A wonderful experience and a great way to see NYC

| We are a group of six girls that meet every year for our annual trip. We wanted a way to see the highlights of the city and get some great pictures of our group. We were very impressed with our tour guide and his ability to create great photographs of our group in beautiful and exciting locations. We would highly recommend this Photo Tour and suggest that you do it in the AM when the streets are not too crowded. We covered an incredible amount of NYC top locations in only 2 hours. We all agreed this was the best way to see the sights and to record our trip for future enjoyment. | ||||||

| We had a great time getting to see some of the highlights of the city. The tour allowed us to become more comfortable with getting around on our own, especially after learning how to ride the subway! The next day, you would have thought we were natives! Mark made the afternoon fun and enjoyable. The CDs with the pictures from the day were delivered the next day as promised and are a great memento of our trip. I would definitely recommend PhotoTrek Tours to anyone visiting NYC for the first time! | ||||||

| Marc lead us on a great tour of NYC in a way we could never have done on our own. He is knowledgeable, fun to talk with and we received a disc with some really nice photos to remember the trip by. Our family had a wonderful time and we highly recommend this activity. You will not be disappointed! | ||||||

| Marc is a very genuine and personable guy. The tour is informative and his insights/tips etc as a native New Yorker we found invaluable. Even very simple things like how to work the sub way ticketing system and navigating around from there. You can tailor the tour to your exact requirements or rely on Marc's descretion, either way your going to be well informed. We had the 3 hour tour and the ground you cover walking and on the sub way is amazing. We recommend doing this tour shortly after arrival as an ideal way to get a very personal orientation of this magnificent City. The pictures are amazing and there's plenty of them. It is also amusing to see the looks on peoples faces as you have the pictures taken, you feel like a VIP they think you are a VIP........... well hey for 3 hours we were!! | We were in NYC on our honeymoon when we met Mark for our "photo-tour" and were very pleased with the tour, the photos and the tid-bits Mark had to pass along. I had been to NYC on several occasions, but my new wife had never visited before so the tour served as a wonderful introductory tour to the city. We have reviewed our photos several times and are absolutely thrilled. I have already mentioned the phototrek website to many friends and would encourage anyone to use Mark's services as they are professional, and the photos are of extremely high quality. I know that many of them will be framed for our home. | ||||||

| My adult daughter and I went to NY for a mother daughter get away and she wanted to do this tour...so we did...it was wonderful...not only all the pictures that were taken (and they were all great) but the sightseeing and pointing out of things that other wise we would have not known...it was a friendly great time and the 3 hours flew by so fast... it was one of the highlights of our trip...would highly recommend especially if your a family or couple and your wanting those pictures that you just can't get when one of you are taking the pictures...well worth it! | ||||||

| First off I would like to say this was our first trip to New York City coming from Canada. We had advised Mark of this and told him we wanted to make this photo trip special being it was our first anniversary together. As a tour guide Mark was fantastic, as we went from photo location to photo location Mark was quick to point out local landmarks in the vicinity and provide history of the area we were in. Valuable as well, was Mark introducing us to the New York City Subway system which can be overwhelming at first but with Marks guidance we were able to fuigure out the system and this became an asset as our holiday moved along. As for the pictures Mark took we were both pleased and disappointed. Out of a total of 170 pictures taken by Mark that day, 37 were either over exposed or out of focus. Out of the approximately 7-8 action shots where we were walking only 2 were in focus. Some shots we did not know Mark was taking them so we were either looking away from him or trying to fix wind blown hair. In Mark's defence it was an extremely rainny, windy day but some adavnced notice of him taking the picture would have allowed for us to be ready. I would not recommend this tour in incliment conditions as it makes it hard to get good qualilty pictures as well as due to the low lighting the flash seemed to wash out many pictures. There were some very memorable pictures taken by Mark, however our only regret is that due to the weather there were not more. Due to time constraints you only have so much time and cannot go back and retake pictures once you are done. | ||||||

| We use to live in NYC. We returned for a visit and to elope. We wanted photos of our time in NYC and found Photo Trek Tours on the web. Marc did a great job and I highly recommend him. He was friendly, prompt, flexible, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Since our plans did not quite fit the tour description I called and left a voice mail requesting a call back before booking. Marc was prompt in responding and provided me with guidance for booking the tour to fit our needs. Even the booking service Zerve, provided unexpected customer service. I purchased two tours on back to back days for what we had planned. A Zerve customer service representative called me to make sure I had intended to book both tours because they were booked about 15 minutes apart. The Zerve representative wanted to make sure I had not accidentally duplicated the booking with the second purchase. I personally feel this is a sign of quality customer service. During our NYC photo tour Marc had all the bases covered maneuvering the city and catching some great pictures of our time in NYC. Marc was also helpful and informative when we went to city hall to get married. He even was the witness for our ceremony. The photo cd's of our trip were delivered right to our hotel before we departed NYC. I doubt anyone will be disappointed with Marc's service. | ||||||

| We only had two days in New York, so we booked the Photo Tour hoping it would make the best use of our time, and that's exactly what happened. Mark was great, knowledgeable, generous with his time, and packed our tour as full as possible. We recommend the tour to anyone with limited time and to first time visitors. Looking at the photos we don't know how he mananged some of the shots, but he did, and we have the CD to prove it! | ||||||

| I'm lucky. I travel often. This was my 4th trip to NY City and found the photo tour to be a large part to why this was my favorite visit! The experience ran smoothly from the moment we recieved a confirmation call for the next morning with our meeting spot, to the very last moment. I found the guide wanted us to have fun and enjoy the experience and even let us suggest pictures we wanted taken, which would have meaning to us he couldn't know about. Conversation was easy, I felt safe with the guide and he lived up to his promises to show us the hot spots, take the best pictures, and delivered the CD that evening as promised. I came home and have looked through my pictures over and over. I highly recommend taking the tour, it was worth every penny. I know I have memories caught in pictures I would never have been able to get on my own. I only hope I can find this service in other cities...it'll be the first thing I look for when I take any vacation. I've already given family and friends the recommendation not to visit NY without taking this photo tour! My parents have been to NY at least 10 times, and after viewing my photos they agree they have to line this tour up for their next trip. Enjoy NY, and have the pictures to prove it!!! | ||||||

| This was the number one best thing we did during our trip to New York. Would recommend this to everyone, the tour was great - we really got around everywhere - and the photos were fantastic!!! This guy is a great photographer and knows the city well. Well worth the money, like your own personal tour and we have the best photo keepsakes from any trip we have every taken. | ||||||

| I work for the military and was sent to NYC for a conference. I had never been to NY and the only reference I had for the city was what I had seen on TV, I asked my husband to go along with me, not only for a mini-vacation on my off time, but because I was basically scared of the big bad city and what I may encounter. When I found this guided tour on line, I decided it would be good for us to do. I was so pleased when we met our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and put me at ease immediately. He even managed to get me to relax enough to get off the beaten path, ride on the subway and see other parts of the city. The pictures he took were an added plus and well worth the money spent. Very rarely do my husband and I go on vacation and have pictures of both us together enjoying ourselves. I would encourage everyone visiting NYC to take advantage of this guided tour. Thank you so much Mark for your hospitality and if you ever get to Florida, look us up. We'll give you a guided tour of our beautiful emerald coast beaches and since you said you've never been, we'll even take you to a WalMart! ;) Brad and Neva Smith | ||||||
