| I thoroughly recommend this tour if you are even slightly interested in the rich musical and artistic history of the East Village. The tour guide is knowledgable and engaging, and importantly seems to be a hell of a nice guy. He's a great source of local knowledge so not only do you get an informative and entertaining history of the area and it's notable sights and buildings, but he can also assist with any other question you would have as a visitor to NY. If the names Iggy Pop, New York Dolls or Ramones mean anything to you then you will love this tour. | ||||||

| Wow, this tour was great. Bobby is such an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide, that we could have spent all day listening to him. We took this trip on the last day of our stay in New York and now are determined to go back and explore the East Village some more - it's such a cool place. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone into their punk and rock music - we learnt so much and had a great time. | ||||||

| Found this tour on the internet, wanted something different from the usual touristy stuff in New York. Was more than pleased with the P&R tour. Bobby Pin was a hive of information on the rock and punk scene! | ||||||

| Met with guide Bobby Pinn at the time/place previously advised. Bobby was well informed, friendly and happy to answer any questions at any time throughout the tour, and provided photos and album covers to illustrate various stages of the tour. Anyone with more than a passing interest in 70's New York music should definitely take one of his tours(mine was the East Village tour). When I am next in New York I shall go on another one, as it is money well spent and 2 of the best hours during my stay. Well done Bobby Pinn and Rockjunket.com! Dave, London. | ||||||

| I had my startingpoint in my 8-dayvication at St. Marks Hotel in East Village. Fantastic feeling just to be there in the area where so much has happend threw the years & in the same hotel as Ramones lived in during there startuptime & where G.G.Allin spent his last 9 month.(Cheap,clean Hotel with excellent helpful stuff). Bobby Pinns "Rock Junket Tour" was very inspiring with lots of places you cant leave N.Y.C. without a look at. As C.B.G.B.´s former place,Joey Ramones NYC pad,Iggy Pops,Andy Warhols & Madonnas former recidents among many other interesting places we saw. I look forward to the release-date of Bobby Pinns book about all this and more. Enthusiastically Recommended by Bjorn V. from Sweden. | ||||||

| I'm not a fan of tourist traps, preferring always to seek out the 'realness' of a new place. I thouroughly enjoyed my tour. It was very informative, while still being relaxed and casual. I think my experience was enhanced more by the fact I had not ventured into that particular part of town. I showed me the New York I wanted to see - the rock history. Great! | ||||||

| My sister and I were on our first trip to New York and as a musician, I was really keen to learn as much anecdotal info about my favourite arists and where they used to hang out as I possibly could. This tour was ideal - Bobby knew so much about all the places he took us to, the visual aids (photographs and record sleeves) that he carried around with us really added to the experience and put everything he told us about into context. It was like a really awesome music documentary, only we could actually walk and touch and see the places for ourselves, rather than just watching on a screen - I thought it was fantastic! We felt like we were really soaking up the history and energy of the place - Bobby picked his locations well. It didn't feel rushed and it felt like we got around a good number of interesting places. It wasn't just about where we went so much as the stories he told us about each place and each character who had lived or partied there. Thanks for making this day one of the highlights of our week-long stay in New York! Next time I come to the city, I would be tempted to take one of Bobby's other tours of New York, as this one was worth every cent. | ||||||

| We, my wife & I, came from the UK to do this tour after we read about it in The Telegraph (UK circulation daily paper). It totally matched our expectations and some more! Despite the rain, it was hugely entertaining and wanted it to run all day. A great find, I'd encourage anyone with the slightest bit of musical interest to do this. I play in a band in the UK, so I thought it very apt. These tours must be supported as these guys are the keeper of the Rock n Roll past and this stuff must not be lost to oblivion . . . | I am a great fan of groups such as The Ramones, The New York Dolls, Iggy Pop and Velvet Underground, but I am more into the music than every detail about their lives. So for me it was really interesting to stroll around the East Village with someone who could connect my favourite groups to these streets and buildings. I brought my sister who knows nothing about this music, and she enjoyed it equally, because Bobby Pinn is a very good story teller and an enthusiastic guide. He could probably talk about anything and make it seem interesting. I really recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in New York, music, or both. Louise Ercolino, Sweden | ||||||

| Yea I really liked this walking tour, thanks to Bobby, the great story teller. Have understood he's writing a book, will buy it for sure...maybe the equally lovable Jimmy - I guess it's his name(?) - from the nearby Trash & Vaudeville shop is included, cannot wait ;) Anyway I warmly recommend this compact tour to everyone who's interested in classic rock and awesome stories.
