This was a fun date for my husband and I who live in a part of the state where there is nothing like this. We don't have nice restaurants, nor do we have food tours. It was a great way to see and sample restaurants we had never been to before. We come to Lexington frequently but not downtown (due to parking issues and our lack of familiarity). However, that will change now that we know about all these wonderful places to eat downtown!

Our tour guide, Laurie, was very informative about the restaurants, the chefs, the food, and the history of the city.

The only part of the tour that I would change/eliminate is the stop at Sam's hot dog stand. The Ale-8 that was served at this stop is unique to Ky so I understand that, but I really wasn't expecting this place to included in the list of establishments. I guess I just expected to try something new- or that I don't get to try very often. There are many other options that could be traded out for the Sam's stop, but that's just my personal opinion.

The diversity of our small group made it fun, interesting, and a really good time (from Eastern KY to Canada). My husband has a bad knee and I was concerned the duration might be too much for him, but he managed fine because most of the stops included some sitting time. Definitely give this tour a go, if you're looking for something fun to do one weekend!

I really enjoyed trying different foods at the different types of restaurants. The time was not too long or too short. I would like to see some low-carb and low-sugar options offered.

This tour, while in a residential area, is a must to experience wonderful food provided by chefs in unique restaurants, markets, and breweries. You can definitely sense the passion in every dish!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Laura. She was pleasant,, funny and very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the restaurants.

Laura kept the tour lively and interesting. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lexington. Will definitely take her Sunday tour if we come back to Lexington.
