| We only had one day in Manhattan and wanted to see as much as we could. We found Photo Trek on the Internet and it seemed great for two single ladies visiting the City for the first time. We spoke with our guide, Marc Samuels, by phone prior to making the trip and gave him an idea of what we wanted to see. Marc made some excellent suggestions and we tailored the tour to our own taste and pace. Marc met us in our hotel lobby and the adventure began. In just 4 hours, we were able to see so much of this fabulous City--places we'd seen in movies and read about in books. At a comfortable pace, we visited areas such as Time Square, Rockefeller Center, Wall Street, Trump Tower, Tiffany's, the spectacular view of the city from the Brooklyn Bridge, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Greenwich Village, Washington Square Park, Soho, Central Park, Grand Central Station, City Hall and City administration buildings and even a visit to the site of the former World Trade Center. The tour included many photo ops and we were invited to request specific shots as desired. Our guide was very professional, knowledgeable of the city, personable, an excellent photographer and delightful company. We continued to our next destination in upstate New York after the tour. Marc sent our photos via prirority mail and we each had a CD containing our photos waiting for us when we returned to our respective homes. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York. | ||||||

| We are so glad we found phototrek tours!! It was everything we thought it would be and much more. One of the highlights of our trip. Definately worth every penny. Our guide was so accomodating of everyone in the group. Very informative, a great way to get an overview of the city and great pictures without having to take your camera. Lots of wonderful pictures. We had our CD's the next morning delivered to our hotel and returned home from vacation to find our photos had been e-mailed to us. I will definately recommend it to any of my friends and family visiting the Big Apple. | ||||||

| cannot praise this tour highly enough. Marc was incredibly professional and courteous too. We arranged this tour for myself and my best buddy, Pete and it must have taken us at least 35 - 45 seconds to bond with Marc !! Although we have visited New York on many occasions, to see the sights with a professional guide and then have some fantastic photos delivered to your hotel well within 48 hours is a such a brilliant idea and we would have no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone. | MARK WAS WONDERFUL, HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND EAGER TO SHOW US AROUND NEW YORK, HE TOOK WONDERFUL PICTURES OF US. WHEN WE GOT BACK TO LUBBOCK,TX AND HAD OUR PICTURES DEVELOPE THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. THEY PROVIDED WONDERFUL VIEWS OF NEW YORK, BUT ALSO SHOWED US IN THEM. MARK IS GREAT, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR. WE WILL USE HIM AGAIN WHEN WE RETURN NEXT YEAR. | ||||||

| We were in New York for a trade show & luckily the first day we spent 2 hours with Marc. What a great decision! After the tour we had a good enough grasp of the system to use the subway! Before we arrived I had decided I would not use the subway at all. Not after the tour- he made it much easier to understand & took away the fear. The tour was great - we saw all of the places we agreed to see & have 95+ pictures to prove it. There are so many good ones its going to be hard to choose which ones to frame. I only regret not getting our photo with Marc. I hope you go & I hope you allow for the full four hours because that's the only thing I regret , is not having the 4 hour tour instead of the 2 hour! Have fun - I know we did! | ||||||

| We enthusiastically recommend this tour. The guide was very knowledgable about the city and the photographs were wonderful. Since it was a personalized tour, just for our group, we could tailor it to the places and areas that we were most interesting to us. The guide gave us great tips on navigating the city. We toured in the morning and had the CD's with the photos delivered to our hotel later that day. If you take this tour, bring your walking shoes because you will be covering a lot of ground in 4 hours! | ||||||

| the photographer is very a very enthusiastic individual and knows his where abouts of new york city: history, famous landmarks, and little wonders that a tourist would not know, only a native. walking shoes is definately recommended since we do walk all around the city and it's a great way to know the subway system since that's the means of travel on tour. photograph was good. photographer is game for any pose and is willing to adjust to what the customer wants. if there is a certain pose and a certain background you would like pictured, please do ask and he will provide. close up pictures, full length body shorts and half shots are done. however, there was much of the same background pictures done, with indivduals being too close up in the pictures. maybe a little more background would capture the surrounding area. overall, we were satisfied with our pictures. the photographer did deliver our cds promptly as well as met at the arranged time in the morning. | ||||||

| We had such a great time, and got to see tons of the city and learn about how the subway works. Wish we had done it sooner...i would suggest doing the tour on the day after you arrive...so you can get around easier afterward. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything NY! | ||||||

| This was a great tour!! We travel to New York quite a bit so this tour did two things for us. We got great photos in a city we love. We also got to go and see places we hadn't been to before. Marc really caters to what you want to see and do. He also has a wealth of info of history of the city and what is going on in the time frame that you are there. We would definitely recommend this tour. | ||||||

| This is the 1st thing my husband and I did when we landed in New York and we are so glad we did. Mark was very informative and the pictures have turned out amazing. Mark is a true local and gave us many tips and insights that you won't find in a book. Mark is friendly and a seasoned traveller himself and very easy to get along with. I was really afraid to catch the subway but it was one of the 1s things we did with Mark and it saved us a lot of money which I then put towards shopping! If there is one tour to do in New York, this is it! | ||||||

| This was the first and only organized tour we took while in New York City and we were not disappointed. This tour is well worth the money. Mark was extremely professional and proved to have a wealth of knowledge about the city. Not only did we end up with over one hundred amazing photographs, Mark also familiarized us with the city layout, the public transit system and made excellent restaurant recommendations. We took the 2 hour city tour and we were absolutely amazed at how much ground we were able to cover in that time period – We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a truly unique experience! Definitely 5 stars! | ||||||

| Our photographer knew that we were hoping to get a good Christmas photocard picture from our time together. He did such a good job that now we're going to have trouble trying to decide which to choose. Aside from his great photograhy skills, he was also very knowledgeable about New York and the sites we visited with him. He was flexible in accommodating our interests and had an array of itineraries from which to choose. He was very engaging, and we enjoyed our conversations together. We just couldn't be happier with Marc and our time spent with him (and we received the photographs on a cd that night at our hotel!). We would recommend Phototrek to anyone. | ||||||
