| What an experience! Marc was fantastic, he showed us so many different areas of New York and how to use the subway. As a result, we covered so much ground and felt really confident getting around the city after the tour. Marc has loads of tips and info to share about the City and it really is a fantastic experience when you get home and share it with your friends and family. | ||||||

| The photo tour was exciting and fun. We were enjoying ourselves so much we didn't even realize how much of New York we had covered. Mark is so quick with the photographs and knows the best places to take them. We would never have taken anything like these photos on our own. All four of us in the group recommend this trip to others visiting in New York City. Thanks Mark we will cherish our photos. | ||||||

| The tour gives you a GREAT feeling of NYC and really helps to understand the many sites/locations of the city. I'm recommending Marc Samuels to anybody that we know who visits here to personally give the tour. He shared his knowledge of the city with us and is a great listener too. He had lot of positive energy like we're his good friends from the past. We started in Central Park, visited the local neighborhoods, walked by Columbus Circle, Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central Station (whispering corners I liked), subway rides/educated us on this (very very helpful), Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village, Soho, Litte Italy and on and on. The walk up the Brooklyn bridge was exciting. When we were in the middle of the bridge, the views were so beautiful. As with Central Park and all of the other areas, we were able to appreciate the sites we've only known from television. We know now that every time we go anywhere we will be commenting on this tour. The day after our tour with Marc, we were with my brother & sister in-law and wanted to go see the cast of RENT in Bryant park. The great part was that we were able to lead the way. The tour was so complete in that we remembered how to get around to many of the places we visited just by following Marc's comments and directions. In short, we had a FABULOUS, WONDERFUL, EVENTFUL time all made so much better because of our tour with Marc. Thank you very much. | I'm going to need more than 3000 characters! haha. My girlfriend, now fiance, booked the 2hr tour, 2 days before we got to the city and are very, very happy we did. Marc wasn't only knowledgeable, professional as well as entertaining. He was a friend. In less then 10 minutes, you felt as if you knew him for years. We felt that the pictures we're just a bonus of the tour. We were only visiting a couple of days, but after the tour we had the knowledge and confidence to get around and go where we wanted without a moment's hesitation. In a city like New York, that's priceless in my opinion. Let's talk photo's. Absolutely brilliant! I work in an industry that deals with photography on a daily basis. His technique and knowledge is superb. He knows how to get the best out of you without compromising the background which is what we, as customers, want to see. For example, when we made it to the Brooklyn Bridge, it was jam packed. But in the photos ... where did they go? Some pictures looked like we were the only ones on the bridge! And it's not like people are stopping for you take photos either. People are on the move 24-7. That is what I call true talent. The highlight of the tour for me had to be Central Park. This is where I proposed. Marc, has a link on his website specifically for Weddings and Romance. I saw the link but never click on it. Funny story, and I'm sure he'll agree, is that I picked the exact spot where he tells the future groom, (usually in advance) that is the best spot to propose. Because your always on the go and close together I didn't have a chance to pull him a side and let him in on the plan. I had no plan! haha. In the end, I proposed and I have stunning pictures to prove it. He also gave us that extra privacy to relish the moment. An extra thanks for that. If you have read this far then your just as excited as I was reading other peoples reviews. They're not lying. He's good, real good. Worth every penny if not more. Because we were there for only a short period of time, the photos had to be mailed. We received them just as promised! Marc, Leigh and I can not THANK YOU enough for making us feel so comfortable in a city such as New York. We fell in love with her and can't wait to go back. Best wishes to you. | We bought this as a surprise for a friend in the UK who was visiting New York with her husband as a surprise for her 40th birthday. It was a great success, as they had a personal guided tour of New York and the photos are a great momento of her special trip. It was a brilliant success and is a fantastic gift for anyone. | This was a really special trip as 2 of our group were celebrating their 40th's. So we really wanted to capture the trip on film as well as see bits of New York that we'd not seen before. Plus its good to do a tour with a difference. Our guide/photographer was really informative and if it wasn't for him we would never have gone on the subway and understood how it works. This tour was recommended to us by others that have used this service and we were NOT disappointed at all. I will and have already recommended this tour to all my friends. Money well spent. | ||||||

| I booked this for my new husband and I as we spent our honeymoon in New York. It was absolutely the best! Marc was so friendly, energetic and full of local knowledge. We covered so much ground in our four hours and the photos are fantastic - they'll be going in our official wedding album. We did it on our first full day and got a great insight into New York and the different areas of Manhattan. My advice is to definitely take this trip, but a word of warning - wear the most comfortable shoes you can find as you will never stop! | ||||||

| the photographer is very a very enthusiastic individual and knows his where abouts of new york city: history, famous landmarks, and little wonders that a tourist would not know, only a native. walking shoes is definately recommended since we do walk all around the city and it's a great way to know the subway system since that's the means of travel on tour. photograph was good. photographer is game for any pose and is willing to adjust to what the customer wants. if there is a certain pose and a certain background you would like pictured, please do ask and he will provide. close up pictures, full length body shorts and half shots are done. however, there was much of the same background pictures done, with indivduals being too close up in the pictures. maybe a little more background would capture the surrounding area. overall, we were satisfied with our pictures. the photographer did deliver our cds promptly as well as met at the arranged time in the morning. | ||||||

| What a fantastic experience!! Everything, from the booking to the actual tour itself was flawless, absolutely everything I could have wanted. Seriously, this is the best idea ever for vacationing friends/couples who have the problem of never getting to be in your own pictures! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the sights and the city. Even past just the usual "tour guide script," he answered all of our questions, and was completely accommodating and customized the tour to cover the places we wanted to see. When I return to the city in the future with other friends or family, I will definitely insist on this being one of our activities again. Pictures were fantastic, and were ready the next day! Overall, a completely amazing experience, and one that I will definitely be doing again. | ||||||

| Marc was very accommodating, personable and informative! He made me and my daughter (17 yrs. old) feel very comfortable and just generated alot of laughs. We were able to see quite a few places in such a short period of time which was great because we were only visiting for 2 days. We visited Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Soho, Greenwich Village and Central Park. I just got my CD with my photos and they were fun to look at! About 140 in all for just 2 hours and most were keepers. There were some posing pictures, but alot of candid shots which were a perfect mix. I definitely recommend walking shoes and proper weather gear as my daughter quickly learned that cold weather in NYC isn't so fun without them. | ||||||
