| I would strongly recommend this activity to anyone visiting New York; usually I am the one who ends up taking all the photos (which means I am hardly ever in any of them!) and with this tour that isn’t an issue. More importantly though along with some great photo's you are accompanied by a very friendly and knowledgeable local guide. Marc's tips were invaluable to our group and allowed us to discover parts of NYC that we would have otherwise been oblivious to. | ||||||

| My husband and I were so glad we found out about Mark and took his photo tour of NY's finest. He was so easy to talk to and we learned so much about his city. He snapped pictures with ease which made our time so enjoyable. Be ready to walk a lot which allows for a packed two hours. We love our pictures and tell everyone they have to take this tour. I also would recommend taking the tour early in your visit because he gives great ideas of where his favorite places are. So glad we met you, Mark. Thanks! Scott and Bev | ||||||

| The Personal Photo Tour was one of the best tours that we booked during our stay in New York. Our photographer was very informative and kept us going at a quick pace. We were able to see many different sights of New York plus get some wonderful photo's. We did the photo tour on our first day so that we were able to go back if we wanted to, to see things for longer if we wanted. I would HIGHLY reccommend that people get these tours done. | ||||||

| We are so happy we decided to book with Phototrek tours, we have been overseas before and always got too carried away to worry about taking photos of each other. The hard thing about travelling as a couple is never getting photos that you are both in, now we have the most memorable photos that we can't stop looking at even 6 months down the track. Marc was a lot of fun, he worked so fast that we were able to have photos taken in so many locations. We went on the tour the second day we were in New York which was great as he showed us how to navigate the subway and made us feel comfortable with the city. He gave us great tips on where to eat, where to shop and where to buy cheap tickets. It is honestly the best thing we did while we were in NY and we would love to do it again if we get the chance to go back, we felt like celebrities as Marc would flash away as we were walking down the street. We couldn't think of a better way to view New York then with your very own personal tour guide and the fact that he is your personal photographer makes the experience so much more worthwhile. | my husband and i booked this tour sept 2008 having never been to to new york we were greeted with not only a professional photographer but a true born and bred new yorker!. our tour guide took us to the best locations for fantastic photo oportunitys and a fantastic informative tour of new york was also included it was fantastic to have someone take great photos without having to ask 20 people along the way. we travel extensively around the world and partake in many tours but i have to say the concept of this tour is right up there with some of the best it was just great. our photos were delivered to our hotel the next morning such great and prompt service. the tour is well worth the money and my husband and i will surely do this tour when we return to this fabulous city thanks for the memories NEW YORK xo Beck & Greg Sydney, Australia | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I were visiting New York together and were looking for a way that we can get lots of pictures together without having to ask others or to do self portaits. Then I found photo Trek Tours online and reserved a spot. This tour was great, Mark, our guide, took us through central park, Time Square, on the subway and the Brooklyn bridge. On top of that he recommened many other activities and areas for us to check out while we were there. The photos are great and Mark was very insightfull, i recommend this tour to all visiting NYC. | Marc Samuel is amazing. We had our honeymoon last summer (August 2008) and the one thing we recommend to everyone who goes to New York is to do this tour! Not only did we wind up with a disc of incredible photos we could of never captured on our own but we learnt a lot about New York, New Yorkers and afterwards felt confident navigating the subway, the streets and pretty much everything else. I would recommend this tour to anyone! Wear comfortable shoes! Do not make my mistake. Also, if you are new to the city, the earlier in the trip the better. The city really overwhelmed us our first night but after a couple of hours with Marc it was just fantastic. The highlight would be us standing on the street with our arms up in the middle of Times Square, we would have never done that without prompting! I really recommend this tour! Great pictures, great advice. He answered all our "silly" questions too! The disc was delivered to our hotel the next day. | ||||||

| I booked this tour late and was only able to get a time slot at the end of our trip. I highly recommend that you take this tour!!! But take it at the beginning of your stay if you are new to NY. Our guide/photographer Marc was a wealth of information about the city as well as the bus lines, subways, etc. things you really need to know in traveling about the city. We saws lots, and over 130+ pictures taken of my daughter and I - not just my daughter!!! LOVE the idea and it was that and more!!!! | ||||||

| We would definately recommend taking the "best of New York"photo tour! It was amazing!! Mark was really great and answered all of our questions and was even nice enough to write down some places for us to see on our own. The pictures turned out great. He did a wonderful job capturing us in front of all the great landmarks of NYC! | ||||||

| My adult daughter and I went to NY for a mother daughter get away and she wanted to do this tour...so we did...it was wonderful...not only all the pictures that were taken (and they were all great) but the sightseeing and pointing out of things that other wise we would have not known...it was a friendly great time and the 3 hours flew by so fast... it was one of the highlights of our trip...would highly recommend especially if your a family or couple and your wanting those pictures that you just can't get when one of you are taking the pictures...well worth it! | ||||||

| Although the cost at first may seem daunting. This is well worth the plunge!! As I was recovering from illness at the time, our guide offered to slow the pace, which I thought was nice. So this trip also offered good catch up time from the two days I had to spend in bed 'dying' and offered to give us the photo experience that showed where we had been. The trip is flexible to your taste's and where you want to see, which I think is a nice touch, whether its your first time to New York City or not. The overall pictures are great, good range and quality, and offers a chance to get pictures you wouldn't normally think of or be bothered to take. Plus it saves you having to take your camera out. Our guide also had a lot of knowledge, so is fantastic for finding out all those little bits, so so you need to think that the price is not just having someone taking your pictures, its getting other city tips, and learning other bits of history. So in all, I thoroughly reccomend this activity, and think of it as not an expense, but an investment into a good time, and memories :) | ||||||

| We use to live in NYC. We returned for a visit and to elope. We wanted photos of our time in NYC and found Photo Trek Tours on the web. Marc did a great job and I highly recommend him. He was friendly, prompt, flexible, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Since our plans did not quite fit the tour description I called and left a voice mail requesting a call back before booking. Marc was prompt in responding and provided me with guidance for booking the tour to fit our needs. Even the booking service Zerve, provided unexpected customer service. I purchased two tours on back to back days for what we had planned. A Zerve customer service representative called me to make sure I had intended to book both tours because they were booked about 15 minutes apart. The Zerve representative wanted to make sure I had not accidentally duplicated the booking with the second purchase. I personally feel this is a sign of quality customer service. During our NYC photo tour Marc had all the bases covered maneuvering the city and catching some great pictures of our time in NYC. Marc was also helpful and informative when we went to city hall to get married. He even was the witness for our ceremony. The photo cd's of our trip were delivered right to our hotel before we departed NYC. I doubt anyone will be disappointed with Marc's service. | ||||||
