| We loved every minute of the tour with Marc (our photographer and tour guide extraordinaire), and he ensured we saw as much as possible in a two hour time frame. The photos are absolutely fantastic and show New York in all it's glory, and amazingly he made us look pretty good too! Being a true local Marc showed us places we would not have visited on our own, and recommended 'John's Pizza' - the best pizza in New York! Despite my boyfriend being a little nervous about having his photo taken over 100 times Marc quickly put him at ease, and his sense of humour was appreciated. We would also suggest doing this tour as soon as you arrive in the Big Apple, as it gives you a really good sense of where things are positioned and the subway system - the best way to get around. We can not recommend this tour highly enough - it made our time in New York extra special and we have the photos to prove it. Worth every cent. | ||||||

| Mark was absolutely wonderful. I used the Metro in DC for 10 years but was quite hesitant to go on the NY subway. Marks ability to show us what token to get, which train to get on, and how the routing worked was really informative and reassuring. I decided that morning in a change of itinerary - he was very flexible and accommodating. The pictures on the CD are absolutely fabulous and elicited many ou's and awe’s from family and friends. They gave my son and me many happy memories and a plan to return! I wish we could have had another day for another 3 hour tour! | ||||||

| Marc did a wonderful job on our walking tour of NYC. I surprised my sweetheart with a proposal in Central Park during the tour and Marc captured the moment beautifully. He was attentive but also knew when to give us a few minutes to spend "our time" together. Thank you Marc! SCQ | ||||||

| We would definitely recommend Photo Trek--wish we could have done it earlier in our trip but we were rained out. Marc, our photographer and guide, consulted us as to which parts of New York we wanted to see so we would not duplicate what we had already seen. As we followed him around he would quickly take pictures of us as he told us about the area we were in. He went at our pace. We were all in good health so we zoomed around and saw pretty much. Since we were leaving the next day, he mailed copies of the pictures to both us and our daughter in another state. Some of the pictures we are not sure of the background--wish we had more information as to what we were standing in front of. At the time, Marc told us but we do not remember all the buildings. We had different poses but the majority of the poses were the same--all 3 lined up in front of an area. Wish we could have had a few more different poses. All in all, Marc was extremely accommodating, fun and helpful. He added much to our trip to New York. Thank you, Marc. | ||||||

| Not only did my wife and I get a great tour, loaded with local flavor and history from a true native New Yorker, we have the best photos from any of the vacations we have ever been on. The exceptional quality of the pictures can only be equaled by the iconic NYC locals that they where taken at. Not only would I do another tour with Marc and Phototrek when I return to the city, I am recommending it to anyone I know on their way to the big city. | ||||||

| This was our fifth visit to NYC, and Marc our photo guide was still able to show us parts of the city we hadn't seen before. Marc was very personable, informative and his enthusiasm ensured we had a really enjoyable tour. The photos were painless and once over the initial concerns of having to stand in the middle of the road in Times Square it was very relaxed. Be ready to travel at speed with Marc... he doesn’t hang about! He can also recommend a great shop for home made cannolis! If you have a couple of hours to spare, we would highly recommend this tour. Ask him to end your tour in the west village, where there are some really good restaurants for lunch. | ||||||

| Marc provides a great tour of the city. He customized it to our needs and shared some great tips along the way. We had a terrific time, and the photos were outstanding. They arrived at our hotel the next day. If you are traveling to New York, this is a "must see" tour. It's well worth the money. | ||||||

| When we first got to New York, we felt completely discombobulated and lost. But when our tour began, we felt completely at ease and comfortable. Our guide (Marc) knew the area perfectly, and gave us plenty of information on all the landmarks and hot spots while simultaneously taking breathtaking pictures of us. Had we gone through New York on our own, we would not have been able to take even a fraction of the pictures! He provided us with over 150 beautiful pictures which included the famous backdrops of New York City. In addition to Times Square, Central Park, and the Brooklyn Bridge, we also got to ride the Subway, visit Grand Central Station, and walk through Soho and Greenwich Village. Our tour was amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone who has never been to New York. Without our tour guide we would not have been able to navigate our way through New York, nor would we have 150 spectacular pictures. Thanks Marc, we had a blast, love our pictures, and definitely are glad we chose this tour. | ||||||

| If you can't book it as the very 1st thing you do in NY; book it anyway!!! I wish we could've done this 1st on our trip but the tour was sold out on our 1st day (hence the reason u should stop reading and start booking so u don't miss out!) We took the tour on our 2nd day and our ONLY complaint was that we were not able to do it on our 1st day. Ok maybe we had two complaints; the second was that we couldn't just carry our tour guide along with us for the entire trip! He was FANTASTIC!! I had a couple of specific places I wanted to see that were nowhere near the 'actual tour sights' but our tour guide abliged w/o complaint and he made it work perfectly. He managed to ensure we saw some of the greatest sights all along the way of our 'detour' and all of the way back! We took the 3hr tour and I can't believe how much we packed into that tour! We saw more, laughed more, learned more and got more pics in that 3 hours than we did on our entire trip! If we saw something we wanted a pic by (that he normally would've walked past) we just pointed it out and snap snap we had the shots in addition to a wealth of information concerning the location. ANY questions we had were answered openly and with such knowledge! The shots themselves are FABULOUS! Plenty of close-ups, plenty of scenery shots surrounding us, and plenty of action shots (walking across streets, subways, climbing on the bridge etc). The rest of our personal trip photos (without the guide) has shots of JUST ME or JUST my boyfriend so having this tour's shots to mix in makes our photo album complete and a true joy to view again & again. I'm from a small town in Colorado where I have become spoiled with extremely friendly and personal service... this of course was not something I expected to receive in NYC; boy was I wrong! Our tour guide made me feel like I had never left my small town comforts the entire time we were with him! My fears of NYC were obliterated primarily because of this tour. By the time our tour was done my BF and I were ready to tackle anything NYC had to offer. We did a lot in NYC but nothing will stick in my mind like this tour. If not for this tour I doubt I would've felt like we 'did NY' but because of this tour our trip was complete and enabled us to return home with only the fondest of memories. WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU STILL READING THIS????? BOOK YOUR TICKETS NOW!! I only command this because I don't think anyone should have to visit NYC w/o this tour. YOU WONT REGRET IT! Sure it's a lil pricy if you compare it to some crowded and cheesy cruise ship or tour bus, but it's CHEAP when you consider the fact that you have one native New Yorker there to cater your needs and only your needs, who happens to be a professional photographer determined to send you home with a wealth of photo memories. You spent the money to get to NYC you may as well get your money's worth out of it and this tour is exactly how you will make up for the overpriced airfare & cabs! | ||||||

| Like everyone who goes on holiday , my wife and i wanted great photo's of our trip to the world's greatest city and marc did that for us. Within ten minutes of reading the reviews on the web we had booked ourselves a 2 hour stroll for our first morning in NY and i can't stress how happy we are we did . We met Marc first thing and told him we wanted to see Central Park , Times Sq and Brooklyn Bridge , he showed us those places and much more along the way including 5th Av , LIttle Italy , Greenwich Village , Chinatown and so on . Not only did we learn a lot about NY from Marc but he showed us lots of handy tips like riding the subway and good places to eat and drink around the city , this is one of the reasons you should book your tour as early as possible into your trip as you get a good feel for where everything is and how long it takes to get around .Marc himself is very friendly and easy to talk to and puts you at ease right away if your worried about getting your photo taken in front of people as you are walking around , in fact after a while we felt like celebrities as people take a second glance at you wandering why your having your picture taken [ all part of the fun ].Unfortunately we are back home now but at least we have a fantastic photo album full of amazing pictures together and lots of great memories. Our friends have all seen them and some who are going to NY in November plan to book with Marc so i can't give anymore recommendation than that , other than when we return we will without doubt book another tour and see many of the other sites we didn't see first time around ! | Our Best of New York Tour was fantastic! I would definitely do it again and will certainly recommend it to my friends. We were scheduled for a 2 hour tour, but we actually received about 3 hours. Marc went out of his way to accomodate us in where we met to begin the tour and in giving us information on how to get to our meeting place. He also made sure we got on the right train for our next tour at Yankee Stadium and in making sure we knew how to get back to our hotel. We also got more pictures than we thought we would. Marc is very knowledgeable about New York, but he makes you feel completely comfortable and safe in the city. He could tell I was a little nervous about riding the subway, but he put my mind at ease to where I actually enjoyed it. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that is not familiar with New York. | OMG! What fun we had! My husband and I were planning a trip to NYC, (Nov 2007) so I did some info searching on the Internet. One of the pages I landed on had an ad for Photo Trek Tours. I clicked on it. What a fabulous idea! My husband and I take lots of pictures, but come home with just a few of the two of us together. I read all of the reviews - if you are reading them - listen to all of them that tell you to be READY to walk! haha OMG - Marc had us going at a good clip! We saw more than I thought possible in two hours. Bonus - he taught us how to use the Subway (your new best friend), so the rest of our visit in NYC was so simple for getting around! Marc is a great guy - full of information and a spectacular personality. He kept us entertained. We had a great time in two hours, saw a lot, learned a lot and had a CD with a TON of great pictures delivered to our hotel room the next day! I have already used one of them for our Christmas card! Everybody loved them! If you are reading the reviews - I know you are interested. Trust me - it's worth it! I would love to go back and do it again with a bigger group of friends! Marc even recommended a place for our first NY pizza experience! It was great too! Do it!!!! PS - do the PhotoTour your first day if you can - it really helps you get a feel for the city and subway for the rest of your stay! | ||||||

| Just got back a view days ago and our photo's are stunning! Marc's a great guy, fantastic photographer and he really loves the city and it's beautiful sites. He can tell you a lot about historical buildings and other sites and show you anything you'd like to see. So don't be shuy and just ask him if you want to know or see something specific. The photo quality is good enough to enhance your pictures and the speed of delivery is mostly within 24 hours. Since we were in NYC for just 2 more days this was perfect. For people that don't like to get their picture taken, this is a great tour to book, because you're just walking down the streets, going on the subway, talking a lot and make jokes, it's almost as if the photographer is part of your group. At first we got worried that we would feel awkward, but we really didn't. I can't tell you enough how much we've enjoyed this phototour! Great pictures and lots of sightseeing. The perfect way to cover your citytrip! Especially when you don't have a lot of time or when it's your first time in the city. We'll definately come back to New York and we're 100% sure of making a second phototour with Marc! Once again we bow to Marc, all the way from the Netherlands. See you in a couple of years! | Myself and my new husband only had a few days of our honeymoon to see New York and doing the tour early on our first day there really made a difference to how we viewed the city. We had the confidence to use the subway everyday afterwards and stroll through streets we probably wouldn't have even thought of otherwise! It's so nice to be able to look back on the pictures and laugh at how worried we were about getting run over by the cyclists on Brooklyn bridge!!
