| I loved our tour guide Marc Samuels. He was fantastic! He took my husband and I thru the best of NYC. He took some fantastic pictures with great ideas that we would not of thought of. He gave us some great advice on how to navigate thru the subway system and the diffrent streets and how they work. He was very nice and even helped us with a little video thru a church. It was so nice having our own private tour guide and taking pictures of us. We felt like very important people and I am so glad we took the tour and would recommend it to anyone. I loved his website and that is where I got the idea to use the tour! I would love to come back there someday with some girlfriends and I will remember this place for sure. | My cousin and I went on the PhotoTrek Tour the second day of our trip. Without the tour, we would never have been able to see Times Square, Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, and SOHO all in one day. He made us feel very comfortable with the subways, and the pictures were great. It rocked! | ||||||

| The photographer was professional, courteous, knowlegable and FUN! We got to pick what we wanted to see. We got some brief background histories on the places we visited; just enough to remember. Most importantly, we have GOOD pictures of us TOGETHER! | ||||||

| Me and my husband totally enyoyed this tour.....it was fantastic. Not only do you get a look around the city from an insider who can tell you things a book or map can't.......you also get your magical moments captured on film. From a couples point of view, most of our pictures was me here, Dave there but with this all the photos are of you together, enjoying the experience!!! If you fancy a tour thats a bit different and that is no-where else in the world then this is the tour for you!! Have fun, let us know your thoughts :-) Danielle x | ||||||

| Mark was a lot of fun- Man did we cover a lot of ground in 2 hours. From Manhattan to Brooklyn Bridge . Tons of great pictures that we never could have gotten without him ! Fast paced-wear your walking shoes. Would do it again and would certainly recommend it.I only wish we were able to do it earlier in our vacation-book early! | ||||||

| Myself and our group (4), totally recommend others to take the Photo Tour with Marc. The photos came out great and the shots he got were better than any we would have gotten on our own. Marc was such a nice guy and so knowledgeable about NYC. He not only snapped us in different "hot spots" but also shared with us history about the different areas we were visiting, showed us how to use the subway system and made sure that we were pleased with the photos and locations as well. Our photo tour was very special, as my brother John, proposed to his girlfriend at the end of the tour in Central Park. Marc knew this was planned up front and was sure to capture every moment of it on camera so her family could share in the memories as well. He did just that and did a superb job. If you have family or friends going to NYC soon, the PhotoTrek Tour is a must do and totally worth the $. As others suggest, take it your first or second day in town so you can get the full benefits of in learning your way around with Marc's guidance as well! | ||||||

| OMG! What fun we had! My husband and I were planning a trip to NYC, (Nov 2007) so I did some info searching on the Internet. One of the pages I landed on had an ad for Photo Trek Tours. I clicked on it. What a fabulous idea! My husband and I take lots of pictures, but come home with just a few of the two of us together. I read all of the reviews - if you are reading them - listen to all of them that tell you to be READY to walk! haha OMG - Marc had us going at a good clip! We saw more than I thought possible in two hours. Bonus - he taught us how to use the Subway (your new best friend), so the rest of our visit in NYC was so simple for getting around! Marc is a great guy - full of information and a spectacular personality. He kept us entertained. We had a great time in two hours, saw a lot, learned a lot and had a CD with a TON of great pictures delivered to our hotel room the next day! I have already used one of them for our Christmas card! Everybody loved them! If you are reading the reviews - I know you are interested. Trust me - it's worth it! I would love to go back and do it again with a bigger group of friends! Marc even recommended a place for our first NY pizza experience! It was great too! Do it!!!! PS - do the PhotoTour your first day if you can - it really helps you get a feel for the city and subway for the rest of your stay! | ||||||

| I work for the military and was sent to NYC for a conference. I had never been to NY and the only reference I had for the city was what I had seen on TV, I asked my husband to go along with me, not only for a mini-vacation on my off time, but because I was basically scared of the big bad city and what I may encounter. When I found this guided tour on line, I decided it would be good for us to do. I was so pleased when we met our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and put me at ease immediately. He even managed to get me to relax enough to get off the beaten path, ride on the subway and see other parts of the city. The pictures he took were an added plus and well worth the money spent. Very rarely do my husband and I go on vacation and have pictures of both us together enjoying ourselves. I would encourage everyone visiting NYC to take advantage of this guided tour. Thank you so much Mark for your hospitality and if you ever get to Florida, look us up. We'll give you a guided tour of our beautiful emerald coast beaches and since you said you've never been, we'll even take you to a WalMart! ;) Brad and Neva Smith | ||||||

| Highly Recommend this Tour – do it FIRST! Gives a great “flavor” of NYC and makes it easier for you to find your way around later. Marc is a gem. He knows photography and he knows NYC. All along our tour he gave us pointers and told us about the city as only a native New Yorker could do. We started down Times Square and before we knew it were in the subway buying our pass for the week and ready to take a subway ride uptown to Central Park. We took some shots in the Park. Walked through a small portion of the park on the southeast corner and then headed east to Lexington Ave. to catch the subway heading to the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked to about the halfway point on the Bridge for more photos and some spectacular views of the skyline. Working our way back to the subway we headed uptown and got off at Chinatown and walked from Chinatown to Little Italy Walking through Little Italy we headed toward Soho (South of Houston – Hows-ton) and found some great little streets that were hidden. From Soho we made it to the edge of Greenwich Village where the tour ended. And since he showed us how to use the Subway, it was easy to find our way back! We had THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME with Marc. | We booked this at the last minute and we were so glad that we found it. We spent 2 memorable hours with Marc who is very knowledgable and enthusiatic about his home town. We got pictures of ourselves that we would never have otherwise been able to get, in locations that we might not have visited without Marc's guidance. The photos were great and the disc arrived at our hotel within 24 hours. Very impressed with the service. Although it had been raining, Marc had a 'plan B' so that we would not miss out, however we did not need this as the weather held. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anybody visiting NYC and we would definately consider taking another one of Marc's tours. We loved every minute of it !! | ||||||

| My wife and I took the three-hour tour because this was our first time to Manhattan and we wanted to get a feel for the entire city. We scheduled our PhotoTrek tour to start 30 minutes after arriving in town and immediately hit the streets to take photos. Our tour covered a lot of ground and the photographs turned out incredible. In fact, I would probably do it again if I ever went to New York, just to get more photographs. We have photos of Grand Central Station, Times Square, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Little Italy, Chinatown, the inside of a subway car. At first, we were completely confused with the subway system, but after our photo tour, we were riding the subways like the locals. If I had taken the photos myself, they wouldn't have had both my wife and I in the same photo, so it was great to have someone else snapping the pictures while we walked around and toured the city. At times it felt like we had paparazi following us around. Make sure you bring some good walking shoes because you will be moving the whole time. I wish I would have brought a few different shirts to provide some variety in the photos so that they all don't look like they were shot on the same day. I would leave purses, backpacks or handbags at the hotel room. They can become an extra hassle while posing for quick photos. | ||||||

| We would recomend anyone coming to new york to try out a photo trek tour. Not only have we got some great photos but our guide Marc made the tour interesting and pointed out areas that we would not have visited but for this tour. We now have some photos of new york that would have been impossible without this tour. Ten out of Ten | ||||||

| My husband and I are from the UK, and only had two days to see New York City. Marc's tour was fantastic. I can't think of a better way to orientate yourself with the city, learn a bit about the city, work out how the subway works and get a CD full of wonderful photographs of the whole family. Marc was very friendly and relaxed, and adapted the tour to include a couple of things we specifically wanted to see. The CD of photographs arrived in the UK really quickly and we are so pleased with the photographs. I will be telling everyone I can about this tour!!! | ||||||
