Incredible knowledge
Mon, Aug 23  11:00 AM jerieagan Female 50-59 Local Individual
The tour was longer than the 90 minutes and was worth the extra time; tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. Great for knowing the background of all the buildings and institutions as well as finding interesting new places. I just wish there was more pride shown in the accomplishments of Wall Street (and please don't use that awful, inappropriate term "robber barrons"). To praise Carnegie for his charity rather than the great steel industry he created is like praising Lincoln for his beard.

Tour guides were not as advertised.

From the advertisement, I thought I would get a highly educated wall street worker or former worker. Not so. Mistakes were made on the tour, the former Secretary of the Treasury is Robert Rubin not Paul Rubin. New York Stock exchange went public not 20 years ago, about 5 years ago. The Britished taxed the colonists to pay for the French and Indian war, not just so they could keep taxing the colonists. Also when we went to the Federal Reserve tour, no further tour information from the guide. We had extra time would have been interesting to learn something that was not on the tour. Also did not know when the tour ended. After the Fed tour, we did not see our guide again, was the tour over?

Excellent tour with very informative guide who actually worked in the area she was speaking about. If you have any interest in the financial aspect of Wall Street this tour is well worth the money and time.

A Must Do

Highly recommended. The guide was an experienced Wall Street veteran and thus real interesting , adding more than just an historical perspective. The group of "tourists" were predominately New Yorkers which also tells you something, The tour ends near Stone Street with it's string of tempting restaurants and a number of bars. The meeting point is easy to find and a number of convenient subway stations to anywhere in the city are near by.Do you know why the "bull" is symbolic of a rising market? Take the tour and then have a meal and / or a bar stop. My wife and I plan of doing the tour again and making an afternoon of it. There are a number of other attractions near by also. Rain-affected tour
Mon, Mar 29  1:00 PM michellekoh Female 30-39 International Tourist(s) Individual
Tour took place in the rain so didn't spend much time in the various places of interest and was quite rushed. The guide did her best in the conditions and was knowledgeable about the history of the area. Highlight of the trip was the visit to the Federal Reserve Gold Vault. Recommended for people interested in the financial history of the city but not otherwise.

Annanicole is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. She leads you around Wall St with just the right mix of historical facts and more current stories. This tour is a good way to see the Federal Reserve gold vault if you forgot to get tickets for that early.
