I HIGHLY recommend this tour no matter what your age or musical interests. Memphis Jones our musician guide was incredible! He was very enthusiastic and engaging and knew so much about Memphis and music history that I could've sat on the bus all day and listened to him talk! It was so exciting to see and hear about all the places where music history was made, like Sun Studio or the record store where the first Elvis record was sold (which sadly sells chicken wings now instead). There is some amazing things happened in this city that changed the world, and it is all told through an exciting musical tour. Don't miss it!

You Can't "Beat" It!

This was our second time in recent years to go on the MoJo Tour. We actually had the fabulous Katherine as our tour guide/entertainer again. It was wonderful to have 10 of us all doing the same activity without someone having to drive or struggle with a map. You could kick back and relax. We enjoyed being able to bring snacks and drinks, including adult beverages, on the bus. It was audience participation with absolutely no pressure. When touring a city with such a unique atmosphere and musical history, you can't beat Backbeat tours!

Mojo Fun Tour

The Mojo bus tour was very nice with a great background history of the music scene and the citizens that made the city what it is today

The Tour host was full of interesting titbits of history and Elvis ( which was the reason that I was in Memphis) and sung his way through the music history of Memphis .... The stop at Sun Records appeared to be a promotional commercial stop rather than a historic visit to the Studio and it woulkd have been nice to have another stop and photo session at another suitable venue.

It was just passable as a organised tour and we were lucky that the bus was not over crowded.... the bus itself was rather old and uncomfortable over the bumps

When we signed up for the Memphis Moho tour we had no idea that we would learn so much about the music that originated in Memphis. We really enjoyed the tour guide who played the guitar and sang songs. By doing this, we were able to recognize songs and learn a lot about who, when were they were originated and some interesting facts. I have been on many tours in many cities and this one was the most original and most interesting. Everyone in my family learned a lot and had a much richer experience in Memphis. I would strongly recommend this tour

This tour was a great way to learn about Memphis blues & rock & roll history. It was fun being interactive with the singer / tour guide. We all had a great time and the bus was cool and comfortable. I'd even do it again because it was so much fun.
