like celebrities as people take a second glance at you wandering why your having your picture taken [ all part of the fun ].Unfortunately we are back home now but at least we have a fantastic photo album full of amazing pictures together and lots of great memories. Our friends have all seen them and some who are going to NY in November plan to book with Marc so i can't give anymore recommendation than that , other than when we return we will without doubt book another tour and see many of the other sites we didn't see first time around ! | We booked this at the last minute and we were so glad that we found it. We spent 2 memorable hours with Marc who is very knowledgable and enthusiatic about his home town. We got pictures of ourselves that we would never have otherwise been able to get, in locations that we might not have visited without Marc's guidance. The photos were great and the disc arrived at our hotel within 24 hours. Very impressed with the service. Although it had been raining, Marc had a 'plan B' so that we would not miss out, however we did not need this as the weather held. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anybody visiting NYC and we would definately consider taking another one of Marc's tours. We loved every minute of it !! | ||||||

| If you are traveling to NYC I would recommend this tour as not only a great way to get your bearings in the city but also as a way to create memories of your trip. The tour guide is friendly, knowledgeable and informative and the pictures that are taken are of excellent quality. If like me and my other half you are going as a couple the tour is for you it removes the having to ask random strangers to take your photo and risk them legging it with your gear. All in all the experience is very positive and you will have something to remember your trip for ever. Kevin & Sharon | ||||||

| Coming from Australia, never having been to the U.S. before, going on this tour was a wonderful way to see and learn how to get around New York. It was a fun-filled 3 hours covering so much that a tourist would never find on their own. The photos were wonderful! Marc was an excellent guide who taught us how to use the subway, recommended the best places to eat and what to expect in which area of the city. My sister and I highly recommend this tour to all NYC visitors!! | ||||||

| We would recomend anyone coming to new york to try out a photo trek tour. Not only have we got some great photos but our guide Marc made the tour interesting and pointed out areas that we would not have visited but for this tour. | Mark - we cannot thank you enough. Not only a personalised tour of the greatest city in the world , but a unique reminder of a fantastic family holiday. Anyone that can engage with my kids at 8.00am on a sunday morning deserves a medal - but from the moment that you met us at our hotel they were transformed. A unique quick start guide to New York with photos

| This was our first trip to New York, we had booked a 7 day stay and wanted to make the best use of our time there. As a mother and son family we had almost no photos of the two of us together, so when I came across Marc's photo tour of New York on the internet it seemed the ideal solution for us. The other things that appealed to us were, Marc being a Native New Yorker, the tour being walking and subway, (rather than a bus) and a degree of personalization. My 12 year old son Damie is an avid Spiderman fan and wanted to see some of the famous landmarks from the films. Marc arrived early and let us know he was in the lobby of our hotel (another plus point, being collected). We met a well-turned out and extremely personable Marc, who immediately went through the Spiderman locations he could build into the tour - we had opted for the 4 hour one. He also checked the New York landmarks we were most interested in e.g. Central Park as opposed to the Financial District, in our case. This enabled him to decide how much time and focus to place on each location. Neither my son or I are naturals when it comes to being photographed, but Marc's expertise and quickness with his camera meant that we never had to pose or hold a smile for more than a few seconds. As a result we now have a disc of 200 professional photographs which Marc delivered to our hotel the following day. I know my son wouldn't have been willing to be photographed like this if I was holding the camera. Marc was also very sensitive to my son's sensory difficulties, when Damie found Times Square a bit too much for him, Marc moved quickly on, but still managed to get some shots here. He was very open and easy to talk to and we both enjoyed our time with him. At the end of the tour my son and I really felt confident about exploring New York over the rest of the week on our own, including using the subways, which Marc gave us a lesson in. We also felt we had received a comprehensive view of the city, visiting places we may not have got round to ourselves. With the portfolio of photos to take home from Marc's tour, we were able to spend the rest of our week in New York sans camera doing our own thing, including revisiting some of the places Marc had shown us. This tour is unique and real value for money - I would recommend it to anyone visiting New York. | ||||||

| My husband and I are from the UK, and only had two days to see New York City. Marc's tour was fantastic. I can't think of a better way to orientate yourself with the city, learn a bit about the city, work out how the subway works and get a CD full of wonderful photographs of the whole family. Marc was very friendly and relaxed, and adapted the tour to include a couple of things we specifically wanted to see. The CD of photographs arrived in the UK really quickly and we are so pleased with the photographs. I will be telling everyone I can about this tour!!! | ||||||

| I booked this for my new husband and I as we spent our honeymoon in New York. It was absolutely the best! Marc was so friendly, energetic and full of local knowledge. We covered so much ground in our four hours and the photos are fantastic - they'll be going in our official wedding album. We did it on our first full day and got a great insight into New York and the different areas of Manhattan. My advice is to definitely take this trip, but a word of warning - wear the most comfortable shoes you can find as you will never stop! | ||||||

| cannot praise this tour highly enough. Marc was incredibly professional and courteous too. We arranged this tour for myself and my best buddy, Pete and it must have taken us at least 35 - 45 seconds to bond with Marc !! Although we have visited New York on many occasions, to see the sights with a professional guide and then have some fantastic photos delivered to your hotel well within 48 hours is a such a brilliant idea and we would have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone. | My husband and I took Photo tours with Marc on our first full day in New York City. It was a fantastic start to our week long trip in the Big Apple, as Marc covered all the tourist spots, and a little bit more. We recieved well over 170 Images of our tour, which is the now the highlight of our photo albums. The photos are fantastic, capturing all the wonderful sights, some photos a little more animated than others. Overall the whole experiece was alot of fun. Marc recommended places to eat, things to do, and sights to visit while on our tour to really experience NYC. On his photo trek tour we also visited more obscure areas that the normal tourist would not see. I highly recommend this as a good starting point for anyone visiting new york city. The photos are memories you will treasure forever, and a great way to capture your whole touring party. | ||||||

| On our recent trip to New York, we needed a photographer to capture our memories of our wedding day. When I found photo Trek Tours on the internet, I looked at the gallery of pictures and fell in love with them. Marc is awesome and he will make any picture you want happen. I told him I wanted to try and get a picture with some sailors (it was fleet week), and he made it happen. He really made our trip to New York, and I can't wait to come back for another tour.
