| We thoroughly enjoyed our photo tour which we booked for the afternoon after getting married at City Hall. Our main reason for booking was to get some iconic New York photos of us on our wedding day. Mark was both professional and laid back, putting us at ease. Being typically reserved English we were a little nervous that we would feel rather foolish being photographed, however, we needn't have worried, it was great fun and we got loads of pictures we would otherwise have never had. As we were flying home the next day, Mark was even able to get our photos to the hotel on the same day for which we were very grateful. As we had been in the city for a few days and done a lot of exploring ourselves we were familiar with a lot of the places that Mark took us to, however, we still learnt more about these places and Mark showed us things we had missed. We are delighted with our fabulous photos and the great experience we had. Thank you. | ||||||

| I found Photo Trek Tours when I did a search for Tours in New York City. I was initially so excited to find such a tour and then after the tour was finished, I was even more thrilled!! Marc was very enthusiastic and so very accommodating. He is a native of New York therefore full of information and insight. He gave the tour at our speed was so flexible when we requested a diversion from our initial itinerary. We liked the tour so much that I told two more couples we met on our trip about Marc and about Photo Trek Tours. The only thing I would have changed is that I wished we would have booked the tour for three hours instead of just two. I would have liked to have liked to have Marc around to take our pictures at a few more locations and for a little while longer. I will definitely recommend this Tour to anyone I know who is traveling to New York City. I can’t wait until we travel back to New York with our son. I will be so wonderful to book Photo Trek Tours when we have our son with us the next time we visit! | ||||||

| I loved our tour guide Marc Samuels. He was fantastic! He took my husband and I thru the best of NYC. He took some fantastic pictures with great ideas that we would not of thought of. He gave us some great advice on how to navigate thru the subway system and the diffrent streets and how they work. He was very nice and even helped us with a little video thru a church. It was so nice having our own private tour guide and taking pictures of us. We felt like very important people and I am so glad we took the tour and would recommend it to anyone. I loved his website and that is where I got the idea to use the tour! I would love to come back there someday with some girlfriends and I will remember this place for sure. | The photographer was professional, courteous, knowlegable and FUN! We got to pick what we wanted to see. We got some brief background histories on the places we visited; just enough to remember. Most importantly, we have GOOD pictures of us TOGETHER! | ||||||

| We booked the 2hour personal photo tour and would definately recommend it. Photos are great and with all the famous backgrounds, Broadway, Times Square, The Subway, Grand Central Station,Lexington Ave,Brooklyn Bridge and finished up in Soho.We got all the photos we needed on this tour and more time to enjoy the sights.So would definately recommend this tour. | ||||||

| This was a wonderful activity to do with our daughter. We got some great professional quality shots with beautiful NYC backgrounds. Mark was game for hiking in the snow to get the shots re quested of other Central Park landmarks that were not on the "scheduled" list. As a scrapbooker, the photos are great! Everyone loves the pictures and many have asked how many strangers we got to take our picture. We did the 2hr tour and ended up with over 200 pictures. | Thank you so much for such a good time during our photo tour. It was well worth the money and we loved all the pictures that we got to take home. We loved our guide and he was an amazing photographer. We loved all the poses he put us in around the city. These pictures are memories to treasure for the rest of our lives. Next time we come to New York we will bring our kids and take the same photo tour again. See you in a few years. We loved New York and we would love to live there. You have an awesome job. | It was just the two of us, so it was wonderful to have someone take pictures of the BOTH of us instead of either having just one of us in all of the pics, or bugging other people to take pictures that may or may not be any good. The pictures are beautiful. Also, being first timers to NYC, he gave recommendations about certain areas and restaurants we would personally enjoy and also REALLY helped us learn the subway system. That was one of the best parts of this tour. We learned so much that we would have had no idea about, if it weren't for him. (By the way Marc~ if you are reading this, we ROCKED the subway system the days after your tour thanks to you!! | Before we left for New York we emailed Marc to submit our preferred sites to visit. His answers were prompt, polite and well informed. He developed our tour itinerary with our desires in mind and his logistical knowledge of what we could achieve in the time limit. It was so fantastic, we will never forget it! We loved that we were being shown around by a local, and even got a great mini-lesson in how US politics works while we rode the subway!! My favourite part of the tour was when we were on the Brooklyn Bridge looking back at the gorgeous skyline and we asked marc about where he was on September 11 and how it affected him.We were on the go the whole time, but never felt rushed. It was perfect! Our photos are amazing and everyone we have shown them to has been so jealous! He even dropped the cd to our hotel that very night. Having never been to a city like NY before, and having only one week to see it, we never would have experienced all those places if not for Phototrek tours. | ||||||

| We were excited to take this tour when we first read about it - the actual experience far surpassed our expectations. I loved the experience. The historical commentary was interesting and being photographed in so many interesting places was exciting. We now have great pictures of ourselves in NY during a magical time of year. | Myself and our group (4), totally recommend others to take the Photo Tour with Marc. The photos came out great and the shots he got were better than any we would have gotten on our own. Marc was such a nice guy and so knowledgeable about NYC. He not only snapped us in different "hot spots" but also shared with us history about the different areas we were visiting, showed us how to use the subway system and made sure that we were pleased with the photos and locations as well. Our photo tour was very special, as my brother John, proposed to his girlfriend at the end of the tour in Central Park. Marc knew this was planned up front and was sure to capture every moment of it on camera so her family could share in the memories as well. He did just that and did a superb job. If you have family or friends going to NYC soon, the PhotoTrek Tour is a must do and totally worth the $. As others suggest, take it your first or second day in town so you can get the full benefits of in learning your way around with Marc's guidance as well! | ||||||

| We loved the experience of going around town with Marc.....He was really great and took a load of great pictures. (there wasn't a bad picture in the bunch) My daughter and I would not have these great pictures if we had done them ourselves........for one we don't know the great spots with the views that Marc does....and two we wouldn't of been able to take pictures of us together........and you know getting a stranger to do it and be that good is unlikely!!!!!!! I am so glad we did it and when we go again (with the whole family) The only tip I will give is be sure to wear comfortable (walking) shoes. We wore hills and our feet didn't feel too good that evening. There is some walking and it isn't much if you are in comfortable shoes, but hills will make you feel like you walked 10 miles. I am so glad we did it and when we go again (with the whole family) I will definately give Marc a call!!!! Well worth it. | When my parents decided to take my boyfriend and I to NY for Thanksgiving, I wanted to make sure it was a great experience for Morgan since he had never been to the BIG Apple. I found PhotoTrek Tours and thought it was perfect for our trip. The day we arrived we met Mark a few hours after we landed. Though it began to drizzle, we decided to go with it and do the tour anyway. Shortly through the tour the rain stopped. The photos came out awesome, and we learned so much from Mark that I did not even know my first time in NY back in 2000. It made it so much easier to have our photos taken rather than asking someone to take them for us. We got a crash course in the sites and let me tell you, I have never walked so much before in my life!. Thanks Mark you were great. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has not been to NY. My parents even loved the pictures and will be coming back in May. They are definitely going to do the tour. GREAT experience and fUN!!!!!!!!!!!
