I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food was delicious, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and presented the facts in a very interesting light. I loved the fact that we could walk in between eating. I plan on joining the east Aurora tour.

My 2 adult daughters and I took this tour one Saturday morning after seeing their ad in Buffalo Magazine. The tour guide/owner was well informed, very friendly and provided the 11 people in this group a walking tour of this Elmwood area and a sampling of food from 7 very interesting and delicious restaurants. I highly recommend this tour and look forward to the added tour in East Aurora.

Great Food Tour of Buffalo and Much More!
Sat, Apr 19, 14  11:30 AM Male 30-39 Local Family With Children
This tour was great. I have to admit I did not expect much. Having grown up in Buffalo, another chance to eat a chicken wing didn't exactly thrill me. I was pleasantly surprised. We booked the tour because my wife's family was in town for Easter. We got a chance to sample some really good fresh Buffalo fare, including Lloyd's Taco Truck. What really impressed us was our stroll through the neighborhood. Beautiful homes and lots of history. After the tour we took time to head back to the stops we enjoyed and did some more exploring. What a great day. Worth every penny! Did I mention my 9 year old daughter loved it too???

Great way to spend an afternoon in the city

Our family did the Buffalo Bites tour to celebrate my husband's birthday in late December. Really fun day and our tour guide Laura was fantastic. She shared lots of history about the development of the Elmwood area and Buffalo in general including details about the impact of different immigrant groups over the years. Light hearted and entertaining with just the right amount of information and fun. The food stops were great and we left for the day with full tummies and a list of wonderful places to revisit.

We would highly recommend this at any time of the year. The tour runs rain of shine, but we broke up the cold with well spaced food stops. All the tastings were fun and representative of either Buffalo in general ( think wings) or the restaurant's specialities (duck fires and beer at the gastro pub). Definitely something we will do again with a group of friends. Thanks Laura for a great day!

Tasty and Interesting Fun In Buffalo
Sat, Nov 16, 13  11:00 AM Female 50-59 Unspecified Unspecified
A friend and I were looking for something fun to do and I came across this 3 hour food walking tour. Sounded fun since I am an "out of towner" that comes into the area for work regularly and my friend is a local. We both had a great time even though we came with different expectations. We both learned some things about Buffalo as well as had some tasty food. Sort of like going on a cruise...you can sample places and decide if you want to go back for a longer visit in the future. We visited 6 places with food and/or beverages during our walk. The tour also included visiting (from the outside) interesting sights in and around the Elmwood area. Our tour director was practically perfect in every way. She was smart, informative and funny as well as easy going and thoughtful. I will be back! The food tour takes a break for a few months after the end of Nov due to weather but I signed up for emails. I am looking forward to taking others on this tour. Keep up the great job!

A Must Do for Locals and Vistors Alike!
Sat, Nov 9, 13  11:00 AM Male 20-29 Local Couple on a Date
I cannot say enough about this tour! I went this weekend with my boyfriend to show him the best parts of Buffalo and our local cuisine. This tour turned out to be much more! We not only ate our way through the Elmwood Village, but we also were educated on so much more. Learning about the architecture and Buffalo's Olmstead Park System was the best! The tour was well spaced out with 6 food stops. We spent just short of 4 hours walking around Buffalo and soaking in the local culture with locals and visitors alike. The tour was well organized and our guide was very well-educated on Buffalo's past, present and glowing future. In typical Buffalo fashion by the end of the tour the group was chatting and carrying on like we had know each other for years. I bought this because I thought it would be perfect to show someone from out of town what our city has to offer and boy was I right! What I didn't expect is that this tour was also incredibly interesting and enjoyable for someone who has spent most of their life in WNY. This is an awesome gift for someone whether they live in Tonawanda or Tampa!
