| Bobby Pinn provides an excellent walking tour. His knowledge of music and bands of the East Village is amazing. We loved how he talked about the bands and individuals, provided picutres of the time, and also provided some trivia for the group. The length of the tour was perfect and the pace was just right. I have been recommending this tour to everyone we tell about our trip. Definitely worth every penny!!!! Great fun! | ||||||

| Bobby Pinn was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate guide - despite how freezing it was outside, the 2 hours flew by. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in music. | ||||||

| Our flight was canceled and we arrived too late in NYC to have our booked tour on Sat Dec 20, 2008 at 11am. Your guide called my cell phone and said he would send coupons for another tour in the future if we returned to NYC. He said he would email something for me to return then he would send off the coupons we just arrived home monday and I have not received any email from hi We were impressed with the offer of the rebook coupons and are waiting for your response Debbie | ||||||

| This tour was perfect in every way. 1.-There were about 8 people total in the group, so the experience was personalized and engaging. 2.- Bobby knows all things, and was able to share information that even my extremely well read punk-rocker of a boyfriend learned a few things. 3. Bobby knows all people, and it was cool when random characters walked up to say hello to him. Overall, it was a very informative and entertaining tour, and i didn't feel like an "annoying tourist" in the small group. Bobby was very enthusiastic and fun, and it was obvious he loved his job. Having lived and travelled all over Europe, this was easily one of the best tours I have ever been on. Well worth the money. | ||||||

| Hands Down, best two hours spent in the city of the entire weekend!!! Bobby's knowledge and manner as a tour guide are beyond great! Would recommend this tour to any and all rock fans for the variety/quality of the information given on the tour! It's hard to pick a favorite part, loved the Led Zeppelin "Physical Graffitti" building, Trash & Vaudeville Store, Iggy Pop's condo......and on, and on! He is limitless in his knowledge and has such a warm/smooth presentation....makes you want more, more, more!!!!! | ||||||

| Bobby Pinn is super nice, and extremely knowledgeable. Most of the people in my group were into Classic Rock and he actually, shaped the tour and the info in provided to fit our interest, but he still covered a great deal of the other genres. My only regret was that I took the tour on the last day of my trip and I didn't get a chance to visit all the local spots he recommends, but I kept all the info, so next time I am in the city that will be the first thing I do. | ||||||

| Some great stories from a guide who makes the area come to life and gives you a better sense of its past. Ours was a really diverse group of people, but all seemed to have a great time.. My partner was only along with me out of duty - he has no interest in music !! Even he was captivated by the stories and ended up enjoying the tour, despite his reservations! I loved every minute of it. | ||||||

| The rock n punk walking tour was fun and the tour guide had tons of information -- and pointed out lots of hidden gems in the East Village area. It was easy going with a lot of stops and opportunities for photos. Definitely recommended for music fans! | ||||||

| Bobby Pinn is a spiky haired, animated, friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable guide. He is well suited to conducting this tour as he looks like a rock star himself. I took my 18 year-old daughter on the tour in August 2008 and we both enjoyed it despite the fact that she hadn't heard of a lot of the bands and artists. If you are into punk rock especially I would heartily recommend it. Bobby is very thorough and entertaining in his delivery and invites questions so don't hold back. There are many bars and eateries en route, some of which Bobby recommends. We particularly liked the fashion shops and at the end of the tour I would urge anyone to visit Trash and Vaudeville which is at the beginning of the route. The tour ends at the former CBGBs, now a gallery, and that's also worth a look. The staff in there are also very helpful and friendly. One piece of advice though: the tour is 2 hours long and we went in sweltering heat, so wear comfortable clothes and shoes. | ||||||

| the tour was really unique and not the typical tours that are out there that take you to the common tourist attractions we all know already....all the explanations were great and it was really cool to learn about who and what had to do with the buildings we walk by...it was an awesome tour...i wish there were more like this! | ||||||

| The tour guide was fun and informative. He had lots of stories and entertained stories from individuals who had first hand knowledge we bumped into on the way. I'd recommend adding current clubs to the tour such as those on the brochure handed to us at the end. | ||||||

| I am not gonna list all sites visited etc on this tour as previous excellent reviews already have! What I am going to stress to you though is, you simply must check this tour out!! Everything I know and love about music stems from this area! The bands, their lifestyle, their music and their influence on us even to this day! What Bobby does is bring to life amazing stories about these bands, their lifestyles, where they played, drank, shot their album cover etc. Chuck in some other East Village stories (including the ones you never got to hear about!!!) And what you have is a thrilling two hours! He speaks with such knowledge, passion and his natural enthusiasm for this subject is clear to see! Backed up with fantastic visuals and some classic insight, it was enough to make you feel like you lived the experiences right there in the village! Bobby we cannot thank you enough for such a great afternoon, it was definitely one of our best days whilst in NYC! Legend! Julie, Jake & Heather. | ||||||
