| Considering it was just the two of us in our party, we certainly wanted photos with the both of us in them. The photo tour was the perfect oppertunity for us to secure photos with both my daughter and I in them. It was a fun tour and informative as well. I would recommend this tour to everyone that wants awsome photos of their trip. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this tour/photo op experience for anyone thinking of doing it. Marc is a great guy, is very professional and definitely knows the city. It is almost impossible for a couple to both get in a picture unless you hold the camera arms length or stop someone to take one for you. Marc takes you to all the places that a tourist would want to see and gets your group in a great photo. He also asks if you have any photo requests or want to see a specific area of the city. You also get way over the amount of pictures that is specified and the cd is delivered right to your hotel desk the next day. Marc also called and gave us a couple suggestions for restaraunt week. Again this is a great option to go for and a great photographer!!!! Thanks again Marc....... | ||||||

| I have to say the phototour was fantastic. Mark was very professional and interacted well with us. When we met, he explained about where we would go and gave us a choice of an additional stop on the tour. As we were walking around New York, Mark explained about the areas we were walking though. Mark came across as very proud of his city and new his stuff. He showed genuine interest in us and where we were from and what we hoped to achieve whilst in New York. We took the the 2 hour Best of New York tour and it was great, showed us some of the major highlights of New York and gave us a good orientation. We were billed to receive at least 75 photos of the tour and ended up with 123! I can't recommend this enough, it's an excellent way to get to grips with New York and an ideal way to get photo's of everyone in your party, without having to ask a stranger to take a pic of you. I've recommended this to some of my friends who are heading to New York later in the year. I'm your thinking about doin this tour. DO IT! you won't regret it | ||||||

| We did this two hour tour on our first day in New York. We were taken to lots of different places in the 2 hours and it was very fast paced but it was great to get a taste of some of the main tourist sights on our first day, and Marc did discuss where he proposed taking our photos with us and gave us the chance to express preferences as to where we wanted our shots taken. We were really happy with the photos that we got. If I recall rightly we were expecting we'd get about 75 shots, but Marc gave us a disc with all of the photos on (way more than 75 - very refreshing when you consider that professional photographers/wedding photographers charge way more but don't always give you all your shots!). As well as taking great photos, we found Marc to be a great tour guide in giving us commentary on New York, helpful hints on using the subway and how to get around, and recommending restaurants and other good photo opportunity spots. We have already recommended this tour to friends of ours who live in NY and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city as a tourist too. | ||||||

| This was the first and only organized tour we took while in New York City and we were not disappointed. This tour is well worth the money. Mark was extremely professional and proved to have a wealth of knowledge about the city. Not only did we end up with over one hundred amazing photographs, Mark also familiarized us with the city layout, the public transit system and made excellent restaurant recommendations. We took the 2 hour city tour and we were absolutely amazed at how much ground we were able to cover in that time period – We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a truly unique experience! Definitely 5 stars! | ||||||

| This was a really special trip as 2 of our group were celebrating their 40th's. So we really wanted to capture the trip on film as well as see bits of New York that we'd not seen before. Plus its good to do a tour with a difference. Our guide/photographer was really informative and if it wasn't for him we would never have gone on the subway and understood how it works. This tour was recommended to us by others that have used this service and we were NOT disappointed at all. I will and have already recommended this tour to all my friends. Money well spent. | ||||||

| Every year one of my best friends and I go to NYC. This was the first year we signed up for a tour with Marc and it was the BEST money we spent on ANY tour in the city!!!! You get a TON of pictures and the best personal attention you could expect from a guide. Marc was very professional and he made our tour exceptionally fun with tips and ideas about the city. It doesn't matter how well traveled you may be, it pays to sign up for this tour and let Marc give you the tour of a lifetime!!! It's worth the time you invest in yourselves for your traveling party and it's worth the money invested to bring home tons of pictures you wouldn't otherwise capture yourself. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for...." - Marc superceded our expectations. Take the time to make this investment and completely enjoy your tour. You will NOT be disappointed!!!! Our tour with Marc was the high point of this year's trip! | ||||||

| Our Personal Photo Tour with Marc was excellent and definitely something we would recommend to anybody who wants to see New York with a friendly guide as well as having photos so that we can always remember our trip. We both felt that Marc was very knowledgeable and easy to speak to whilst we were on our tour. There definitely were not any uncomfortable silences throughout the 2 hours! The tour was flexible in that we could pick and choose where we would like to see, and he was also very helpful in giving us directions to where we wanted to go after the tour finished. The photos were of a very high quality and something that we can keep to always remind us of a brilliant holiday. We also received far more photos than we had originally paid for, probably to make up for the fact that I kept having my eyes closed for some reason!! We would definitely recommend PhotoTrek Tours with confidence to anybody visiting New York. | ||||||

| The idea is great - a bit more attention to quality/detail (for the price we paid) would have been an improvement. Quality was more important to us than quantity (of photos taken). Otherwise we enjoyed the experience and have some nice pics of our time in New York. | ||||||

| This is a fast-paced energetic tour of the city- although I'm sure Marc would slow the pace if that is your desire- by a real New Yorker. I was amazed at the amount of ground covered in such a short period of time. Word of warning: keep smiling! Marc does a spectacular job at keeping your party as the main focus of the pictures and to do this in the middle of Manhattan he must be quick with the shutter. In other words, minimal time is spent being situated into a pose- so be ready to smile. I was happy that during any time waiting for or being on a subway he showed us the shots he had taken so far, so when I got the disc (the next day) there were no surprises. I thouroughly enjoyed our 2 hours, which seemed like half that. Our pictures-more than 80 of them- turned out great. He took several quick shots at each location, so you will be able to choose the best one. Yes, there were several where either my husband or I was not smiling, eyes closed, or otherwise just goofy looking- but that aside, I still had to narrow down the pictures I wanted to print. I think anyone who wants some great pictures of themselves in New York should book this tour! | ||||||

| We recently went to NYC as a surprise birthday present from my husband and we booked this tour with Marc. My intend was to get some great pictures of us during the 2 hour tour since we were only in town for 3 days. Marc captured the New York hussle and bussle very nicely. My husband thought it might be uncomfortable going on a one on one tour, but it was not at all. It was nice to be able to ask questions at any time. It was a pretty tightly scheduled tour, but that enabled us to get to see more. Thanks for some great memories Marc. | ||||||

| We took the photo trek tour on our last day in New York even though the company recommends talking it on your first couple of days. We had both been to NYC before so the photgrapher decided to do a couple of different things. We spent time in Central Park, Upper East Side, Times Square, Grand Central and then walked across the Brooklyn Bridge into Brookyln. It was so much fun and the photographer was very knowledgable. I just got the photos in the mail last week (you would normally get them delivered to your hotel) and they are amazing. This is a really great idea for people wanting some different pictures than the normal tourist attractions. We especially loved to have really great pictures of the two of us together. | ||||||

| I'm going to need more than 3000 characters! haha. My girlfriend, now fiance, booked the 2hr tour, 2 days before we got to the city and are very, very happy we did. Marc wasn't only knowledgeable, professional as well as entertaining. He was a friend. In less then 10 minutes, you felt as if you knew him for years. We felt that the pictures we're just a bonus of the tour. We were only visiting a couple of days, but after the tour we had the knowledge and confidence to get around and go where we wanted without a moment's hesitation. In a city like New York, that's priceless in my opinion. Let's talk photo's. Absolutely brilliant! I work in an industry that deals with photography on a daily basis. His technique and knowledge is superb. He knows how to get the best out of you without compromising the background which is what we, as customers, want to see. For example, when we made it to the Brooklyn Bridge, it was jam packed. But in the photos ... where did they go? Some pictures looked like we were the only ones on the bridge! And it's not like people are stopping for you take photos either. People are on the move 24-7. That is what I call true talent. The highlight of the tour for me had to be Central Park. This is where I proposed. Marc, has a link on his website specifically for Weddings and Romance. I saw the link but never click on it. Funny story, and I'm sure he'll agree, is that I picked the exact spot where he tells the future groom, (usually in advance) that is the best spot to propose. Because your always on the go and close together I didn't have a chance to pull him a side and let him in on the plan. I had no plan! haha. In the end, I proposed and I have stunning pictures to prove it. He also gave us that extra privacy to relish the moment. An extra thanks for that. If you have read this far then your just as excited as I was reading other peoples reviews. They're not lying. He's good, real good. Worth every penny if not more. Because we were there for only a short period of time, the photos had to be mailed. We received them just as promised! Marc, Leigh and I can not THANK YOU enough for making us feel so comfortable in a city such as New York. We fell in love with her and can't wait to go back. Best wishes to you. | My fiancee and I have been to New York City numerous times but didn't really have any great pictures of us in the city. The tour was so thorough (Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central Station, Brooklyn Bridge, SoHo and Greenwich Village) and the pictures are outstanding-so many to choose from to give our family and friends. Having pictures taken at iconic New York City sites is such a wonderful way to commermorate our special times we have spent together over the years in New York City. I would strongly recommend this experience to anyone seeking beautiful pictures to capture their memories in the great city of New York! | ||||||
