| I really enjoyed the tour,it was my first time to NY and loved discovering all about the Village and the characters who live/lived/performed there.Bob was a fountain of knowledge and I didnt feel silly asking questions;he was only delighted to answer them.I even managed to win myself a CD, thanks.I've told loads of people about the tour and will continue to do so.Thanks a million.Keep on rockin Love Orla | ||||||

| This was for the most part an interesting tour. The guide really did his research and gave an entertaining talk. He kept things interesting with trivia questions and prize giveaways. My only complaint is that there is one stretch of the tour (towards the end) where we walked several blocks with nothing to see/talk about. I understand why he wanted to end at the former CBGB's site, but he needs to either redo the route or find some more interesting stuff along the way. I felt that he could have talked about the Hells Angels block and gone into detail about the assassination attempt on Mick Jagger's life, for instance. Also - in the beginning he told us we could all go have a beer with him afterwards, but at the end of the tour he just vanished with a friend. | ||||||

| The tour was led by someone with excellent knowledge. He provided some good historical contexting which went beyond the subject of the tour, but placed the area and subject in relationship to the rest of New York. This created broader appeal. He also had excellent visual aids to provide the history. | ||||||

| This was a very enjoyable way to spend some time - we walked through East Village and learned some cool info about rock 'n roll bands. Lot of history and fun as well. The tour guide, Bobby, had a good sense of humor and knew what he was talking about. I loved the visual ads offered with the record album covers. Highly recommend if you have a love of rock music. | ||||||

| This is a greatly entertaining and interesting tour. The east village is so rich in rock history, but gentrification and development makes it unapparent to the naked eye. Our tour guide showed us where all the magic happened - the bank that was the Fillmore East, the apartment building which used to house Andy Warhol's Exploding Plastic Inevitable parties, the apartment where Joey Ramone spent the last years of his life, the building on the cover of Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti album, and much much more. There's something for everyone and the stories associated with those building are wild and fantastic. I learned new things about my favorite bands like Blondie, the Ramones, and the New York Dolls. It was a great experience. | ||||||

| Ben: It was good, full stop. Jackie: We both really enjoyed it, and having the background to many of the streets and venues added to tour and our visit to New York. As punk/rock fans we both got a lot out of the tour. It's just a shame CBGB's wasn't there to see in its glory. | ||||||

| This was a great tour enjoyed by both my husband and I, punk rock enthusiasts, and our two 12 year old boys, aspiring punk rock musicians. The historical aspect of the tour along with Bobby Pinn's reartie made it a tour to remember. We're looking forward to the Dylan tour and the Beatles tour in the future. | ||||||

| As a first time visitor to N.Y. this tour was ideal to get to know the East Village which is an area I was interested to see, and we were shown where the best bars in the area where, which we latter tested out. Bobby Pinn the tour guide is a really cool chap, very laid back, down to earth and easy to talk too. I highly recommend this tour if you have any interest in rock and roll music. | ||||||

| Not only is this a fabulous "show and tell" of historical rock and roll hot spots in the East Village, it is also a great walking tour of the East Village. As with any good rock show ... it is not suitable for children. | ||||||

| I was writing a huge research paper on punk and this tour was my first resource. Pinn is a great guide with a lot of first hand accounts and was nice enough to help me with my paper after the tour. The tour shows off the city's rock history so well, I had been to the neighborhood many times and had no idea about the amount of incredible places that are there. It really makes you want to tell the rest of the city about the amazing history it has. If you love the music or just want a really cool and engaging history lesson this is how you'll want to spend your afternoon. It's awesome. | ||||||

Bobby Pinn is passionate about the NYC music scene

| This tour is for those who are serious about the punk rock music scene in NY/East Village during the 70-80's. The Ramones are the holy trinity and everything starts from there...if your punk "lite" this is not the tour for you. I enjoyed the tour and learned how important the East Village was in the 70's. But I felt if I expressed loving the Go-Go's in the late 70"s "Johnny your so Queer" era, before thier pop hits, I would have been told to leave the tour. Bobby is serious and extremely knowledgeable about his music and I felt a little out of my league. I would like a tour of Billy Holiday-Diana Washington-Etta James-Judy Garland-and those great ladies and their contribution to NY music scene in the 40-50-60's. I would recommend the tour to friends coming to NYC, because there is nothing like it anywhere else and you have your own docent to the East Village. Wish we had a Bobby Pinn in LA who could take me through my own backyard and educate Los Angelenos about the music scene in the 60-70's. Thank you, Connie Kuberski | ||||||

| Bobby Pinn is the perfect tour guide! My husband and I had been to NYC several times before and were looking for something a little different to do. We'd spent a lot of time in the Village but Bobby managed to show us lots of new and interesting locales. His stories were interesting and fun and we highly recommend this tour! | ||||||
