| This was our first time in New York and I booked it as a special holiday for my wife. As we were there on our own we wanted something to remember the trip by so we booked this photo tour. We were really pleased that we did as we gained lots of useful information from Mark and found it to be very enjoyable as well as knowledgeable. If you are going to book anything when on a trip to New York then this is a must. | ||||||

| Marc was fantastic, took my CI-Card and shot 144 fantastic pictures on 42nd Street, Times Square, Central Park, Subway, Brookly Bridge, Greenwich Village etc. I only gave him five stars because I coudn't give him six or seven! | ||||||

| The idea is great - a bit more attention to quality/detail (for the price we paid) would have been an improvement. Quality was more important to us than quantity (of photos taken). Otherwise we enjoyed the experience and have some nice pics of our time in New York. | ||||||

| Our phototrek tour with Mark was a fabulous way to begin our stay in NYC. Mark was an excellent tour guide who knows NYC like the back of his hand. He also is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of NYC. He had lots of stories and suggestions for us which we enjoyed. We covered a lot of ground, both on foot and via subway, during our three our tour with him and by the end really felt like we had our bearings for Manhattan and how to use the subway. This experience set us up well for the days ahead that we were spending in NYC. Mark is also an excellent photographer and the disc of photos we received following our time with him are a great souvenir of our trip. He did a wonderful job of photographing our family and friends by all of the famous Manhattan landmarks and we had a lot of fun. Mark had come highly recommended to us so when planning our trip and weighing all of the options of how to spend our money in NYC we decided to have a phototrek tour with Mark - it was great and worth every penny. | ||||||

| We took the photo trek tour on our last day in New York even though the company recommends talking it on your first couple of days. We had both been to NYC before so the photgrapher decided to do a couple of different things. We spent time in Central Park, Upper East Side, Times Square, Grand Central and then walked across the Brooklyn Bridge into Brookyln. It was so much fun and the photographer was very knowledgable. I just got the photos in the mail last week (you would normally get them delivered to your hotel) and they are amazing. This is a really great idea for people wanting some different pictures than the normal tourist attractions. We especially loved to have really great pictures of the two of us together. | ||||||

| Just got back a view days ago and our photo's are stunning! Marc's a great guy, fantastic photographer and he really loves the city and it's beautiful sites. He can tell you a lot about historical buildings and other sites and show you anything you'd like to see. So don't be shuy and just ask him if you want to know or see something specific. The photo quality is good enough to enhance your pictures and the speed of delivery is mostly within 24 hours. Since we were in NYC for just 2 more days this was perfect. For people that don't like to get their picture taken, this is a great tour to book, because you're just walking down the streets, going on the subway, talking a lot and make jokes, it's almost as if the photographer is part of your group. At first we got worried that we would feel awkward, but we really didn't. I can't tell you enough how much we've enjoyed this phototour! Great pictures and lots of sightseeing. The perfect way to cover your citytrip! Especially when you don't have a lot of time or when it's your first time in the city. We'll definately come back to New York and we're 100% sure of making a second phototour with Marc! Once again we bow to Marc, all the way from the Netherlands. See you in a couple of years! | We recently decided to elope to New York and needed someone to take the photos. Marc understood exactly what we wanted and took amazing photos of both the wedding and of our tour of Manhattan afterwards. His formidable local knowledge and helpful attitude meant that our wedding day ended up being even more amazing than we could have ever imagined. He even booked a restaurant for us for that evening which turned out to be spectacular!! All of our friends have gushed over the excellent photos since we returned, and we would therefore recommend phototrek tours to anybody visiting New York! | ||||||

| Marc was an excellent tourguide and photographer who helped us to capture life long memories in photos! We saw NYC as a local would, walking and taking the subway from one location to the next and we saw and learned things that cannot come out of a tour book. Its the first vacation (ever) that we have family photos from which included all 4 of us, and Marc's photo quality and the way that he made sure that the landmarks were part of each photograph, can not be rivalled by the types of amateur photos we would have taken. We had children with us and yet we always felt that our safety was Marc's priority and he kept his eye on all of us at all times. This was an excellent experience for all and we have already recommended it to all of our friends and family! | ||||||

| Having never been to New York and going as a couple we really appreciated the background and knowledge our photographer gave us, we travelled the subway which we would not have done alone and saw many things we would never have otherwise encountered. Our guide `Marc' was friendly and informative, our photographs delivered to the hotel the next day as promised. Pefect start of 5 days visit

| We a couple of 41 yrs old from Hilversum, the Netherlands did the tour on President's Day, on feb the 16th. Tour started at our hotel at 8 am and lasted untill 11 AM ending in the Villages. In these 3 hours we learned to use the subway, saw Broadway, Times square, Central Park, Grand central station, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Village. We originally had planned to tour further on our own after we said bye to Marc our tour guide, but after 45 min in the village following the advise to visit the market we decided to return to the hotel to relax from all the impressions and to view the 164 pictures.(on our request Marc made the pictures in RAW using the CF card we gave him) By using our own CF-card Marc does not have any copies of the pictures for back-up or request in the future. We really enjoyed the combination of the conversations with a local NY-er, Marc 's outstanding knowledge of the environment and the fact that we received the bonus of the pictures. It's well worth the price. Do wear comfy shoes and plan this activity in the beginning of your trip. In the afternoon we returned to visit the Central Park as it was perfect weather, and in the late afternoon we visited Top Rock (advise from Marc) were we had a nice view of the city(including ESB and Central Park). Later we send some pictures to our girls in Holland which they liked very much. | ||||||

| This is something that anybody going to New York should do. We decided to take the tour as it was our first time in New York and also because when there's just two of you, it's difficult to get a lot of pictures together. The pictures that Mark took were brilliant and we ended up with 150 photos, well over the 75 we were initially expecting. Mark turned up 10 mins early and was really friendly and approachable. He was really informative and even showed us how to get around on the subway, which we then ended up using all week! I'd recommend taking the tour early on in your trip as it really helps you find your way around. Mark also dropped the photos disc off at the hotel desk as arranged. We had great time and the pictures we have brought back are fantastic! Mark does a brilliant job and has allowed us to bring back really good photos of a very memorable holiday. Thanks again Mark and hope the New York winter starts to warm up for you soon! | ||||||

| I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone going to New York in any weather. I was taken to places that I could not access on my own and had beautiful photos taken at places that I had never been. Even though it snowed for part of the tour, Marc was enthusiastic all the way. He made me feel like a model, even though I am nowhere near that. I am going to recommend to friends who will be going in the future to make sure they do this rather than some of the other things available in New York. Thank you once again Marc. Caroline | ||||||

Great way to get your pics done around NYC

| My wife and I decided to take this tour so we could see the sites and get some photos of ourselves, which can be quite hard to do. We arrived at the arranged meeting site about 15 minutes early, and Marc was already there waiting for us. After quick introductions and an explanation of the tour, we were off. We sped-walked to Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Avenue, Central Park and took the subway down to Brooklyn Bridge. We got a ton of great shots and a lot of info on all the places we visited. Marc was polite, knowledgeable, and gave us some great tips that we will use on our next New York visit. We would recommend Marc to any of our friends visiting New York. | ||||||
