| This was a wonderful activity to do with our daughter. We got some great professional quality shots with beautiful NYC backgrounds. Mark was game for hiking in the snow to get the shots re quested of other Central Park landmarks that were not on the "scheduled" list. As a scrapbooker, the photos are great! Everyone loves the pictures and many have asked how many strangers we got to take our picture. We did the 2hr tour and ended up with over 200 pictures. | Having seen the great reviews of the phototrek tours before travelling to new york, we decided to book a three hour session, we were so glad we did!!! we were visiting New York for a week and booked the tour for the first morning of our holiday, Marc, the photographer arrived promptly at the meeting point, which is is a brill location because its easy to find and doesn't get too busy.He was easy to spot with a camera around his neck and after introductions we chatted about where our tour would take us, Marc has a route in mind but is happy to accommodate any requests. We went with the flow and followed the suggested itinerary which covered Times Square, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central station and many of the neighbourhoods. Marc was very helpful, he showed us how to buy a subway ticket and explained the different subway routes, this was really useful as it was our first day and made our sightseeing for the rest of the week easy!! At first we fell a bit shy having our photos taken but Marc put us at ease and we were soon posing like professionals! Marc answered all our questions about New York city and gave us an insight into life as a new yorker, including some of the best bars to visit and where to grab a bargain. During the tour Marc let us sneek a peek at some of the photos he had taken on the digital camera and asked if they were ok. This gave us the opportunity to say if we had any problems or wanted to do anything differently, however, we were very happy with the photos and continued to relax and let him do the hard work. We are so glad we followed Marcs lead and let him pick the areas to visit and where to take the pictures. The photos are amazing and are far better than we could ever have taken ourselves, especially as we are together in them, a rare luxury on holiday! Marc told us the CD with the images on would be left at the reception desk of our hotel within the next couple of days, which it was the following morning even though it was snowing heavily. Overall we really enjoyed our phototrek tour and have some fabulous pictures of our time in New York, i would definitely recommend this trip. | ||||||

| Thank you so much for such a good time during our photo tour. It was well worth the money and we loved all the pictures that we got to take home. We loved our guide and he was an amazing photographer. We loved all the poses he put us in around the city. These pictures are memories to treasure for the rest of our lives. Next time we come to New York we will bring our kids and take the same photo tour again. See you in a few years. We loved New York and we would love to live there. You have an awesome job. | Although the cost at first may seem daunting. This is well worth the plunge!! As I was recovering from illness at the time, our guide offered to slow the pace, which I thought was nice. So this trip also offered good catch up time from the two days I had to spend in bed 'dying' and offered to give us the photo experience that showed where we had been. The trip is flexible to your taste's and where you want to see, which I think is a nice touch, whether its your first time to New York City or not. The overall pictures are great, good range and quality, and offers a chance to get pictures you wouldn't normally think of or be bothered to take. Plus it saves you having to take your camera out. Our guide also had a lot of knowledge, so is fantastic for finding out all those little bits, so so you need to think that the price is not just having someone taking your pictures, its getting other city tips, and learning other bits of history. So in all, I thoroughly reccomend this activity, and think of it as not an expense, but an investment into a good time, and memories :) | ||||||

| We use to live in NYC. We returned for a visit and to elope. We wanted photos of our time in NYC and found Photo Trek Tours on the web. Marc did a great job and I highly recommend him. He was friendly, prompt, flexible, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Since our plans did not quite fit the tour description I called and left a voice mail requesting a call back before booking. Marc was prompt in responding and provided me with guidance for booking the tour to fit our needs. Even the booking service Zerve, provided unexpected customer service. I purchased two tours on back to back days for what we had planned. A Zerve customer service representative called me to make sure I had intended to book both tours because they were booked about 15 minutes apart. The Zerve representative wanted to make sure I had not accidentally duplicated the booking with the second purchase. I personally feel this is a sign of quality customer service. During our NYC photo tour Marc had all the bases covered maneuvering the city and catching some great pictures of our time in NYC. Marc was also helpful and informative when we went to city hall to get married. He even was the witness for our ceremony. The photo cd's of our trip were delivered right to our hotel before we departed NYC. I doubt anyone will be disappointed with Marc's service. | ||||||

| It was just the two of us, so it was wonderful to have someone take pictures of the BOTH of us instead of either having just one of us in all of the pics, or bugging other people to take pictures that may or may not be any good. The pictures are beautiful. Also, being first timers to NYC, he gave recommendations about certain areas and restaurants we would personally enjoy and also REALLY helped us learn the subway system. That was one of the best parts of this tour. We learned so much that we would have had no idea about, if it weren't for him. (By the way Marc~ if you are reading this, we ROCKED the subway system the days after your tour thanks to you!! | Me and my husband totally enyoyed this tour.....it was fantastic. Not only do you get a look around the city from an insider who can tell you things a book or map can't.......you also get your magical moments captured on film. From a couples point of view, most of our pictures was me here, Dave there but with this all the photos are of you together, enjoying the experience!!! If you fancy a tour thats a bit different and that is no-where else in the world then this is the tour for you!! Have fun, let us know your thoughts :-) Danielle x | ||||||

| I didn't tell my girlfriend we would be going on a photo tour of new york city but I planned it out with Marc and he was Great! Marc and I talked a few times through email and over the phone and he helped organize the tour for me. He even helped me pick out a place where I could give my girlfriend a special gift I bought her in a setting away from all the commotion of NYC. Afterwards he directed us to where we needed to go and even got the cd of pictures to us a day later. Marc was great and I highly recommend him. | ||||||

| My husband and I decided to take a private walking tour with Mark during the Christmas holiday. WHAT A BLAST!!!! Mark had main sights that he led us to, but he also allowed us to customize the tour so we would see everything we wanted within 2 hours. We were able to get pictures of us as a couple instead of separate shots since Mark was taking all of the pictures. We will have memories of us together in NYC for years to come. Mark is also very prompt. We received our photos on disc which Mark delivered to our hotel the same day. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone...even if you are a native New Yorker or just visiting. THANKS MARK!!!!!! | ||||||

| Before we left for New York we emailed Marc to submit our preferred sites to visit. His answers were prompt, polite and well informed. He developed our tour itinerary with our desires in mind and his logistical knowledge of what we could achieve in the time limit. It was so fantastic, we will never forget it! We loved that we were being shown around by a local, and even got a great mini-lesson in how US politics works while we rode the subway!! My favourite part of the tour was when we were on the Brooklyn Bridge looking back at the gorgeous skyline and we asked marc about where he was on September 11 and how it affected him.We were on the go the whole time, but never felt rushed. It was perfect! Our photos are amazing and everyone we have shown them to has been so jealous! He even dropped the cd to our hotel that very night. Having never been to a city like NY before, and having only one week to see it, we never would have experienced all those places if not for Phototrek tours. | ||||||

| We only had two days in New York, so we booked the Photo Tour hoping it would make the best use of our time, and that's exactly what happened. Mark was great, knowledgeable, generous with his time, and packed our tour as full as possible. We recommend the tour to anyone with limited time and to first time visitors. Looking at the photos we don't know how he mananged some of the shots, but he did, and we have the CD to prove it! | ||||||
