| Marc was a great tour guide and photographer. My friend Tina and I had a great time and learned so much! We let him know what we had seen so far and he took us to different areas in the city and took some really great photos that would have been impossible to get without bothering a lot of people. Be ready to do some serious walking! I loved it! | ||||||

| I'm going to need more than 3000 characters! haha. My girlfriend, now fiance, booked the 2hr tour, 2 days before we got to the city and are very, very happy we did. Marc wasn't only knowledgeable, professional as well as entertaining. He was a friend. In less then 10 minutes, you felt as if you knew him for years. We felt that the pictures we're just a bonus of the tour. We were only visiting a couple of days, but after the tour we had the knowledge and confidence to get around and go where we wanted without a moment's hesitation. In a city like New York, that's priceless in my opinion. Let's talk photo's. Absolutely brilliant! I work in an industry that deals with photography on a daily basis. His technique and knowledge is superb. He knows how to get the best out of you without compromising the background which is what we, as customers, want to see. For example, when we made it to the Brooklyn Bridge, it was jam packed. But in the photos ... where did they go? Some pictures looked like we were the only ones on the bridge! And it's not like people are stopping for you take photos either. People are on the move 24-7. That is what I call true talent. The highlight of the tour for me had to be Central Park. This is where I proposed. Marc, has a link on his website specifically for Weddings and Romance. I saw the link but never click on it. Funny story, and I'm sure he'll agree, is that I picked the exact spot where he tells the future groom, (usually in advance) that is the best spot to propose. Because your always on the go and close together I didn't have a chance to pull him a side and let him in on the plan. I had no plan! haha. In the end, I proposed and I have stunning pictures to prove it. He also gave us that extra privacy to relish the moment. An extra thanks for that. If you have read this far then your just as excited as I was reading other peoples reviews. They're not lying. He's good, real good. Worth every penny if not more. Because we were there for only a short period of time, the photos had to be mailed. We received them just as promised! Marc, Leigh and I can not THANK YOU enough for making us feel so comfortable in a city such as New York. We fell in love with her and can't wait to go back. Best wishes to you. Sincerely, Jason and Leigh (soon to be) Hotle | ||||||

| My fiancee and I have been to New York City numerous times but didn't really have any great pictures of us in the city. The tour was so thorough (Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central Station, Brooklyn Bridge, SoHo and Greenwich Village) and the pictures are outstanding-so many to choose from to give our family and friends. Having pictures taken at iconic New York City sites is such a wonderful way to commermorate our special times we have spent together over the years in New York City. I would strongly recommend this experience to anyone seeking beautiful pictures to capture their memories in the great city of New York! | ||||||

| Marc did a wonderful job on our walking tour of NYC. I surprised my sweetheart with a proposal in Central Park during the tour and Marc captured the moment beautifully. He was attentive but also knew when to give us a few minutes to spend "our time" together. Thank you Marc! SCQ | ||||||

| Imagine you’re visiting a new city. It would be great if you knew someone who lived there for years, and really loved the place and couldn’t wait to show you around. Oh, and if he would take pictures, lots of pictures of you and your wife together so you didn’t have to decide who gets to pose in front of what. If you don’t have that friend in the Big Apple, the Best of New York tour is a close second. Spending our first day in the city walking around with Marc was a great way to get a feel for it, and especially to see a few off-the beaten path corners adjacent to more well-known spots. If you’re looking for something a little different from a typical bus—or even walking—tour, you won’t be disappointed if you go with Marc. | ||||||

| My roomate and I went to NYC for Spring Break and neither of us had ever been. So, we wanted to see all of the major sites, and since there were only 2 of us, we figured it would be hard to get great pictures of the both of us together at the sites. While online booking our trip, we saw the ad for the PhotoTrek Tour and decided to do it. It was the best decision ever! We got to see Central Park, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Soho. It was so EXCITING! And the photographer was friendly and so helpful! And the pictures turned out AMAZING!!! It was well worth the Money and I would recommend it to anyone who has never been! | ||||||

| My husband and I started our vacation in NYC with this tour. It was a great way to start the trip because we were able to see many parts of the city in a short amount of time. Mark showed us how to use the subway which we continued to use our entire trip. We never took a taxi or used any other form of transportation while in NYC. We were thrilled with the photos, and have many lasting memories of places we enjoyed in NYC. Most of the places on the tour my husband and I later visited again. The tour moves quickly, but it gives a great overview of some of the many wonderful places to visit. Mark gives suggestions on activities and he gave us a great tip on restaurant week. We were able to make reservations and enjoy a great dinner. Great experience and wonderful way to get some great pictures. | ||||||

| It was nice having pictures of my husband and myself rather than just one of us or having to bug strangers take our picture. Our tour guide was very energetic and had alot of knowledge to share about NY. He was creative with his photo's and they turned out wonderful! | ||||||

| Mark (our tour guide and photographer) provided a very informative tour of the city with lots of recommendations for the remainder of of weekend stay. Our 2 hour tour included Central Park, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, and SoHo. The 140+ photos will provide lasting memories of this valentine weekend getaway... and the photographs came out great. | ||||||

| The photographer was very friendly, punctual and knowledgeable about the local area. I got to know first hand (and first feet) NYC by pounding the pavement and having a blast at it. Highly recommend the tour | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I came up to New York for the weekend specifically to go on this tour, we planned our whole weekend around it. Marc was amazing and the pictures we came home with will last a lifetime. We really feel like we accomplished everything we wanted to see during our time with Marc. As a native New Yorker, he had tons of information on the history of the city and landmarks. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to the city. Even though I've been to New York on several occasions, it was the best way I've ever truly "seen" the city. Thanks March for the fantastic pics and wonderful memories! | ||||||

| I truly enjoyed my Photo Trek tour with Marc. He gave us a great tour and was so easy to travel with around the city. I was really afraid that my boyfriend wouldn't like to tour and having to stop and pose for pictures, but it wasn't awkward at all! He actually ended up really enjoying it and loves the pictures. I am so glad that we went on this tour, because we saw some great spots of NYC that we might of missed and we got a lot of great pictures that we will cherish for years to come. I thought that this was the best purchase that I made on the entire trip! My family and friends have thoroughly enjoyed our pictures. If you want great pictures and a really great tour, don't hesitate, sign up for this tour! You will not be disappointed! | ||||||

| This was the favorite part of our trip to NYC! Marc was fantastic! I went with my 16 year old daughter and her friend and I saw sights I had never seen before in New York. Marc taught us how to use the subway and feel totally safe in the big city. He gave us sooo many tips and is worth every penny on just his tour guide! The fact that we have unbelievable pictures and memories forever is just icing on the cake! Thank you for a great experience in NYC! | ||||||

| Marc was very accommodating, personable and informative! He made me and my daughter (17 yrs. old) feel very comfortable and just generated alot of laughs. We were able to see quite a few places in such a short period of time which was great because we were only visiting for 2 days. We visited Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Soho, Greenwich Village and Central Park. I just got my CD with my photos and they were fun to look at! About 140 in all for just 2 hours and most were keepers. There were some posing pictures, but alot of candid shots which were a perfect mix. I definitely recommend walking shoes and proper weather gear as my daughter quickly learned that cold weather in NYC isn't so fun without them. | ||||||

| I took my 16 year old son, Jason, on our first Father/Son trip to NYC for a New Years Eve in Times Square adventure. We are from Mississippi and neither of us had ever travelled to NYC so, honestly, we were more than a little nervous coming to this giant city. On vacations in the past we would always have to take pictures of us individually or together at arms length. That's no fun so we decided to try out the Best of New York tours, see the city and have some great shots made of BOTH of us. To make the most of the journey we opted for the three hour tour, which I highly recommend you do if you really want to see NYC at it's heart! Marc from PhotoTrek Tours met us at our hotel right on time and off we went. Marc is a fantastic guy! Very friendly and knowledgeable! He took us all over the city, showing us how to navigate the subway system and learn the street grids. We walked through and learned all about SOHO (which I now know means "South of Houston - pronounced How-sten), Greenwich Village, Central Park, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge. While planning this trip we knew we wanted to see the Empire State, the Statue of Liberty and all of the typical New York sites. Well, we did that but the Best of New York tour showed us much more than that. We truly saw the Best of New York. We saw the heart of the city in the Greenwich Village neighborhoods with the small shops and restaurants. We walked under the arches of the Brooklyn Bridge. We ate the best pizza I have ever tasted at Bleeker St Pizza ( highly recommended by Marc and now me). It was like I told Marc, Times Square may be the "shock" but the Village and SOHO were the "Ahhhh!" We rode the subways and took photos in Times Square with the hundreds of yellow cabs whizzing by. I can honestly say that our trip would not have been so successful or been as much fun if we had not taken this tour. As promised, Marc brought a CD of all of our photos to our hotel the next morning and, now that I am home and have had time to review them, all I can say is WOW! Dozens and dozens of great shots that my son and I will always cherish! If you have never been to New York and want a great way to see the sites (and more!) and have some great pictures and memories then you will be missing out if you don't book a PhotoTrek Tour! Thanks again Marc for an amazing adventure! 5 stars doesn't come close to the rating you deserve! If I could leave 10 that still might not be enough!! Excellent tour!! Thanks!
