| My husband and I took this tour last week and enthusiastically recommend it. We were looking for something a bit off the beaten track where we would learn about an area of interest while touring a neighborhood that we were unfamiliar with. Our guide, Bobby, was excellent. His personal love for and experience with the subject matter made for a great experience. Additionally, he brought photos, articles and album covers, which were a nice reference. We loved it! | ||||||

| The tour was very informative and highly entertaining. Bobby (the tour guide) clearly knows his music history and the associated landmarks of the East Village. In addition to the RnR component of the tour, it was nice walking the area with someone that's a local resident. My wife and I had our son with us (he's 15). He enjoyed the tour as well. | ||||||

| if you've got a list of 'things to do in New York' put this tour at the top, Bobby gives a fantastic insight into the musical heritage of New York and the East Village, if you love music you will love this tour, and you must go for a pint with Bobby afterwards... | ||||||

| Not only is this a fabulous "show and tell" of historical rock and roll hot spots in the East Village, it is also a great walking tour of the East Village. As with any good rock show ... it is not suitable for children. | ||||||

| Hands Down, best two hours spent in the city of the entire weekend!!! Bobby's knowledge and manner as a tour guide are beyond great! Would recommend this tour to any and all rock fans for the variety/quality of the information given on the tour! It's hard to pick a favorite part, loved the Led Zeppelin "Physical Graffitti" building, Trash & Vaudeville Store, Iggy Pop's condo......and on, and on! He is limitless in his knowledge and has such a warm/smooth presentation....makes you want more, more, more!!!!! | ||||||

| We had a terrific time on this tour. It was a Father's Day gift for my husband and he loved it! The walk through the East Village was educational, as we knew very little about this area of the City. I highly recommend the tour. | ||||||

| This was a good tour with a great guide - I didn't know who all the bands mentioned really were but it was an interesting delve into New Yorks punk history. The highlights were probably - Led Zeppelin album cover location and CBGBs, and also many of the guide's stories were interesting titbits I wouldn't have found out otherwise! I would recommend taking this tour if you already know a bit about the history and I would definitely recommend taking it before Aug/Sept when CBGBs is due to close as it's a great place to finish off the tour! It's also a great way to get better acquainted with the East Village and some of New York's history in general. I found it really helpful that the guide also put together a list of shops/bars etc that you might want to return to / visit with all the addresses on, I'd never have remembered where everything was otherwise! Thanks Bobby! | ||||||

| Some great stories from a guide who makes the area come to life and gives you a better sense of its past. Ours was a really diverse group of people, but all seemed to have a great time.. My partner was only along with me out of duty - he has no interest in music !! Even he was captivated by the stories and ended up enjoying the tour, despite his reservations! I loved every minute of it. | ||||||

| We had already done a fair bit of exploring in the East Village before taking this tour, but the two hours we spent doing this were great. We found out that we had walked right past several sites that we would have never known what they were or what had happened there if we hadn't taken this tour. I love Led Zeppelin and the Stones and my 14 year-old son loves the Ramones, so we had a blast visiting places and hearing stories about them. Bobby was cool and this turned out to be one of our favorite things that we did while in NYC. | ||||||
