| I am not gonna list all sites visited etc on this tour as previous excellent reviews already have! What I am going to stress to you though is, you simply must check this tour out!! Everything I know and love about music stems from this area! The bands, their lifestyle, their music and their influence on us even to this day! What Bobby does is bring to life amazing stories about these bands, their lifestyles, where they played, drank, shot their album cover etc. Chuck in some other East Village stories (including the ones you never got to hear about!!!) And what you have is a thrilling two hours! He speaks with such knowledge, passion and his natural enthusiasm for this subject is clear to see! Backed up with fantastic visuals and some classic insight, it was enough to make you feel like you lived the experiences right there in the village! Bobby we cannot thank you enough for such a great afternoon, it was definitely one of our best days whilst in NYC! Legend! Julie, Jake & Heather. | ||||||

| We had a great time on Bobby Pinn's East Village Rock Junket tour - which included the Joe Strummer "The Future is Unwritten" mural, Charlie Parker's home, Joey Ramone's former apartment, Madonna's former apartment, and the former sites of CBGBs and the Filmore. As Canadians from the province of Manitoba, it was a special delight to see Handsome Dick Manitoba's bar in the East Village (called "Manitoba's"). Bobby knows his music and loves to talk; he'll remind you of the punk older brother you had who always had more records and knew more about them than you. His knowledge and taste are impeccable, and he even made me believe that I should give Iggy's Avenue B album another listen. Wow! At the end of the tour, Bobby gives you a brochure with "things to do" recommendations, including having an egg cream from the Gem (on Second Avenue at St. Mark's Place) and riding the Cyclone at Coney Island, which turned out to be two other big highlights of our trip. We went on the tour on a very hot day. If you do, bring some water and even a snack, so you can stand for two hours without falling over. Looking forward to taking another one of Bobby's tours on the next trip. - Kenton and Caroline, Winnipeg, Canada | ||||||

| The best thing about this tour is it goes around to all sorts of places i would never have found or recognised if i had not been on the tour. old classic venues are now shops and banks. and the other great thing about the tour is the tour guides stories - they bring the locations alive - interesting engaging and entertaining. I would reccommend this for any fans of this era of New York music. | ||||||

| The tourleader is authentic, enthusiast and a great narrator. By his stories and examples you will relive the late 60's through 80's of Glam and Rock Punk in the East Village. Even if you are not a great Punk Rock fan it is still nice to know more about the East Village and its subculture. | ||||||

| This tour was fun. Bobby Pinns/Rock Junket, the tour 'director', was very personable and knowledgeable about music, history and the East Village in general, providing lots of local colour and trivia, and pointing out places that the average rock fan would likely not have been able to find on their own. He was also able to tailor the tour 'on the fly' to include places of interest to the jazz fans among us. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves rock music, especially the punk and glam eras of The Ramones, The New York Dolls, The Sex Pistols. | ||||||

| Fan of punk and NYC's rock'n'roll history? Just curious? This is a fun 2 hour walking tour of the East Village that opens up your eyes to sights and experiences you don't get from your average guidebook. Bobby does a nice job of telling stories and showing you places that are part of NYC's music history - Joey Ramone's apartment, CBGB's, Charlie Parker's house and more. If you've got a good group of music fans, makes it even better! | ||||||

| Bobby Pinn's walking tour is a MUST if you're in NYC and a fan of REAL r'n'r such as New York Dolls, Dead Boys, Ramones, etc. He gives you a fantastic experience of the times back when it all happened around East Village – the history 'bout the big rock stars but also some cool stories about the underground heroes. A MUST, I say. Magnus Kull, Stockholm, Sweden | ||||||

| If you love music history, then New York City is a must see and The East Village Punk Rock Junket Tour is MUST do. No matter how much you read, watch, listen and hear there is nothing like being guided around in person in a historic location to put it all in perspective. Standing in front of a building where classic rock events of the past have taken place and listening to stories being told by host Bobby Pinn is the closest thing I've had to a time machine! As I've already said a Must do! If I happen to grace the mecca of New York City again, I'll happily take The East Village Punk Rock Junket Tour once more!! Cheers Bobby! | The tour guide Bobby Pinn was excellent. He brought the area of the East Village to life and I had already been staring at 3 significant buildings before Bobby arrived not having a clue about their role in the East Village punk/glam rock scene. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a remote interest in the music and art of that era. If you like Iggy and the Stooges, The Ramones, Blondie, New York Dolls and Andy Warhol etc you will really enjoy this walking tour. | ||||||
