O'Neill Yacht Charters

Crew was very helpful with this wobbly 76 year-old and his two grandsons. I wore a lifejacket from the git-go as I would be too slow putting it on in an emergency; besides it helped me keep warm. The wildlife viewing was great and the quiet of being under sail made this a real close-up moment. We saw California Sea Lions, sea Otters (one with a lively pup) and many birds. Even though the visibility was less than a mile, we got a close-up view of the Boardwalk and Municipal Pier. Go for it folks!

We went on a late Saturday afternoon for the 90 minute cruise. In additon to the sail along the Boardwalk and pier, we headed out into the bay for awhile and then returned following the coast. During this time, the captain slowed or stopped several times so we could watch the seals jumping out of the water within 50 feet of us as well as numerous sea otters floating on the surface as we went by.

- Nice sight seeing tour of the beaches, wharf, sea lions, cliffs (no info/history narration). - Reasonable prices on beverages/snacks. - Trampoline is a great place for kids to sit and roll around on. - Parking can be tricky and will cost $5 or $10 (overflow all day). I parked in the main overflow lot and still had a difficult time finding a spot.

Wonderful stable ride on the wide vessel. Got colder further out but tolerable. Would recommend a long ramp vs. the stairs to get into the Odyssey. Possible, O'Neill owners?

My group had a ton of fun on the ONeill! Beautiful boat amazing crew, it made our whole trip to Santa Cruz:)

It was so beautiful and relaxing to be out on the sailboat. We ended up seeing a whale which was amazing!!! We also saw dolphins and sea otters. Overall gorgeous and wonderful!

The O'Neill day sail I thought was a great deal for the price. We got an hour cruise for $20.00 per person and I took my dad and 15 year old son for fathers day. The staff was friendly and the sun was out so it was a good day. The only downside for us was that there were alot of young children on this particular cruise. I think next time I might book the evening wine cruise. :)

The ride was wild. Water splashing, Wind blowing, People Smiling & Laughing and Injoyed jumping with the big waves, all of us had great time. It was nice that you can being drinkes, there was a couple injoying a glass of wine. They boat has afortable pricing on there drinks too. The crew was great they looked out for your safety and interacted with you. Having you feel comfortable on the boat ride. This is a great deal i would do it again.

the sail was very relaxing and fun to me and my family. We have never sailed before and enjoyed everything about it. I would recommend this sail to anyone. The staff was pleasent and knowledgeable. Wish I could have sailed all day.

The sail was beautiful. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fun activity for the day in Santa Cruz. The staff were professional & friendly!

This sail was terrific!

I was a part of a group of 18 mothers and their teen daughters. The weather was beautiful and the catamarran ride was fabulous! I loved the scenery, both the bay and the shore. It was so nice to see smiles on every teenagers face. We did not see any dolphin but there were seals. Before the trip, I was afraid I might get seasick, but I did not have not even one moment of discomfort. The captain and crew made us feel very welcome. This trip was a great stress buster and I was sorry when it was over!

Our group of approximately 40 teenage girls and their moms enjoyed a wonderful afternoon sail. It was the perfect event, The crew was experienced and friendly. We would highly recommend this for everyone, including families, single adults, youth groups, couples, etc...

I highly recommend this cruise. We were a younger group. The fact that you can bring your own food/ drinks on the boat was the selling point for us. The crew was very friendly. If your in Santa Cruz, you should definitely check this out!

Would have enjoyed getting closer to shore a number of times during cruse.
