| This was the number one best thing we did during our trip to New York. Would recommend this to everyone, the tour was great - we really got around everywhere - and the photos were fantastic!!! This guy is a great photographer and knows the city well. Well worth the money, like your own personal tour and we have the best photo keepsakes from any trip we have every taken. | ||||||

| What a wonderful way to see the city and have the photos to prove it! Marc did a wonderful job of giving interesting facts and of capturing all the fun we had on this trip. We never felt rushed, rather it felt like a friend taking you on a tour of his home town. I highly recommend Marc and Phototrek! T.A., Arkansas | ||||||

| OMG! What fun we had! My husband and I were planning a trip to NYC, (Nov 2007) so I did some info searching on the Internet. One of the pages I landed on had an ad for Photo Trek Tours. I clicked on it. What a fabulous idea! My husband and I take lots of pictures, but come home with just a few of the two of us together. I read all of the reviews - if you are reading them - listen to all of them that tell you to be READY to walk! haha OMG - Marc had us going at a good clip! We saw more than I thought possible in two hours. Bonus - he taught us how to use the Subway (your new best friend), so the rest of our visit in NYC was so simple for getting around! Marc is a great guy - full of information and a spectacular personality. He kept us entertained. We had a great time in two hours, saw a lot, learned a lot and had a CD with a TON of great pictures delivered to our hotel room the next day! I have already used one of them for our Christmas card! Everybody loved them! If you are reading the reviews - I know you are interested. Trust me - it's worth it! I would love to go back and do it again with a bigger group of friends! Marc even recommended a place for our first NY pizza experience! It was great too! Do it!!!! PS - do the PhotoTour your first day if you can - it really helps you get a feel for the city and subway for the rest of your stay! | ||||||

| I work for the military and was sent to NYC for a conference. I had never been to NY and the only reference I had for the city was what I had seen on TV, I asked my husband to go along with me, not only for a mini-vacation on my off time, but because I was basically scared of the big bad city and what I may encounter. When I found this guided tour on line, I decided it would be good for us to do. I was so pleased when we met our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and put me at ease immediately. He even managed to get me to relax enough to get off the beaten path, ride on the subway and see other parts of the city. The pictures he took were an added plus and well worth the money spent. Very rarely do my husband and I go on vacation and have pictures of both us together enjoying ourselves. I would encourage everyone visiting NYC to take advantage of this guided tour. Thank you so much Mark for your hospitality and if you ever get to Florida, look us up. We'll give you a guided tour of our beautiful emerald coast beaches and since you said you've never been, we'll even take you to a WalMart! ;) Brad and Neva Smith | ||||||

| He was very nice and friendly and in terms of the work, he is a pro, he knows what he is doing. Our trip went super well, and he even gave us extra minutes of his time. If someone else will be reading this for a recommendation, you can book the tour with your eyes closed. This is how good this guy is. | ||||||

| I would recommend this to anyone visiting New York, particularly if it's their first time. It was mine & my boyfriends first time visiting the city and the tour was brilliant for us to be shown the sights by a true New Yorker! Although the tour was fantastic, what is really special are the photographs; we now have loads of beautiful pictures that we will treasure for many years and they are of both us together. We found Mark to be great company and a brilliant tour guide; he was helpful and friendly. I loved the tour and the photographs...highly recommend to everyone! Thanks! Jo, Nottingham, UK | ||||||

| What a brilliant way to see the Big Apple. We had a great time with Marc who really knows his city - plus, he's a great guy. He was very considerate and looked after us well, taking us to parts of New York we would not otherwise have had time to see if we were exploring on our own. We are already telling all our friends that if they come to NYC they MUST book a tour with Marc. Truely brilliant - the photos are already printed out and up in the house, reminding us of our great holiday. Thanks so much Marc, we will definitely see you again when we come back to the Big Apple - although that might take a while!......but we will see you then!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| I enjoyed my personal photo tour with Marc, who tried his best to squeeze in as many different shots of me in various locations in Manhattan as possible as I had a very packed day of activities following that and could not spend more than 2 and a half hours with him. Good way for single travellers to get good photos of themselves "on location" ! You also get all your photos in a CD the very same day after the tour, which is very efficient & convenient as it was my last day in NY. Thanks, Marc ! | ||||||

| We were in NY for our honeymoon. We knew before we left it was going to be a challenge getting pics of the two of us together. I could not be happier that we found and booked the photo tour!!! We got to see sites that we may not have otherwise found or gone to and got amazing pictures to show for an amazing trip!!!! It rained the day we were scheduled to initially go, but we got everything rescheduled and still made the tour before we left NY. They are great to work with and made every effort to make our tour exactly what we wanted. Love the pictures!!!!! | ||||||

| Mark was great, he really knows New York and he does a great job of showing you the highlights. We had a great time and got great pictures to show for it. Plus he shows you the subway system and that is a great way to start off your trip especially if your city doesn't have one. Highly recommended!!! | ||||||

| We loved every minute of the tour with Marc (our photographer and tour guide extraordinaire), and he ensured we saw as much as possible in a two hour time frame. The photos are absolutely fantastic and show New York in all it's glory, and amazingly he made us look pretty good too! Being a true local Marc showed us places we would not have visited on our own, and recommended 'John's Pizza' - the best pizza in New York! Despite my boyfriend being a little nervous about having his photo taken over 100 times Marc quickly put him at ease, and his sense of humour was appreciated. We would also suggest doing this tour as soon as you arrive in the Big Apple, as it gives you a really good sense of where things are positioned and the subway system - the best way to get around. We can not recommend this tour highly enough - it made our time in New York extra special and we have the photos to prove it. Worth every cent. | ||||||

| Do this when you first get to NYC. Before you get blisters from all the walking you'll do while in NYC. Be ready to cover a lot of ground, and quickly, while having pictures taken of you by your personal paparazzi who is also a native Manhattanite. Mark will point out sites in the city that most tourist would never see on their own. Hanging off cables while on the Brooklyn Bridge are our favorite shots. | ||||||

| I recommend this tour, it was a great way to see a lot of places in a short time. We weren't sure about taking a walking tour but we are very glad that we did and you get to see everything hands on. We had a wonderful time and thank you again Mark, you were a great tour guide. | ||||||

| After an early start to meet Mark, we spent 3 hours seeing some amazing sights, he took us to places we would never thought of going - Brooklyn Bridge, Soho, etc., and provided us with some insider knowledge. The tour is fast paced and heavy going on the feet but totally worth it. Wear comfortable shoes, take along some water and let him guide round the city. An excellent activity to start anyone's trip. | ||||||
