| The tour was led by someone with excellent knowledge. He provided some good historical contexting which went beyond the subject of the tour, but placed the area and subject in relationship to the rest of New York. This created broader appeal. He also had excellent visual aids to provide the history. | ||||||

| I found the web page for Bobby Pinn's rock walks while looking for stuff to do on a short break in NY. His walk listed sites associated with bands I've been listening to for years so I signed up for one immediately. I then got an email form him asking if I'd like to change the date because the weather wasn't looking good for the day I'd chosen, which was easily taken care of. The walk itself takes a couple of hours and starts out where Joey Ramone lived, and fittingly ends up at the site of CBGBs. In between we visited nuermous places of musical interest in Greenwich Village and the Lower East Side, from GG Allin's hotel, to Madonna's first appartment, the site of Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti album sleeve and a host of others. If you like the music that came out of NY in the late 70s you can't go wrong with this walk. If you're a music fan in general it's well worth doing. Bobby is an engaging and friendly host - I had a great time. | ||||||

| I had an opportunity to spend a week with my 17 year old son and his friend in NY over spring break. This was the 3rd trip to the city for them and they took the opportunity to look for the unusual not the typical tourist attractions. They decided that a trip around the east and west villages seeing and expierencing the culture and history of the music gendre would be great. We spent the first afternoon with the greatest tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and took us through the 1960's through the 90's. My Son was so inspired! He spent the next two days in the village researching all the history. I know he did not get to it all but he is now on a mission to learn more about the times and to experience/see what it was all about. I want to thank you for the tour and would recommend this to anyone who is interested in rock/punk history. | ||||||

| Really enjoyed the process of the Rock Junket, wandering around the Village and finding all the interesting Punk and Rock related spots. The host of the tour Bobby was excellent. Went back at the end of the tour to Manitoba's Pub and had a beer and a chat with the barman which was fun. The bar has a large number of rock and punk related photos on the wall and is well worth a visit. In fact it would have been nice to have dropped in there as part of the tour for a beer. As by the time we were at that point we had walked a fair amount and a brief sit down and beer would have been enjoyable. All in all I would thoroughly recommend the tour. | ||||||

| This was a very enjoyable way to spend some time - we walked through East Village and learned some cool info about rock 'n roll bands. Lot of history and fun as well. The tour guide, Bobby, had a good sense of humor and knew what he was talking about. I loved the visual ads offered with the record album covers. Highly recommend if you have a love of rock music. | ||||||

| Despite an unseasonably cold and windy day, our host kept us enthralled throughout the entire walking tour. I'd highly recommend the experience to anyone interested in the punk or rock scene of the 70's and 80's East Village. | ||||||

| This is a greatly entertaining and interesting tour. The east village is so rich in rock history, but gentrification and development makes it unapparent to the naked eye. Our tour guide showed us where all the magic happened - the bank that was the Fillmore East, the apartment building which used to house Andy Warhol's Exploding Plastic Inevitable parties, the apartment where Joey Ramone spent the last years of his life, the building on the cover of Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti album, and much much more. There's something for everyone and the stories associated with those building are wild and fantastic. I learned new things about my favorite bands like Blondie, the Ramones, and the New York Dolls. It was a great experience. | ||||||

| Ben: It was good, full stop. Jackie: We both really enjoyed it, and having the background to many of the streets and venues added to tour and our visit to New York. As punk/rock fans we both got a lot out of the tour. It's just a shame CBGB's wasn't there to see in its glory. | ||||||

| My son [age 15] and I had some time to kill in NYC this weekend and I had ordered up some tix for the tour. "Bobby" did a great job of finding these punk landmarks with accompanying terrific stories. Nice way to pass on my generation to my son's. We had a ball! | ||||||

| Bobby knows his stuff. This was a cool tour if you are a rock and roll/punk fan. This is your history. It's a great way to see the sites and walk the same streets where these guys, Ramones, Iggy, Lou Reed and all made music history and lived their lives. Be ready for a quiz or two. This is not just a "Johnny Ramone slept here" tour. Cool stories behind the album covers and the background of other characters that made up the scene, GG Allin for one. Plus it's a great way to learn the Village streets. Do it. | ||||||

| This was a great tour enjoyed by both my husband and I, punk rock enthusiasts, and our two 12 year old boys, aspiring punk rock musicians. The historical aspect of the tour along with Bobby Pinn's reartie made it a tour to remember. We're looking forward to the Dylan tour and the Beatles tour in the future. | ||||||

| As a first time visitor to N.Y. this tour was ideal to get to know the East Village which is an area I was interested to see, and we were shown where the best bars in the area where, which we latter tested out. Bobby Pinn the tour guide is a really cool chap, very laid back, down to earth and easy to talk too. I highly recommend this tour if you have any interest in rock and roll music. | ||||||
