Great Tour and Great Pictures

| Our Phototrek tour with Marc was fantastic! During our two hour tour we saw many more sights that I anticipated. Our tour began at our hotel and included (but was not limited to) the following areas: St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the NYC Subway System, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Thanks to Marc's detailed Subway instructions (and demonstrations), the NYC subway system was no longer so intimidating! Marc was great with our two children. Several of the 70 or so pictures were of our children and were very good. My wife and I anticipate several of his photos being displayed promenately in our house! wFollowing our tour,we received our CD at the hotel the very next day. Should we return to New York, I certainly would want to do the PhotoTrek again. | ||||||

| Our Tour Guide, Marc Samuels, who is a native New Yorker definitely LOVES New York and wanted to be sure we left “The City” with as much appreciation for New York that he has. His enthusiasm and knowledge of New York really showed through every aspect of his work. He was fun, informative, and needless to say a great photographer TOO! We were so pleased to be able to remember the highlights of his tour with a fabulously choreographed album that was as unique and special as our tour. We learned so much from Marc about New York in just 2 hours – it was amazing and well worth the money. There is no question we would recommend Phototrek Tours to family and friends – it is so worthwhile and we have wonderful photographs that will last a lifetime. Definitely add Phototrek tours to your list of things to do when visiting New York! | ||||||

| After an early start to meet Mark, we spent 3 hours seeing some amazing sights, he took us to places we would never thought of going - Brooklyn Bridge, Soho, etc., and provided us with some insider knowledge. The tour is fast paced and heavy going on the feet but totally worth it. Wear comfortable shoes, take along some water and let him guide round the city. An excellent activity to start anyone's trip. | ||||||

| This activity was a highlight of the trip when planning everything for New York City and we were not disapointed. Not only was Marc great in giving tips to getting around on the confusing subway system but he was able to point out historical buildings we passed and give tidbits of information on the sites we came across. We love to scrapbook our vacations and with the pictures that Marc captured we are sure to have a fantastic photo album to show our friends and family. It was wonderful getting creative, fun shots without having to ask people to take the picture for us. Marc was even open to suggestions when we saw a location that looked interesting for a quick photo. We particularly wanted to catch some color changes in the leaves and Marc ensured that we would get what few were in Central Park. One suggestion, wear your walking shoes and get ready to move because you are covering a lot of ground in a short period of time. It was a whirlwind two hours but we had a blast and now have the pictures to prove it. | ||||||

| I booked this tour late and was only able to get a time slot at the end of our trip. I highly recommend that you take this tour!!! But take it at the beginning of your stay if you are new to NY. Our guide/photographer Marc was a wealth of information about the city as well as the bus lines, subways, etc. things you really need to know in traveling about the city. We saws lots, and over 130+ pictures taken of my daughter and I - not just my daughter!!! LOVE the idea and it was that and more!!!! | ||||||

| We loved the experience of going around town with Marc.....He was really great and took a load of great pictures. (there wasn't a bad picture in the bunch) My daughter and I would not have these great pictures if we had done them ourselves........for one we don't know the great spots with the views that Marc does....and two we wouldn't of been able to take pictures of us together........and you know getting a stranger to do it and be that good is unlikely!!!!!!! I am so glad we did it and when we go again (with the whole family) The only tip I will give is be sure to wear comfortable (walking) shoes. We wore hills and our feet didn't feel too good that evening. There is some walking and it isn't much if you are in comfortable shoes, but hills will make you feel like you walked 10 miles. I am so glad we did it and when we go again (with the whole family) I will definately give Marc a call!!!! Well worth it. | We were in NY for our honeymoon. We knew before we left it was going to be a challenge getting pics of the two of us together. I could not be happier that we found and booked the photo tour!!! We got to see sites that we may not have otherwise found or gone to and got amazing pictures to show for an amazing trip!!!! It rained the day we were scheduled to initially go, but we got everything rescheduled and still made the tour before we left NY. They are great to work with and made every effort to make our tour exactly what we wanted. Love the pictures!!!!! | ||||||

| This was our first experience to New York. I'd like to think that I am conservative and realistic when searching for tours at any destination places we are about to visit for the very first time. MARC IS A CLASS ACT! Everything the reviews stated proved to be more and then some. A little apprehensive as I have Lupus and flare up on occassion, which my feet did swell, Marc was extremely patient and kind throughout our walking tour. He was still able to provide "MAGICAL MOMENTS/PHOTOS that my husband and I would not ever had otherwise. He made it a point to escort us to our next destination and pointed out several fine deli's in the vicinity. He delivers the photos as promised, we had ours by 11:30 a.m. and I have since not only referred tourist in New York City while we were there to take advantage of a WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY, but I have shown our photos to friends and family, and they were awe struck with statements such as, "WOW, What GREAT PHOTOS", "What a GREAT INVESTMENT", "What a lifetime of MEMORIES", "The pictures are OUTSTANDING and CAPTURED THE EXCITEMENT"! You won't regret spending 2-3 hours with Marc and Photo Trek. This turned out to be "Our Dream of a Lifetime, something we will have forever to REMEMBER!" Marc, a special note to you...... YOU PROVIDE A WONDERFUL SERVICE, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO! Next time Jon & I are there to visit, we will do Greenwhich Village, Soho, and maybe Little Italy! | This tour surpassed our expectations! Our photographer Marc was great in showing us around, teaching us to use the subways, and of course great in a taking more than enough pictures. We were in some very populated areas on the tour and Marc took pictures so it looked like we were the only ones there. I was so happy to have some pictures of my fiancé and myself together on vacation. This is a tour we will definitely participate again when we visit New York to ensure we have pictures together. I do recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your trip so Marc has a chance to help you orient yourself around the city. We felt like celebrities being followed around by paparazzi, it was so much fun! | ||||||

| My fiancee and I have been to New York City numerous times but didn't really have any great pictures of us in the city. The tour was so thorough (Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central Station, Brooklyn Bridge, SoHo and Greenwich Village) and the pictures are outstanding-so many to choose from to give our family and friends. Having pictures taken at iconic New York City sites is such a wonderful way to commermorate our special times we have spent together over the years in New York City. I would strongly recommend this experience to anyone seeking beautiful pictures to capture their memories in the great city of New York! | ||||||

| Nous avons fait nos photos à central park et à broadway, ce fut un moment inoubliable, nous avons été accueilli par le photographe qui en même temps de vous photographier, vous parle de sa ville. Ce moment fût pour nous un grand moment dans notre voyage de noce car cela permet d'avoir des photos originales que nous ne pouvons pas faire nous même et d'avoir des anecdotes sur New York grâce au photographe. Après visionnage en rentrant, les photos sont magnifiques, nous n'avons pas été déçus de notre choix et de plus, la livraison s'est effectuée sans problème à l'hôtel. | My wife and I recently went on the Phototrek Tours Taste of New York City tour and can not recommend it highly enough. The tour was the highlight of our entire trip to New York City. Mark, our tour guide / photographer, was excellent. He took us to locations in the city that we never would have experienced as casual tourists, made theater and restaurant recommendations, showed us how the subway system runs, explained to us about the various neighborhoods in the city – he made us as comfortable as natives in a city that can be pretty overwhelming to tourists. The tour was fantastic, giving us not only a great feel for the city, but also tons of wonderful photographs that we will cherish always. Unlike so many other trips where we came home with only memories or at best a few lousy pictures taken by reluctant strangers, thanks to our Phototrek tour we have an album full of great photos from our trip to New York City – I wish Phototrek tours was in every city I visit! I can’t recommend Phototrek tours highly enough… don’t miss this tour! | ||||||

| My daughters and I loved the Photo Trek tour and it was absolutely worth every penny. We got to be together in all the pictures, which was lovely. Plus, it was like a guided tour since Mark knew exactly where to go and how to get there as efficiently as possible. I also really appreciated that he was willing to customize our tour to ensure we saw whatever was most important to us, given our time constraints. He was pleasant, accommodating, and very professional. That evening we had 3 photo CDs delivered to our hotel with all of the day's pictures. I highly recommend Photo Trek. You will love it! | ||||||

| This tour is well worth every penny! Marc is an amazing tour guide. He is friendly, up beat, and easy to get a long with. This fast pace walking tour leads you all over the city to see the sites. I hope you will consider Photo Trek Tours when visiting New York. I am so glad I took the time and spent the money. I will have many memories to last me a life time. | ||||||
